Private room used for banquets/showers. This was a family member's wedding shower dinner

My family and I have been coming here for over 25 years and remains one of our favorites. An Excellent Italian restaurant for all types of occasions-dining out for dinners, graduation celebrations, homecoming dinners, and wedding showers using their private banquet rooms. Service is always friendly, professional, and attentive to detail making sure your experience is enjoyable. Food is authentic and delicious without breaking your wallet. Entrees are served with complimentary bread, house salad, and side of pasta with marinara sauce. Most Italian places charge for an additional side salad and pasta with your entrees but not here. Portions are large and I almost always have leftovers for the lunch the next day. It's an old school authentic Italian restaurant and will always be one of my favorites because it brings back so many memories since I grew up coming here. Not too much as changed over the years even the menu remains almost identical.

Ordered pickup from grub hub and this was a complete disappointment. Upon pickup we were completely ignored as other patrons were greeted and walked past us. The seafood pasta had zero flavor - to the point where it seemed as if the water wasn't salted to boil the noodles. The Caesar dressing was completely inedible - tasted like nothing but mayonnaise with no additional flavor. The calamari was rubbery and doused in lemon. Finally, we ordered two entrees and only 1 salad was given. Giving 1 star because the salad itself was good despite the dressing.

No better place to celebrate my 80th birthday than here at Picano's. MY wife invited 80 friends and family members to the party in the Caesar Room. We started with the smallest banquet room and moved to the biggest. It was a full family-style meal with two meat choices, salad, pasta and dessert for all. Folks with certain food allergies were will served. Everybody enjoyed their meal and the fast service. Such a great waitstaff! This was the best party ever! Thank you!!!

Reliably good. Very authentic. Awesome tiramisu. A little dated in decor. Overall, one of the best Italian restaurants around.

Classic Italian. Good food and service but the place feels a bit dated. Could use a bit of upgrade

To start, the Amaro Soda ($6) offers a nonalcoholic, botanical sparkling beverage perfect for a hot day! The Wagu Beef Carpaccio ($24) is almost melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfect for sharing. If you are a bread lover, order the Sourdough Bread & Butter ($6). It is definitely carb-worthy!! Moving on to main dishes, I had the Risotto ($27) and my husband had the Paccheri ($34). The risotto was cooked to perfection and topped with a delightful roasted tomato/olive medley. My husband's meal was fabulous--I believe I will order it the next time O visit. Dessert? We opted to share one scoop of the Lime-Cucumber-Mint Sorbet ($7). This is a dairy-free option, so the texture is slightly grainy compared to ice cream, but the flavor was perfect for summer. The staff members were pleasant and knowledgeable, our water glasses never were empty, and the food was spaced perfectly. We will be back!

Ambiance: I've never been to Italy so I'm just pretending this is what a small restaurant in Italy might feel like. Definitely worth a visit!

I only loved the gnocchi. The meats were not good & the seafood ceviche was too fishy. My biggest complaint is that not one dish was hot. All lukewarm.
