From…read morethe leasing agents to the maintenance team, everyone has been extremely kind and helpful. Johnny made my sister and I's move in experience a breeze and has always been very accommodating to us! The complex is quiet and the landscaping is always very well maintained. The Reserve creates a community for residents by providing social events every few months in the common area, which has really allowed my sister and I to feel at home throughout our time living here. I would highly recommend the Reserve for a comfortable and inclusive apartment living experience! :)

I moved out of state a couple years back. Recently, I made an online purchase that was mistakenly sent to my old address at the Reserve. Both Kelan and Jonathan have been so extremely helpful in helping me retrieve these packages. Without their assistance, I could've been waiting months and possibly just lose out on the items ordered as well as the funds spent. I greatly appreciate your help, and it shows that even post-residents you guys still care for. Highly recommend!

Not that is real management in my book. This is great apartment complex to be at not to mention quiet and clean too. Thanks Ava!

Health and fire hazards as well such as mold. Management is hard to get a hold of and they seem bothered when you submit maintenance requests. I've stayed here because it's affordable but if they raise the rent on us in January, I'm going to just cut my losses and file a lawsuit against them with part of the money I have saved to buy a new home next year. These apartments are not worth more than what they're already charging us. I know others in the community who feel the same way I do. They like to micromanage us and find ways to over charge us anyway that they can, but we aren't seeing any of that money being put back into bettering our community. It's very one sided.

I repeatedly explained the urgency of the situation and emphasized that my children's health is extremely important to me, yet this was completely ignored. We spent over $100 out of pocket sealing drains, cracks, and vents, and had pest control come out multiple times, but nothing changed. The roaches--Turkestan roaches, which live in sewer drains--were coming from the property itself. Pest control even showed us the nests on-site. We had to pack up our entire apartment so they could deep spray, only to see more roaches the next day. What made the situation worse was how unhelpful and unprofessional the assistant manager Valissa was. When we brought a parent in to advocate with us, she brushed off our concerns, saying, "That's apartment living." She admitted to living with roaches before and even told us she was "also from the ghetto," which felt like a racially charged attempt to relate to us just because we're Black. She was rude about even basic concerns. Meanwhile, the front office never answers the phone--we have call logs to prove it. I've called five times in one day with no response, and once, my roommate literally watched Valissa sitting in the lobby eating grapes while the phone rang. She ignored it and then casually offered us some grapes afterward. To her credit, Sharoy seemed more helpful from my roommate's experience. She offered to pay for our movers and helped us buy supplies, and she said they'd keep our rent the same if we stayed. That was appreciated--but after talking to other residents with the same issue, we realized staying wouldn't solve anything. We even emailed the VP to ask for some kind of rent adjustment since we were being forced to move out before our lease was up. We weren't even given a chance to speak--we were told flatly that the request was denied and that we still had to pay full rent and return our keys by June 30 or else get charged another month. This complex had the perfect amount of space and could have been great, but we were pushed out by a roach infestation and a management team that didn't care. It's exhausting and financially draining to have to move again, especially after already packing up once for a deep spray. Beyond the roaches, maintenance is slow. I lived here nearly a year and my oven and bathroom lights were never fixed. One time, a worker came to fix the tub, left tools in the tub, scraped the paint, and even left a shoe print on my bed. If someone posts about roaches at this complex, believe them. And if management reads this--do better. Hire responsive staff, treat tenants with respect, and stop gaslighting residents about major pest issues. If u can help it stay out of apartment 212

PLEASE READ BEFORE CHOOSING ZINFANDEL!…read more I moved out November 20, 2023. Requested Vacate papers from them Oct 21, a month before I moved out. I requested this from Cynthia (the laughable manager - see picture below. They could've taped them to my door or put them in my mailbox. She never did this. Then I provided written notice of my intent to vacate on the 20th. Went into the office and told Auryanna verbally as well. Just received a letter they are attempting to charge me the month from 12/5/23 - 1/7/2024, when I in fact DID NOT live there. I left the apartment in near pristine condition besides a few stains they could spot clean. The drop box was damaged so I could not put my keys in there the morning (4am) of my move. I mailed the keys back. CA state law says they have 21 days to return my security deposit or provide me a list of deductions. They mailed me a letter dated 32 days after move out and I received it 45 days after move out ILLEGALLY. My AC went out 4 times in the year I was there. Multiple times came home from work to an apartment that was 90+ degrees with my poor dog sweltering all day. After the third time it went out I kindly requested they replace the old unit. They w refused because it was "too expensive" meanwhile I'm paying $1500 every month in rent. I knew there were red flags BEFORE moving in. Called dozens of times, left multiple messages over a few days. So, I took time off of work to drive over there. I stood outside the glass lobby doors and watched 2 girls staring at their computer, no tenants in there just listen to the phone ring and ring without answering. THESE PEOPLE ARE SLUM LORDS AND SCAMMERS!! I would give 0 stars if I could, but I intend to warn people before moving in. There's a reason this place has only 2 stars. AC units going out, scamming people, bugs bugs bugs, dog poop everywhere on the property - the sad excuse for a dog run had close to 40 piles that were dried, gross and never picked up. Kids sleeping at the pool in the middle of winter on the lawn chairs. I FULLY INTEND TO FIGHT THIS IN COURT AND WILL POST ON REDDIT, FB, GOOGLE - wherever I can to warn people about the grossness that is Zinfandel Village.

Get rid of current managers and hire competent and qualified managers…read more My husband and I have lived at BDX for three years and our first year was great when Amna managed the property. Also when Jessie was here as well. Those two were great, even though there were issues they had never had a bad attitude. We and many other friends that rent here or still do each had problems and it was never resolved until we had to just forget about it or get really angry. Tenants rarely get updates and promised rental bikes, Saturday dry brunch, upgrades in the apartments etc. The staff has gone way down hill since our first year and every time we had an issue or a question, the leasing staff always had to double, triple check with Victoria who was shockingly always too busy to talk for 5minutes. There were many break ins - with the storages and car garages and another tenant was told the storage key is the same for all the storage units. The water is murky and I've complained so many times and nothing was ever done. When I did complained to Victoria about the safety of our garage constantly opening, she did not respond for 2-3 days. This is so unprofessional and I hope future potential tenants do not let her make you feel your safety does not matter. Another friend that broke their lease to get out of this place complained to Victoria about upstairs noise and she told them "there's only two people that live up there, how much noise can they make?" How can a GENERAL MANAGER be so condescending towards their tenants? Fast forward, when we decided to finally move out, we wanted to deal with Victoria since I did not recognized the other two staff that was working and again did not want to get told "let me double check with Victoria". Spencer, who was kind however I told him I would rather discuss the moving out process with Victoria. (So many tenants get told different things when we all gather around and talk about living at BDX - what we all have in common is disliking management) in the picture below is the new assistant manager Amber, who does not know how to deescalate and would rather smirk and antagonize tenants when I did not want to speak to her. Victoria and Amber called their disgusting behavior "customer service" and did not appreciate me recording them. Make sure these two get retrained on customer service and BDX policies because they both seem to have no idea what their own policies are and are giving out different information to each tenant. There are so many other bad experiences my friends, neighbors and we have dealt with living or still currently living here. One last thing, is WATCH OUT for pre-inspections, they told different tenants what needed to be clean and what is okay and not okay. When it was finally our turn, we were told everything should be okay and look fine. (Amber did our inspection). That means every single tenant had a different inspection & will likely get charged what they want to charge. How pathetic. No one picks up the phone when I try to escalate & complain to upper management either. Do better FPI. So glad we are done here.
