Unlike the other services I had called Brent said that he would call back within 30 minutes with instructions, and that the final cost would be around $100 (final cost was $99). Over the next 2 hours Brent patiently walked me through his remote procedure, unfazed by the fact that he had to work around my PC configuration, and unperturbed when my labtop died because it ran out of charge. At the end all the files were recovered. And though some were unusable because they were overwritten the very fact that some they were recoverable greatly lifted my mood. They asked what I could afford and accepted $500 for the data recovery. This part was great. At least I was able to get some data recovered. However, the drive that they sent back no longer boots ups. I STILL HAD DATA ON THAT DRIVE THAT WAS NOT DELETED THAT I NEED !!!!! I can no longer access any of my other business files that were not affected by my earlier mistake. Fortunately, all my data was recovered. After my laptop was returned, I found out that the motherboard on my laptop had failed and was likely the root cause of my issues.
