I needed to find a good Nephrologist to help me with my medical issues sustained in the military. Here, i found Doctor Ravi Middidoddi. There are many things that I can say, but I will simply say: - he understands and takes account for an overall health diagnosis - he understands and is compassionate for the patient and their family - he always stays up to date on latest medical advice, information, treatment, and diagnosis techniques Additionally, he intimately cares for you as a patient and always remembers WHO you are and not that you are a "number" or "patient".. he knows you are a person coming for help. No matter what insurance provider I have, I always ensure that Dr. Middidodi is covered under those plans... his services are well worth the effort when you need to save your life.

My mum is a kidney transplant patient who experienced some difficulties, including hospitalization, in the first few years after her transplant. During one of these hospitalizations, my mum had the good luck of being seen by Dr. Mididoddi. He took the time to familiarize himself with her history and the facts and circumstances that caused her hospitalization. Upon meeting with her at the hospital he was compassionate, competent, and knowledgeable. After that hospitalization, my mum switched nephrologists and began seeing Dr. Mididoddi. It was the best decision. Dr. Mididoddi continues to be my mum's favorite doctor. He is concerned about my mother's overall well-being and not just the health of her kidney. Dr. Mididoddi has done a wonderful job of referring my mum to additional doctors, when necessary, and strives for a cohesive and balanced approach to her healthcare. Even though my mum has many health issues, Dr. Mididoddi does a great job of not making her or our family feel overwhelmed, putting things in perspective and offering helpful insight into what can be done to improve my mum's health and optimize her quality of life. He also stresses the fact that he is always a phone call or an email away and no question or concern is too small to bring to his attention.

Rude comments like "wait til I leave them room because I don't want to see all of that". However, P.A. Sandy has the most incredible bedside manner. Very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. The ER is always crowded but they really do try their best to make sure you're somewhat comfortable, offering warm blankets and checking in on you and even popping in to give feedback on wait times and labs.

My ultrasound-guided IV infiltrated, causing unnecessary pain and frustration. Rather than acknowledging what had happened or showing empathy, I felt dismissed throughout my visit. After the IV failed, another senior nurse repeatedly pressured me to undergo another ultrasound-guided IV placement. I respectfully declined, but I was asked again and again despite my answer. By the fourth time I said no, the nurse responded with noticeable attitude before leaving the room. As a patient, I felt that my decision was not being respected and I was being marginalized. I understand that emergency departments are busy and stressful, but kindness, professionalism, and respect for a patient's choices should never be optional. Patients come to the ER feeling scared, vulnerable, and in need of compassionate care. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, patient care, and respect for patient autonomy so others receive the compassion and dignity every patient deserves.

Dr. Bergin and her staff are absolutely fantastic…read more I was seen promptly, but I didn't feel at all rushed when I was with the doctor or her staff. They took the time to conduct a proper examination, which is sadly infrequent these days. They explained everything very well and just at the right level of detail without being at all condescending like some doctors are. They consulted me on every aspect of my care, including whether or not I wanted a brace or medication. They also told me up-front that my insurance may not cover the brace they offered. They're all highly knowledgeable about their specialization. All the resources and information offered to me are incredibly helpful. I deeply appreciated the level of respect and kindness with which they treated me. It's nice to feel like a real person at a doctor's office and to walk out happy and confident that I've had a quality medical experience. In all, I left an hour after I went in, and that's including the wait at the on-site pharmacy for my prescription. I highly recommend Dr. Bergin and her staff.

Her care is thorough, her advice is personal to my lifestyle and goals, she treated me with the best possible diagnostic and treatment according to my ability to afford them. She is professional and serious about her care and at the same time, I end up laughing and smiling at almost every visit. I am someone who can get upset at bad medical news or complicated diagnoses and I feel relaxed and open to her conclusions and plans of action, because I know by now it's going to work. I am 50 and I work at a physical job and I count on her to keep my body running smoothly despite several different long term repetitive injuries, acute horse-related accidents, arthritis and more. I am grateful to her and Texas Orthopedics for providing such great turn key services.... and I've never waited more than 10 minutes for my turn. She has treated and helped each member of my family. I recommend her to every person I know who needs an orthopedic doctor. Go see her because she cares deeply about helping in every way she can. She gives 110%. I can't ask for more than that. 10 STARS!
