She quickly jumped into action and called appropriate venders to care of situation immediately. On top of that when replacing vanity cabinet she had faucet and vanity handle and towel bars and toilet paper holder updated to match my shower curtain and towels. Not that is real management in my book. This is great apartment complex to be at not to mention quiet and clean too. Thanks Ava!

Health and fire hazards as well such as mold. Management is hard to get a hold of and they seem bothered when you submit maintenance requests. I've stayed here because it's affordable but if they raise the rent on us in January, I'm going to just cut my losses and file a lawsuit against them with part of the money I have saved to buy a new home next year. These apartments are not worth more than what they're already charging us. I know others in the community who feel the same way I do. They like to micromanage us and find ways to over charge us anyway that they can, but we aren't seeing any of that money being put back into bettering our community. It's very one sided.

I spent hours cleaning the carpet and floors myself because they were filthy, and I still have photos from move-in showing how bad it was. Some stains on the floor never came off no matter how much I cleaned. I lived there for two years paying an extremely high amount of rent for a one-bedroom apartment, yet maintenance and overall quality were terrible. The cabinets and drawers are cheap and start falling apart, appliances barely work properly, and the entire place feels outdated. The stove had issues and getting things fixed was frustrating. Before moving out, I spent almost 18 hours deep cleaning the apartment and even took days off work just to finish everything on time. After all that, they still took more than half of my security deposit for "cleaning." They also deducted charges for items that were returned. It honestly feels like they will charge tenants no matter how much effort you put into leaving the apartment spotless. Management was also disappointing. Ashley was the only person who was actually helpful and respectful. Leslie, on the other hand, was never cooperative and never genuinely tried to help resolve concerns. For the amount they charge, this place is absolutely not worth it. I moved to a much nicer apartment in Folsom for a similar price, and the difference in quality is huge.

I have lived in these apartments for about 2 1/2 years, since they were called Oak Meadows (now…read morecalled Tahoe at Fair Oaks). The reason this complex doesn't have many reviews is because people mostly only write reviews when they have complaints. And let me tell you, there is nothing to complain about here. These are hands down the best apartments I have ever lived in - and I have lived in two separate units here. One was a standard 1 bed/1 bath, then I upgraded to one of their quadplex units (2 bed/2 bath) at the front of the complex. This complex has great management - Anda in the office is kind, attentive, and responds to all calls and requests immediately. I don't have an unkind thing to say about her or any of the maintenance staff. They've always handled any request promptly, and with a smile. The units themselves are very clean and well maintained. The quadplex I moved into was newly upgraded with beautiful vinyl hardwood that even has the look and texture of real hardwood. Plus the quadplexes have really decent sized patios where you can keep a small garden and let your pets roam. The interiors, both in my original unit and this one, were fresh and clean. The quadplex has all new fixtures and new cabinets in the kitchen, plus an electric fireplace with a remote and the new ceiling fan also has a remote. Everyone in the complex is friendly, and it is so incredibly quiet here. I never heard any disturbances, fighting, loud TVs, car radios or other noise. There was a neighbor who moved in who had a small barking dog, but management handled it as best they could while following the law and checked in with me often to see if the dog was quieting down and to make sure there was nothing else they could do. Eventually after due process they were able to take care of the situation. I really wanted to post this because I noticed there weren't many other reviews and I wanted to let everyone know these are great apartments and if you are considering moving here - DO IT! The rent is very reasonable, you are a 15 min walk to Bridge Street and the river (plus Fair Oaks Village & Sunflower Drive-In - try the food), and you will be in good hands with the management.

August 31st, 2026…read more Hello here is an updated review of the professional carpet cleaning: Management at the Aurora Apartments was very responsive to our concerns and apologized for the inconvenience. They were able to contact the third-party cleaning company and arrange for them to come out as early as Tuesday August 25th, 2026. We really appreciated their willingness to address the situation and help find a solution so quickly. Thank you to the management team for being understanding and helpful! However, I do believe the third-party cleaning crew was ultimately unsuccessful in fully cleaning the carpets. Now, two weeks after moving in, I decided to test the carpets myself. I completely cleaned out my vacuum beforehand and waited until the carpets were fully dry following the professional cleaning before attempting to vacuum the rooms again. I deliberately vacuumed the carpets slowly and thoroughly, spending several minutes going over the rooms to see what, if anything, remained. Unfortunately, my vacuum still picked up a significant amount of dirt, caked-on dust, and dog hair from the carpets. While I greatly appreciate management's willingness to respond to our concerns and arrange for an additional cleaning, I believe the condition of the carpets goes beyond what another standard cleaning can reasonably address. At this point, I believe the property owner should consider replacing the carpets entirely or using a different third-party carpet cleaning company that can provide a more thorough service. We genuinely appreciate management's efforts to help us resolve the issue; however, we also believe that tenants moving into a new apartment should reasonably expect the carpets to be thoroughly cleaned and ready for occupancy.

And our father was extremely pleased to be a resident and member of the community. The one thing that stood out for him and our family was the relationships that were formed with all levels of staff. He took the bus tours, he played (and a force to be reckoned with) Bingo. He started a putting club and got people interested in putting around on a green. He enjoyed the entertainment that came in regularly for "sing song" as he like to say. And he really enjoyed the themed holiday decorations that came out. He felt a part of. The care staff did a fabulous job keeping him informed and with any kind of assistance. When he had a question they were eager to help. Any questions that came up, the staff communicated with our family and were also available to answer any of our questions. The Chef and Dining experience. Oakmont of Fair Oaks did not serve "restaurant" food each day. They served gourmet meals that were very delicious. The staff formed relationships with our father and he came to have a standing order, "the usual". For the holidays we as his family were invited in to share in holiday celebrations.
