I finished a bathroom remodel with Koren and Daniel in March 2025. The process of getting there was painful in terms of communication and steering, but at least the shiny new bathroom they initially delivered was not bad. However, in September 2025 the shower tiles started popping out of the floor. I texted them and they had to come in and replace it. Okay maybe it was a one-off. But then less than a year later, by April 2026 the *replaced* tiles started popping out again. I tried dealing with it myself with tile glue, but other tiles kept popping out. I texted them again in August, and this time they said that they stand behind their work for only one year from the original project date, and I need to pay $1200 if I want them to fix it. Notice that it hasn't been 1 year even from the replacement date. It's really not worth it. Go with the slightly more expensive contractor they will do the job right once and for all.

I called Juan to see what our options were for making it more attractive and usable. He came out the next day to have a look and recommended capping the existing concrete as the quickest and most affordable option. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but he had good suggestions for improving the look, the leveling, and drainage which was also important for us. He and his crew came out the next week and finished the job in a day. It looks great (we get compliments), it's all usable space now and it drains much better. I'd give five stars, but he left his blower at home and so left our furniture and other things covered in concrete dust from a little demo they had to do. That said, I would recommend you get a quote from Juan if you need concrete work.

One example that really stood out: we had a 60-inch, ~300 lb stone tub that needed to fit into a tight space. Agustin and his team reworked the walls to make it fit properly, something that could have easily gone wrong with another wrong contractor. They handled it with precision and confidence, and the end result was exactly what we wanted. His crew was extremely hardworking, always on time, willing to stay late when needed, and they consistently cleaned up at the end of each day. The entire project moved efficiently because Agustin has a strong, coordinated team, including a plumber and a tiler, which kept everything on track without delays. Communication was clear throughout the process, and we always knew what was happening and what to expect next. While I had a basic idea of what I wanted, I debated getting a formal project manager to handle coordination of the full install. With a ton of experience doing this kind of install, Marcus helped out so much that I was pretty much able to handle coordination of the main pieces and personnel without needing to hire anyone else. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

This was my first major remodel, so I don't really have anything to compare with. The nits I experienced were pretty minor and probably typical for a job this scale. I found Jose thru Yelp after verifying his other reviews were from real people and not AI generated. I had initially gotten quotes from several of the bathroom remodelers that advertise on TV and experienced sticker shock. One of them turned out to do only the wet area - I would have had to get someone else for the floors, cabinets, painting, etc. Their quote for just the shower area ended up being about what I paid Jose for the entire job. Another of the TV advertisers could do everything I wanted, but their quote was almost 3x what Jose quoted! Yes, they could do it in 2-3 days, but is that worth 3x the cost? One of the first nits I experienced was that Jose didn't tell me the whole master bedroom would be sealed off during the project. Not that big a deal, but I wish I'd known that in advance. They got the demo completed the first day. One of the more time-consuming parts was removing the old wallpaper, which seemed to take about 2 days (the old walls were completely papered). His crew foreman Javier is a master craftsman. I learned pretty quickly to trust his experience. When I had initially seen the tile backer boards installed for the shower, I thought they had forgotten the niche shelf I'd requested. He explained that goes in last. One of the other nits I experienced was that I had to buy a lot of the supplies myself. I would have much preferred just pointing to stuff in a catalog, and Jose go buy them. The biggest problem with that was the grout. I trusted the tile shop's recommendation on grout, and when I delivered it to Javier, he said that stuff is no good. He explained that since it has silicone, it constantly outgasses and leaves a film on the tile. I went online and saw some other reviews with the same comments, so that reinforced my decision to trust what he was doing. Similar experience with the safety grab bars. I just bought some from Amazon, which came with cheap nylon screw locks. Seemed pretty flimsy should you have to actually use them to prevent a fall. Javier was able to use drywall anchors to securely lock them in place. The last nit was the cabinet installation. They were in such a rush to finish the cabinets that the toilet hadn't even been installed. Since I switched to an elongated ADA style toilet, it turned out the medicine cabinet above the toilet could no longer be reached at the old one's height. They had to come back and lower it 4 inches. Again, an easy correction, but would have been unnecessary if they had put the new toilet in first. Jose's crew finished up in 2 weeks, but it was another week before the glass shower doors and mirror showed up to be installed. Anyway, they finally went in today, and I am very happy with the end results. My neighbor had his bath redone last year, and comparing Jose's work to my neighbor's handyman, Jose is miles ahead. I finally know what "Schluter" is. My neighbor doesn't have it, so there are sharp tile edges everywhere! Jose Robles Remodeling will definitely be in the running to do my other 2 bathrooms.

