Ava who is the manager who lives on site is fantastic. Had a plumbing issue shortly after moving in, called after hours maintenance line to let know what was going on and who should answer? Ava the manager to the rescue. She quickly jumped into action and called appropriate venders to care of situation immediately. On top of that when replacing vanity cabinet she had faucet and vanity handle and towel bars and toilet paper holder updated to match my shower curtain and towels. My primary motivating factors for staying here are price and location. The appliances in the apartments, among other things, are old and outdated. There's frequent issues with plumbing. Health and fire hazards as well such as mold. Management is hard to get a hold of and they seem bothered when you submit maintenance requests. I've stayed here because it's affordable but if they raise the rent on us in January, I'm going to just cut my losses and file a lawsuit against them with part of the money I have saved to buy a new home next year. These apartments are not worth more than what they're already charging us. I know others in the community who feel the same way I do. They like to micromanage us and find ways to over charge us anyway that they can, but we aren't seeing any of that money being put back into bettering our community. It's very one sided. read more

My family and I moved into our apartment home in June. Overall, I love the staff. The only downside I do see is it seems every time I go to speak with someone they are out to lunch or break (at varying times). Nonetheless, they are so friendly and helpful. My direct neighbor and her family are absolutely lovely! They are so sweet to my "modern" family. It is an older complex, but with the renovations being done, I couldn't ask for a better deal with regards to what we pay. I am grateful I found this month-to-month home! read more

The apartment management only cares when certain tenants complain, the parking situation is a joke. If you are experiencing any kind of car trouble in the lot the apartment manager Ava will come out to tell you to move over to the Raleys next door. They do allow pets as long as they don't run, play, or make any kind of noise. If you have a love for animals or just want to be able to live a normal life at a reasonable volume I wouldn't recommend moving here read more

We had succumbed to the Millenial inflation rage that is going on with rentals nowadays. We were on a fixed income, and couldn't afford to stay at our currently inflated rental rate. We needed to find a place, and Sundridge was available. It was a smaller, and older looking complex, but it was clean, well insulated, and although it was smaller that our previous place, we were able to comfortably get our belongings in our dwelling. The neighbors are friendly, quiet, no noise-makers, nice community. The older complex means the management won't be sending our rent sky-rocketing like other new places in the area. Eva is a very knowledgeable manager, friendly, courteous, and works with everyone in the complex. She lives on-site. The maintenace man, Mark, is there the day you request service. We like it here... and we're glad we call this home!! read more

The manager, Ava, was GREAT manager we both ever had out of our whole experience of living in rental homes. She is very easy to communicate with, and we both felt that she runs a tight ship at Sunridge Apartments where we lived for a year and half before we moved to be closer to our jobs. She made sure things get done in timely manner and when there are problems, she took care of it right away. The assistant manager is awesome too, so is the handyman! All are very easy to interact with and very friendly. If there is ever a time we need to return to the area, Sunridge Apartments is definitely the first place we will go to. read more

My husband and I have lived at Sunridge apartments right after getting married and we couldn't ask for a better deal. Ava has been a wonderful manager to work with, and each time I communicated with her some request or question she always took care of us in a timely manner. We will miss our first apartment and its bittersweet to be leaving soon. We love the Fair Oaks area as well and its a bonus to have the gym right next door as well as the grocery store. I've lived here for 2 1/2 years. It is a great place to live. It clicks all of the boxes: Reasonable rent, convenient location, quiet friendly neighbors and an onsite staff that is immediately responsive to absolutely any concern no matter how small. When I moved to town I sent requests to 28 apartment complexes in the area. Ava was the only manager who responded. She is amazing at her job because she lives here and really cares about the community and its residents. She and the maintenance staff treat any issues like an emergency and take care of it immediately. They have even offered to make improvements for me that I didn't request. I first saw these apartments for many years, and was like "I would never live there" however, after talking with the land lord and seeing how she was dedicated to her job, I decided it wouldn't hurt. The price is sure right, but I got an apt with the back against the strip mall where Raleys is located and lets just say...its hard to sleep because of all the delivery trucks in and out at all hours and days. The garbage truck picks up at 3:30 am. I am definitely not happy about that, but it is what it is. Its a "get your life back together" place. The community is more quiet than I thought it was going to be. The apartment, for the money is big and comfy. Its cozy! I am real picky, but so far I feel safe and comfy. The wall air works well, just have some fans to help it out throughout the apt. I can't say much bad about this community. Apartments are apartments and I expect as much. I wish there was a no smoking and absolutely no pet policy, but people learn how to get around red tape. Its not the apartments fault, people are just people. Being safe is very important so it trumps the rest of the stuff that ruffles my feathers. I dedicated myself to being here for a while while I get back on my feet. I'm sure I can find some high powered fans to help with the noise. OH, and for an old place, they have dual pane widows. :) read more

