In the decade that we have been with this amazing studio, we have always had such a wonderful experience as both a rec and a competition family. We have participated in 11 recitals and in recent years, numerous competitions. In my experience they are all run like a well-oiled machine. They have rules and processes in place primarily to keep our children safe and to ensure everything runs smoothly and to create a great experience for the hundreds (thousands?) of students and parents. If you have common sense and are a decent person, it's not hard to understand why the studio runs things the way they do. ALL of the staff and teachers are exceptional and I love having the peace of mind that my children are receiving excellent training in a loving, safe and positive environment. This studio is truly my daughter's second home and there's nowhere else we'd rather be. We are so grateful for our wonderful dance family!

If you are looking for a studio that knows how to produce elite, industry-ready competitors who win titles, they absolutely deliver on that front. It is undeniably a powerhouse, backed by the resources and affluence required to compete at the highest levels. However, dance is supposed to be an art form that inspires community, but our experience with OCPAA at a recent convention highlighted a deeply concerning cultural issue. We witnessed an elitist, "mean girl" attitude from several of their dancers that went beyond standard competitive drive. Bringing other dancers down and carrying an air of superiority doesn't just hurt the individuals targeted; it actively damages the broader community of competitive dance. Ultimately, it comes down to what you value as a parent or a dancer: - If you view dance purely as a cutthroat industry where winning justifies a "burn bridges and cut down the competition" mentality, then this studio's environment will likely align with your goals. -If you love dance for the art, the community, and the personal growth, and believe that being a great dancer should go hand-in-hand with being a supportive human being, you may find the culture here deeply disappointing. Technique can be bought and taught, but character is modeled from the top down. It is a shame that such a high-caliber studio allows a toxic social culture to overshadow the immense talent of its students. I hope leadership takes note and starts fostering humility alongside their awards.

Other studios I've been to have either been too strict or too easygoing and baby the children. That being said, the ladies who run this studio are absolutely lovely (Ms Kelly and Carrie). My daughter is LEARNING the fundamentals of dance and has fun at the same time. The TDC community is very welcoming and supportive as well. Dance moms are not usually known for being the friendliest sort, and all of the moms and dads I've crossed paths with here have been so incredibly kind. It's a really nice place for kids to take classes. I highly recommend coach Kaylee and coach Talia. They are both amazing, and my daughter looks forward to going to class every week. She has made friends in class, and throughly enjoys being at this school. If you're looking for a dance studio, I highly recommend you try out a class.

Great dance studio!…read more My daughter is 2 1/2 and we attended a free trial of the Kindermusik class. It was a lot of fun -- she absolutely loved it. The class had a lot of energy and creativity through song and story telling, which is great for encouraging kids to use their imagination. The teacher was fun and energetic which made the experience even better. If the schedule works for us, we'll definitely be signing her up for more classes. I highly recommend trying out this dance studio! They offer classes for both kids and adults. Hopefully once things calm down with the kids, I'll be able to try one of the adult classes too. :)

From the very first phone call to booking our first session, my friend and I felt completely at ease. We were searching for something recreational for our daughters to enjoy together, and as moms of girls on the spectrum, finding the right environment is so important and not always easy. After a not-so-great experience elsewhere, we were honestly a little nervous... but this studio completely changed everything for us. They went above and beyond right from the start, sending reminders about the tryout, letting us know what to bring, and even offering ballet flats and shoes to borrow so the girls would feel comfortable and included. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much. And then there's Mrs. Paris... truly something magical. She's the perfect balance of firm, professional, and incredibly fun. Her energy is contagious, and you can just feel how much the girls adore her. She's exceptional at what she does, using inclusive language, keeping the class engaging, and creating a space where every child feels seen and supported. The class itself is such a great mix, ballet in the first half and tap in the second and the girls were engaged the entire time. My friend and I kept looking at each other, just so proud and honestly a little emotional seeing our daughters so happy and thriving in that environment. It was an absolute no-brainer, we signed up that same day. If you're looking for a fun, intimate, and truly inclusive dance experience, this is the place.

We've been coming to this ballet studio for many years, and while the instruction, teachers, and…read morecurriculum are absolutely amazing, the parking and drop-off situation is a nightmare. During peak hours--especially between 4 to 6pm on weekdays--the area around the studio becomes chaotic. Parents frequently block the red zone in front of the building to drop off or pick up their children, causing serious traffic congestion. To make matters worse, vendors are selling prepackaged food, fruit boxes, and other perishables directly from their vehicles--both in front of and behind the studio. This draws long lines of customers who often stand in the middle of the road, blocking parking spaces and making it difficult and unsafe for cars to get through. Even more concerning is the lack of supervision for children in the parking lot. Kids often dart out into traffic without looking, and drivers are forced to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting them. Many parents appear distracted and are not paying attention to their children's whereabouts. This situation has persisted for years and only continues to get worse. As much as we love the studio, the surrounding chaos and safety risks are making us seriously question how much longer we can continue coming here.