So I didn't want to waste their time again. Their technology use is pretty awesome and respectfully as a IT guy I appreciate how it makes billing simple and easy. Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

Amanda was extremely responsive and helped us scope out our initial ask to coordinate an onsite bid walk quickly and helped sort out billing. Travis helped develop our initial concept for a gate into an efficient, turn-key solution that would abide by local codes and fit within our budget. After clarifying our scope, the project was completed at a lightning pace. They staggered the required demo of our old fence until the day they'd be able to erect the fencing to minimize the amount of time our house was exposed to the street. The work crews were very professional and Travis and his team clearly explained the scope each day and progress updates. In addition, Cade and the gate operator crew were outstanding. They set up the motor and made sure all items were functional tested. They did a terrific job commissioning the equipment and explaining how to use it. The commissioning team also noted that our gate operator had a minor issue and contacted the manufacturer for a same-day under warranty solution. The level of service was outstanding, and I was very pleased to have a total turnkey solution. During the construction, Travis would check in with the teams and ensure quality work which resulted in zero punch items at final walk. Travis even performed a final QA check on the operator to make sure operation was up to their quality standard. Every team member was very knowledgeable and professional. After meeting with Garret, I was so impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of fencing, that I was feeling good about his vision. Similar to what other reviewers have mentioned, the estimate for Campbell's was extremely affordable, and significantly below other estimates and anecdotal knowledge from my friends who have recently had similar work done installing fences around their homes. The work was completed according to the original timeline, and Garret coordinated with my other two neighbors on their shared costs, so I didn't have to worry about collecting their payments, etc. With so many options available for fence installation, I hope this review saves others some unnecessary research -- the other reviews for Campbell's are accurate, as these guys do quality work, on-time, and very price-competitive. The great customer service from Garret just added another benefit of giving my business to Campbell's! I'm looking forward to working with Campbell's on also adding a sealant / stain to complete the beautiful new addition to my house.

Outstanding craftsmanship and thoughtful design on a complex, 2-story, rain-proof deck. We wanted decks accessible from each of two stories and the top deck to be impervious to rain to enable the lower deck to be dry. We live on the side of a hill, so our decks would have to rise up about 10 feet extra. Our existing deck had failed due to leaks in the top deck and would have to be removed from the back of the house. I called several Austin deck builders and found only a single contractor, AOLG, who was able and willing to tackle such a complicated project. Noelalee Ragle, the company owner, was very valuable during the design process, helping my wife and I think through the many design options. For example, the old deck was 11 feet deep, making for a spacious balcony, but not much else. Noalee explained that a 14 feet deep deck would turn the space into a gracious living space with pleasant seating, dining, and traffic patterns. Noalee also helped us avoid building code issues. For example, we originally hoped to reuse supporting posts from the old deck. Noalee pointed out that the old wood posts would not pass inspection because decks over 14 feet off the ground require steel posts. Finally, Noalee made several critical aesthetic recommendations, such as color combinations, railing systems, and lighting. Noelalee has substantial experience in these areas and, in hindsight, her suggestions proved to be excellent. When the deck was finished (about 2 months ago at the time of writing this review), we fell in love with it. The top rain deck was a complex construction project all on its own. It required 5 different levels. One to make the ceiling of the lower deck flat, a second to provide the sloping foundation joists for the top deck, a third to make a sloping rain-proof deck, a fourth to make the flat foundation for the top deck, and finally, a fifth for the top deck decking. Jeff is AOLG's master carpenter, and he showed his stuff building our deck, especially the rain deck. I am a decent amateur carpenter and have built many decks on past homes. But watching Jeff and team work on building such a complicated structure 20 feet off the ground was awe-inspiring and made me grateful that I didn't try doing this deck myself. For example, figuring the angles of all the sloping pieces and building to those specs while working off really high ladders required master-level nerve and skill. We used Timbertech Legacy composite decking and are very pleased with its look and feel. Comfortable on bare feet when not in direct sun, it has a modest amount of fine-grain texture that makes it non-slippery when wet. After two months of living with it, we have found it super easy to keep clean, mainly just sweeping it with a broom. So far we haven't had much trouble with the decking getting scratched. All our deck furniture has plastic protectors on their legs, a must for composite decking. AOLG took care of all of the Austin permitting issues, including final close-out. Austin building inspectors did find a few small things that needed remedies (as the homeowner, I appreciated the inspections). In addition, I had a few concerns about painting and evenness of the decking. AOLG resolved all of these issues in less than 10 days. A caution on expectations about the length of the project. Applying for permits and getting and passing inspections plus weather delays resulted in the job taking about six months, of which active construction was probably only two months. Our job was pretty complex, but you may need to be patient even with simpler jobs. Noelalee kept us informed throughout the entire job via phone, email, and texting, so we were able to adjust our plans and expectations. Overall, my wife and I were extremely happy with the beautiful deck that AOLG built for use and are huge fans of the company, as deck designers and builders, and as business people with integrity. Can I rate 7 stars? Noelalee and Ralph and their crew were absolutely incredible. My wife and I wanted to do a large outdoor covered patio, kitchen, and pergola. We had 4 companies come out for estimates and AOLG was far and above all the other companies in references, samples of their work, and time spent with us discussing what we wanted and what would work and look great in our space. She was very hands on and spent a lot of time to make sure we knew what we were getting and how it would look. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and have recommended Noelaee to multiple other friends and they too had the exact same incredible experience. The details and workmanship are top notch. I don't know how to express the difference Noelalee and Ralph have made in my life. We had a unusable backyard of rock and dirt. Noelalee designed a gorgeous deck nestled amongst the trees. The team (Carl, William, Artie, Julio and the team...) have been overall very helpful - responsive, attentive, reasonable, and flexible...and the projects have all turned out very nice! Carl is the numbers guy, William is the PM/building guy and together they make a good team. We had to work through a lot of details especially with the addition (permitting, pouring foundation, etc.) and the team was helpful and patient throughout. When we encountered some challenging issues with the siding project (demo from the siding caused minor interior damage and an exterior hose spigot was accidentally cut), the team resolved the issues appropriately. The workers try to be careful but unexpected things happen and the team/William were quick to fix things! I highly recommend this company to use for projects like custom sheds but also larger projects like patios, additions and even exterior projects like siding!