Best value in Sacramento! My family & I have been staying at Sunridge for 9+ months. I originally intended for it to serve as a month-to-month stopgap as I searched for something more long-term, but my kids all love it here and call this place HOME. Very friendly & diverse neighbors, pool, sufficient parking, and excellent service. Ava and Jose have always been available for me, and handyman Mike is the man! If looking for a place to call home and you cannot afford to 'break the bank' while committing to a 12-month lease, then I strongly recommend Sunridge. read more

My roommate and I have been at sunridge for two years. I would highly recommend living here. The price is affordable, although the complex is older the interior is updated and maintained nicely. The month to month lease is nice as well. Parking is tight, however the fact that there is a shopping center nearby and that we are in a relatively safe and quite neighborhood makes it easy to find extra parking. Last but not least a huge upside of living here is the management and the environment that they have created. Ava is very professional but also down to earth, always listening to our input as residents. Not only hears us but really listens. She is great at communicating, I think sunridge is a much safer and more pleasant place to live because of her efforts and I'm sure it's not an easy task so thank you Ava! Jose the assistant manager is always around in case I need anything and is the friendliest guy ever! I feel I must write a review in contrast to those that have been left previously. I searched a long time for an affordable, clean and safe apartment; I was met with frustration and indifference on the part of several property managers. One confirmed an appointment with me, and when I arrived, she had totally forgotten it and my email confirming the date and time! When I walked into the office at Sunridge, I was greeted by Ava, and she could not have been nicer or more accommodating. She showed me a sample apartment and it was huge compared with all the others I had seen; I put a deposit down immediately, and have been very glad I did. I moved in about eight months ago and Ava really works hard to keep up this property and because it is an older complex, doing this requires lots of monitoring. When I asked for help, it arrives quickly and the problem is taken care of. I have found that the residents are quiet and do not bother anyone and they honor parking space assignments. I cannot speak for what Sunridge was like before I moved here, but I can honestly say now that this is the best apartment complex at this price point I have seen in this area. Place is awful. Kids running a muck most of the night and they also have a thing for hanging out on the stairs. I almost broke my neck from stepping on an empty water bottle they left on the stairs. In the kitchen, I've seen quite a few roaches and the oven burned damn near everything we cooked because it didn't work correctly. It's not a good living environment, but more like a place to just save up some much needed money then kick rocks. Not a place for children considering how I've noticed they only play around dumpsters and through the buildings since it's mostly concrete there. People don't care about taking your one parking space either. And last thing, for some reason there are arguments and fights that I hear that will keep you up or wake you up at night along with loud music. Oh yeah and don't forget about the the donuts that losers do in the parking lot behind Raley's at 2 am. If you decide to live here, then have fun :) lol read more

Spent a year and a half living at these apartments. Didn't know what to expect when I pulled up but the apartments are very spacious with good sized rooms, nice kitchens, and good sized living room. You really get your bang for your buck. This is the only apartment I've ever lived at with the management was on point. Ava is extremely nice and helpful and she gets it done in a timely matter which I can't say enough about. The only complaint I have is that the parking lot is difficult to navigate with small space. Overall though it's really nice for what the price is. You're also walking distance from a raleys and anytime fitness so it's a really nice convenient location. The only reason I moved was bc of work. Otherwise I would've liked to stay. read more
