Ben the owner was incredibly easy to work with and made coordinating the quotes between 3 different houses sharing common fences very simple. Ben was very accommodating as we worked though multiple rounds of revisions to the quotes due to new requirements from the various houses. He quickly made the updates and got the revised quotes sent out. From a customer service and price standpoint, Good Neighbors Fence was easily the best of the 3 companies we requested quotes from. As for the quality of the fence, we could not be happier. Ben was on-site at least once or twice a day to supervise the crew throughout the 3 day installation. The actual crew was very professional and completed all the work with good attention to detail. They did a fantastic job keeping the work site clean throughout the day, and always made sure everything was orgainized before they left for the day. As always there were a few very minor details to be addressed on the final walk-through, but each item was quickly resolved by the team with a smile. The team really did make an effort to ensure everything was done to their high standards. I have already recommended Good Neighbors Fence ATX to our friends who are looking to get some fencing installed.

We couldn't install a parking structure because of the narrowness of the lot. Making an appointment is easy. They came out to do an estimate, drew up the plans, and got us on the schedule for the following week. Communication was prompt and friendly. Installation took two days, one to dig the holes and insert the poles, and another to install the shade itself (both processes are very fast, but I think the concrete needs time to cure). After talking to a few pest companies, not only did they get the species of ants wrong (acrobat vs carpenter) which affects the bait being used, but they also can't get their story straight. I contacted them about an ant infestation inside my home. The technician who came out placed sugar bait inside to eliminate colony. He told me that an exterior treatment was not necessary at that time. I accepted that recommendation, due to potential exposure for my active dog. Months later, I called to follow up because the ant problem had not been resolved. I was then told the $216.50 treatment of simply adding sugar bait for the interior also included exterior treatment during the original visit. That was surprising because I was never told an exterior treatment had been done. When I asked where it had been applied, they did not give me a clear answer regarding the exterior. Paying for another treatment isn't the issue. If the ants require another visit, I'm happy to pay for it. My concern is that the explanation of what was actually done has changed. Now, they're saying I have to pay another $216 for their services again. Something just isn't adding up. If there's a reasonable explanation, I'd like to hear it. Based on the conflicting information, I have little confidence in their service.

Travis worked with us to design a drought-tolerant landscape with a combination of astroturf and xeriscape, as well as limestone paver walkways with black granite and black steel edging to go with the aesthetics of our modern ranch. Our third party inspector noted that many landscape companies do not weld the steel edging to the stakes, but Travis's crew welded all of the connections and the steel seems thicker than what we had at our previous home. We chose Thrive because of other Google reviews combined with our interactions with Travis during the quote and design process. We found the same to be true as other reviewers, which was his crew was very positive, helpful, energetic, and some of the hardest workers on our project. They were the first to arrive in the morning, worked hard and fast all day, and stayed often until dark. We truly appreciated the hustle, and the quality and beauty of the finished product and would not hesitate recommending Thrive to anyone in need of landscape services.

We are very impressed with the custom work that Austin Pergola Co and Austin Deck Co were able to do for us! This Garapa hardwood deck and Cedar pergola are the center pieces for our whole backyard renovation project, and these guys nailed it. Unlike other companies I spoke with, they were really open to reviewing design specs of my larger plan and to help fine-hone the design based on some additional specifications. With the small space, I was very insistent on utilizing a special hardwood decking that required extra procurement and installation time. The pricing was transparent and even with the custom deck work, they were able to fairly work out a price with me. The builders did an excellent job working with me to discuss and align on the final mounting design with the custom bracket to allow for gutter installation and a clean mount to the roof. We decided to do the final stain ourselves as I have a favorite product that I've worked with before - a must for a high quality wood product such as this! This year with the addition of our outdoor kitchen, I wouldn't have had any other do the job for the second pergola! It's a perfect match and went from the original (which was 4 posts and angled) to 1 post tied into my facia above our home! They match perfect and look AMAZING! Both were done within a day, then Justin allowed me to hire my stain company to come in and stain prior to attaching the UV roofing! The site was a little tricky and came with its fair share of challenges, but the team did a wonderful job of navigating the difficulties, and we can now enjoy the beautiful addition to our yard. So we wanted to get a pergola and decided to go with Austin Pergola. I like that they have a calculator to get an estimate online. Granted it's just for a standard pergola but it gave us an idea on what it would cost. They came out to the house and took measurements and talked to us about what we wanted and what options we could do. We ended up attaching it to the house and added some cross boards on top. They came out a few days later when they had an opening in their schedule and the project took about a day to complete. It turned out excellent and we love it. It has basically added another room to the house and we enjoy hanging outside in the backyard. read more
