Gave the number a call and explained the situation to the very nice lady on the phone which I found out later was Brian Bentleys wife. She contacted her husband immediately and he returned the call and made arrangements to come to the race track and look at our refrigerator. After about 10 minutes he found the problem and was able to repair our refrigerator. The cost was more than reasonable. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting with him. I've been looking for a mechanic close to home for years now. This is a much harder task than I…read morethought. I came across Roberts on Groupon and for a short while, thought I had found a mechanic. I met the owner on several occasions and he is an incredibly nice and honest business owner. His main office guy Mario, is as well. They want your business and want to make sure you are happy with the service you received. My problem was that too often, I was unhappy with the work performed. One of the challenges for me was that they are only open M-F, 9-5. When I needed work done - it's a day off. My expectation is that the work would be done right the first time. Unfortunately, three times in a row, it was not and it cost me quite a bit of extra time off as I had to return: The first time I had an oil change and an air filter put in. Afterwards I could hear a vibration in the engine at high speeds. It turned out that the air filter wasn't properly placed in the housing. Small issue The second time I had new tires placed on the car. They told me I had to go to the dealer because the camber wasn't to spec. On my way to the dealer, my steering wheel started shaking very strongly. I mentioned it to the dealer - they checked and the tires weren't balanced (the dealer balanced for free). They also noticed that three of the four tires had imperfections in them. So it was back to Roberts. In all fairness, Roberts was very nice and apologetic and likely made no money off of this work. That is because every tire that they went to put on had an imperfection in it. It took quite a while to get it right. I believe I had to take two days off of work just to get new tires. The third and final time I was back for an oil change. They mentioned that I needed new wipers. I said sure. The mechanic must have never checked the operation of them because when I tried to use them there was a pretty large part that didn't even touch the window. They used aftermarket parts and forced something too big into the wiper. As a result it bowed and a part of it was never flush against the window. So again I went back. Again I received apologies and was told they would fix it. Then I was asked if I had some time because they didn't have the part needed. I had finally had enough and said I would not be coming back. What made it worse was that to fix it I had to spend an additional $60 at the dealership. Air filters and wipers are small issues - if things went wrong on these I couldn't imagine what could go wrong with bigger issues. The only reason I didn't give one star was the owner. Like I said - honest and nice. He should probably look into the work his staff are doing. I can't imagine that I'm the only one who this has happened to.

We…read morewere contacted (Jeff) within 10 minutes and had an electrician (Ryan) on site within two hours. The professionalism and knowledge contributed to our issue being fixed on that visit. Jeff followed up with a call to ensure everything was working. We have even scheduled them to do some upgrades for us on a non-emergency basis that included additional resources such as a bucket truck and special order outdoor light fixtures. We bought a house in Munster Indiana and found that the previous owner used an unlicensed…read moreelectrician to do all the electrical work during a complete remodel. We had the outside garage light short on the sharp edge of conduit and burn because it wasn't on a junction box. This was an electrical fire that luckily didn't spread and burn down the house. We then started looking at other electrical device wiring and we found many other problems. Jeff and EPS went out of their way to get a crew to our house ASAP even when they had plenty of other work and a full schedule. They quickly got the worst of the issues fixed and just came for the final time to finish everything else. The work was completed cleanly and professionally with building codes and safety in mind. My family sincerely thanks EPS for helping us and doing great work.