It is obvious that the team works hard to all stay on the same page to avoid miscommunications. They were great with making adjustments as the project required and quickly addressing any concerns we had. As they were doing the bathroom remodel and installing new exhaust systems, they noticed that our current exhaust system was dumping all the humid air from the bathroom into the attic (instead of routing it outside). We did not know this was happening. They corrected the issue for us, which we are very grateful for. They are not the cheapest but they also work to take the extra steps to ensure satisfaction in the project which goes a long way. Renovations are stressful but working with them made the entire process a lot more smooth and took away a ton of the stress.

We received a quote by the end of the day and waited a few weeks for actual measurements of our counter and backsplash space for replacement. Waited another few weeks to have them start demo on a Tuesday to disconnect stove, water, sink and dishwasher, and waited til Friday for installation of counters. Was originally planned for Thursday but due to miscommunication I wasted a full Thursday waiting to find out no one was coming. Came the following week to do backsplash and complete the job. For future reference, I would get an estimated timeframe from start to finish. Scheduling and communication seemed to lack and had difficulty trying to make my personal plans around them so I basically couldn't plan ahead for anything for 1 1/2 weeks. When I mentioned this to my sales associate he was very specific of a 3-4 day start/finish that was never mentioned to us, nor estimated in our contract. Well, we were way over their timeframe based on the wait time of scheduling. Since we had to go without sink water since Tuesday, a plumber came out Saturday to reconnect sink, stove and dishwasher for the weekend until completion the following week. I feel that the daily teams did a great job however I feel that my associate person could have given everything a thorough inspection, especially on completion day. Pictures and admiration does not pass as a full inspection. We ended up not having silicone caulk between the counters and backsplash therefore the grout was cracking, there were some quartz blemishes that needed touch up, electrical outlets were having problems, etc. and I had to make my own punch list for followup which again was not reinspected by my associate. So for over a two week period the job from start to finish was complete. I ended up caulking the counter to backsplash since nothing was scheduled, it was always next week.....not a scheduled day. I surrendered. Before this begun, full payment was done therefore I felt that they were done with us and left it at that. I still gave them 4 stars being that 90% of the job was done good by the assigned teams.

