If you ever have a problem with your computer, you will be happy you called this business. I have a Dell desktop and although it is relatively new, for several months I have been having problem with it just randomly shutting down. I'm out of the service contract with Dell and just felt they wouldn't be much help. I preferred someone who could look at and analyze my system. But I work from home and constantly on the computer, I really was hoping to get someone who could come out. I was able to speak to Lindsey over the phone and get an appointment for the next day. I blocked off several hours hoping to get an answer. Lindsey arrived on time and brought her own equipment. I explained my problem and right away she went to work going through some of the basics with the computer to ensure everything was working as it should be and no viruses. Once that was all finished, she did more diagnostics, letting me know everything she was doing as she was doing it. In the end, she made some adjustments that we both hoped would resolve my issue without having to replace any of the hardware. It has been only a few days since, but I would say for now my computer is running so much smoother and quieter and no issues with the computer shutting down. Again, it has only been a week, but even if I do experience the problem I was having again, at least Lindsey told me what the next step would be. This is one of those businesses you hope you never need, but if you are in need of any repairs to your computer, Lindsey is extremely knowledgeable, quick, explains everything and having someone come to you and do the work right there is well worth it. read more

I would give 0 if I could. My laptop's screen was flickering. I contacted Austin Mobile repair for help. But before looking at my laptop, Lindsey told me she was very sure it would be the screen issue. So I purchased a new screen and she replaced it. After replacing the screen, the flickering got worse. She said it was not the screen issue, the wire needed to be replaced. Then she replaced the wire and then the screen is not usable at all, it is flashing and hurting my eyes. Them she said the mother board needs to be replaced. At this moment I don't trust her anymore. If you can't fix a problem, at least do not make it worse. My laptop was not perfect but still usable before her repair. But after that I have to connect my laptop to a monitor in order to use it. Also it is very unlikely to get call back from them. I would give Lindsey lower than 1 star if I could. Back on May 4, she picked up my hard drive in the hopes of restoring it after a crash. After her not returning my calls, not answering my email I finally got her to bring it back on 7.19. She wasn't able to restore it and I don't fault her for that but the very unprofessional way she ignored my plea's shows how very unprofessional and untrustworthy she is. All the reviews talk about Ryan (1-2 about Lindsey) If she had been upfront saying she couldn't restore it and returned it sooner, I could have tried another company that might have had more powerful software. Now 3 months later, I am going to take the hard drive to another company to see if they can restore it. I did ask Lindsey what program she uses to restore hard drives so that I could pass on the info but true to form she ignored the request. I don't know her qualifications other than she probably worked with her husband and feels she is knowledgeable but having honor and integrity she sure did miss the boat. read more

Well despite a friendly start saying their work would be done in at most two days, I'm a week in, and they stopped responding about 4 days ago, so I'm assuming all the paid for plastic reviews here are fake and they're just thieves . They have a nice shiny front but every social media outlet has a different address affiliated, one is an apartment complex, another is a shopping center with no unit number, and their website is pinged at some random storage unit. This business is a scam. They originally were very quick with responses and came to our home to pick up my husband's laptop. We were told that they could not locate the problem with the screen after two attempts with new screens. They asked for more time and blamed personal issues (like picking kids up from daycare) for their lack of timeliness. Two months have passed and we call weekly, but our calls are not answered and our voicemails are not returned. They stole my husband's laptop and now we have to call the cops to pursue charges. (1 wanted everything to work perfectly and didn't mind paying him for his time to just be there should something not work as it had before the data migration) He seriously knew his stuff. Ms. Bowers knows my computer is there and showed me pictures of it but has not responded to any of my requests since January. Do not do business with this company. I had a screen that needed to be repaired because the hinges broke on my laptop. The told me that the hinges we not repairable, but they replaced the screen anyway. I asked to have the laptop returned to the condition that they received and they informed that it would cost even more to undo their work. In order to get my still broken laptop back, they made me pay them $265 cash. Bottom line: spent $265 to get a laptop back in the same shape. Never again. read more

Realizing people & businesses go through rough times, I tried hard to give this business ample opportunity to repair my PC, but they didn't, it's as simple as that. The owner, Lindsay, I'm guessing, had my personal computer NINE DAYS, and never ONCE notified me by phone or email or text message concerning the status of the repair. I had to call her phone representative, Debra, at least four times, and have her relay messages to Lindsay, and even those attempts resulted in practically no information other than to inform me Lindsay got sick, and then stopped her repair work to go pick up her kids from school when she felt better. This is how a professional business works ?? The only thing this business did correctly, was return my PC - unrepaired - with no thanks after NINE days. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I worked with a guy named Tommie Bennett. I asked him to see if he could recover data from the HD which had crashed. He asked if he could take the computer to work on it and I agreed. Two days later...did not recover anything. Replaced the HD and charged me $325! The guys at the Mac store said it should cost about $60 to replace the HD and take a few minutes. The computer's only worth $450 at most. RIP OFF STAY AWAY read more

I am so so thankful for Ryan! My computer crashed Labor Day weekend. I called him on a Sunday, he was at my house within an hour. I told him I needed my computer back within a day because 1) I had to get important information to someone and 2) I would be traveling for the next few weeks and wouldn't be able to address the issue until I got back, which would have been too late. Because of the way my computer crashed he had to take it over night. The next day he arrived with it fully fixed, saved all of my files and gave me excellent tips on how to keep my computer safe. Ryan was great. He picked up my hard drive at my house and was on time which is very important when you have busy schedule. Unfortunately, my hard drive was very bad off so he wasn't able to repair it but he sent me in the right direction....and best of all, he didn't even charge me for testing it out. He did more than most companies that just try to hook it up to another computer....like Office Depot, etc...Very nice and reliable.
