I'm disappointed this time. The palomino and lemon cream sauce were delicious. However, our chicken was cooked on too high temp and for too long. Almost burned and dried out. Also we ordered chicken tortellini soup but we got chicken noodle. We were not asked or told they didn't have it. They should have called and asked what we would like instead. Simply outstanding! I needed to host a small funeral luncheon after my relative's funeral and interment at nearby Resurrection Cemetery, and Aurelio's exceeded all my hopes and expectations! First off -- they were open on Monday, which was a challenge to find. And they graciously took my vague reservation for 10-20 people around 1 or 2 pm. Our party arrived and everything was set and ready to go. But what blew us all away was the food. UTTERLY DELICIOUS. This restaurant serves delicious and authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. The Toscana salad is the best salad in town bar none! I am always comfortable ordering take-outs for shut-ins as a welcomed alternative to their standard Meals on Wheels. There has never been a server who hasn't been happy to assist with my orders, hold the door for me when I exit, or provide me with ice water for my drives. We tried this place the other night when our normal go to Italian restaurant was completely booked and unable to work us in for over an hour. It was our first time here and upon entering it was a very cute little restaurant. Much smaller than what we thought but the murals and lighting made the place feel welcoming. There were only two tables that evening. We waited at the door for close to 5 minutes before being noticed. There was a make And female server, both looked barely twenty. There was confusion between them as to whom was taking care of the two of us. Finally our waiter came over and he was very nice. He explained the menu in great detail which was nice because the description on the menu is not clear of what comes with your meal. I believe it was just a typo that was never corrected. Unfortunately all of our meal fell flat and lackluster. There was seasoning to the food for the side of pasta. The bread felt microwaved. My chicken dish, even though a lemon crème sauce, tasted as if two whole lemons were juiced on top of it. Way too much. The spaghetti with meatballs again had no flavor, the meat an unusual texture. The was decent but doesn't make a meal. Most of our main dishes went uneaten and we didn't take the leftovers home. We may give it another try one time in the future... there's honestly too many good Italian options within two miles of this place... read more

Went today with a group of eleven women. Several of us were very disappointed with the food today. I use to come here especially for there seafood ravioli. They no longer serve it. So I ordered linguine with clam sauce (another one of my favorites) . The sauce was terrible disappointing. I called to express my feelings and they just said they haven't changed their recipe. Went to Aurelio's about a week ago for lunch with some friends. The vibe was really nice. We sat outside on the patio. The owner of the restaurant and his son, we're sitting outside and greeted us. They explained the history of the restaurant and how they have been renovating. I thought it was pretty cool that they attempted to "get to know us". At any rate, we had the lunch specials. I ordered the chicken Parm, which was serve with a house salad. I must say this was a healthy amount of food for $13. I noticed that a lot of people inside were ordering the lasagna, per the waitress it's a must have. I guess I will try that next time. read more

Writing this review had reservations booked over a month and a half ago for Andiamo in Clinton Township made it with the manager did not tell us that they were having a buffet Instead of a regular menu buffet was over $50 a person got there with my family and had to leave because not everybody eat some buffet. I understand that's the way they do business but they should make it clear when you're making a reservations me and my family had to leave and try to find something else where to go at 4 PM on Easter Sunday always eat there, but I will not be returning back very unhappy. They did not explain this to us when we called to make the reservation, especially being a manager, taking the call. She was very friendly and took care of us throughout dinner. The portions are huge!! Neither of us could finish our dish so we had left overs for the next day.