Sean and the team that did my primary bathroom remodel specifically were both artisans and artists. Jake's work estimate came in tens of thousands of dollars lower than competing bids. And what's more, he was able to give me a verbal, on-the-spot estimate that matched the paper estimate I received by email a few days later. Other providers took many days to give me their estimates and offered large ranges that could've busted my budget on the high end. Jake was able to complete a project in 6 weeks that other remodelers told us would take 3 or 4 months. And our house looks beautiful and is everything we wanted, with new floors, stairwells, paint, and three updated bathrooms. Secondly, Ace Remodeling sources materials for their clients at cost and takes no markup. This is unlike the other remodelers who charge up to 30% markup for materials. This also kept our costs down. Finally, Jake and Ace Remodeling take their warranty very seriously. When a plumbing issue caused some water damage after the project was done, Ace was onsite the next day to fix the issue and covered the costs of the emergency leak service, cleaning and restoration of the drywall. If ever I need home remodeling again, I will be calling Jake Rose--and probably no one else!

One was privacy, on front, ours was iron on front and it's about an acre the had to fence off on 3 sides with chain link & the other neighbor only had the posts put in because our ground apparently is not made of dirt, just rock and unlike us, that neighbor has some great carpentry skills. We also had several stone columns. The masonry guys came on the date scheduled & on time. We were amazed at how quickly they went up. Employees were very nice & gave us our privacy. No slacking off. Very respectful. It was near the holidays so it took a little while before the front went up. went But they also had to order additional parts for a change our neighbor made. They came earlier than scheduled. Those employees were also great. Never saw them even turn to look at our home as they walked back and forth through the back (our many windows have no curtains). They came on time, never saw them slack off. I don't think I even saw them leave for lunch. When they were done for the day, they cleaned up. The foreman even noticed some materials we didn't order that would help keep the fence from moving around. So it was ordered & they installed same day. Not only that, the only winter day we had in texas happened to be the last day they had to finish. He asked if they coukd work on sunday & we said of course. But he told us they might wait until winter was over, on Monday. But the next day on Sunday, when it was crazy cold, they showed up and by the end of the day they were done! Foreman came to ask if it was all good. And then they left on their merry way. Our emails with questions were answered promptly and usually the same day. The fence looked great. A couple weeks later, maybe earlier, we received another email to check in on us & find out if there was anything that we needed. Highly recommend.

I'm writing this review for my overall experience dealing with Northwest Fence & Iron and not for…read morethe finished product. Everything went fairly smoothly up until the day of the installation of my iron fence surrounding my home. A few days prior to the scheduled installation, I asked the representative if there would be someone supervising the installation who speaks fluent English. He said there wouldn't be anyone supervising because his wife was scheduled to go into labor on that day. He reassured me there would be no issues and the workers would know EXACTLY what they needed to do. I reiterated to him how important it is they install the iron fence low enough to prevent my dog from digging a hole escaping. I reluctantly agreed to proceed with the installation based on his reassurances. The day of the installation, the workers showed up at my door and the first thing one of the workers did was hand me a cell ph and someone with Northwest told me, "Can you tell them where to install the fence" I told him I already went over all this with my rep and I do not feel confident communicating with workers who do not speak English. I ended the call and immediately called the rep and told him that someone needs to get down here and communicate everything we had already went over. The rep came down and told the workers where to install everything. I asked him who I should contact at the office if there is a problem and reminded him what he told me about the workers knowing exactly what they need to do. He responded by saying, "I thought it wasn't an issue to you that they don't speak English?" This was NOT what I stated and told him I only agreed to allow the installation to proceed because of his reassurance they would not need any additional guidance during the installation. Sure enough, after they got started prepping the ground and installing the fence, the gate was being installed too high, leaving a large gap at the bottom, and I tried to communicate this with the workers with no luck. I told the workers to stop completely and, at this point, I was really starting to lose my patience. I immediately called the Northwest office and told them the fence was being installed too high from the ground and how they needed to send someone over immediately or I would be sending the workers away for the day. They sent someone down about 30 minutes later and he communicated with the workers, the proper way to install the fence. I asked the supervisor to stick around to ensure there were no more issues. They 'completed' the installation and they had forgotten to attach adhesive to the caps on the fence posts as well as failing to install the latch on the side gate. They had to return two separate times, requiring me to take time out of my day to be here, to complete the gate lock installation and attach the caps properly. I also started finding pieces of sharp metal in my lawn they failed to clean up which posed a major safety hazard for our family and dog. All of this nonsense could have been avoided if the representative assigned to my project would have scheduled the installation at a time when he could have been present to supervise and inspect the work being done by the subcontractors they hired...
