I am an engineer, so I can be a very demanding customer. I had a very difficult repair/reconfigure issue in my Austin City Lofts Condo, with extremely narrow clearances on my dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. I was nearly convinced that there was no way to solve it, and resigned to a very expensive rebuild of the kitchen with new cabinets, when a fellow Condo owner recommended Austin Hardin with Austin Nails it. Austin was able to devise a solution that allowed me to keep my current cabinets and dishwasher, which I had not believed possible. Moreover, the work he did to reconfigure and install the stove and refrigerator was absolutely top notch with an extremely clean and professional job. I could not have asked for better work. While it was not cheap, the fees were very reasonable, and as they say, you get what you pay for. I hired Austin to make my door open on the other side as the current setup was not working with the design of my dinning area. Austin took measurements and pics and got back to me with a quote within a few days. The quote was very detailed and comprehensive. He did a great job on the project, the door looks amazing and he left the area very clean, like this huge project never happened. He is talented and professional. He also has a great demeanor so he's easy to work with. I will be definitely be calling him back for other tasks the hubby doesn't have experience on or time to do. Austin has helped us numerous times and we will continue to call him for all handyman services. Austin installed our portable air conditioner in the sunroom. He took the extra care and time to help us with the research for which air conditioner would work best and then to make a space for the ventilation that looked good in the space. While he was working we were out of town and we found out we had a leak in the room. He worked as our contractor to get a roofer and got it fixed right away. We totally trusted him with the process and were very happy with how he took care of the situation for us. We have other jobs for him and he has provided us with a detailed quote which demonstrates how he goes the extra mile to research and suggest ideas for us to think about.
