Dr. Aiken was patient, personable, kind and took the time to listen and answer every one of my questions-- even the random ones. He's not my regular PCP, but he came in knowing my history because he took the time to read my chart before seeing me-- this is not often my experience. My lab results came back quickly and he provided detailed feedback. I appreciated his care and that of the entire team I saw today. This was a great place to start my families health journey. I live in central north Austin area and they have many many locations. No more urgent care visits or smelly lobby rooms. My appointment was cancelled 30 mins before my scheduled appointment and the next appointment wasn't until 4 weeks later. I can't believe I had to wait that long for another appointment when the doctor cancelled. I had indicated that this was urgent as I needed my meds adjusted as I'm having issues breathing. I had to ask the rep if there weee other appointments the same day. Fortunately, there was a spot in urgent care in Austin. It's ridiculous to have to book another appointment 4 weeks out. There seems to be no empathy for patience here. I'll be looking for a new doctor/hospital. read more

ATTENTION ARC CEO: This review is for you. Me & my family are loyal patients of ARC & have been for maaaaany years so I can't tell you how excited I was for the new ARC location in Manor, TX to open up...even though we live in Austin my 3 kids attend school in Manor so this new location for sure would be an added bonus for us. So with it being funky flu season I took my son to get his flu shot which meant I finally got a chance to check out the new location :)) & while the clinic is pretty & new the lobby waiting room is way to SMALL!! And there is no "well area" for those patients who are not sick so I can't tell you how AWARE I was sitting in the lobby w/ those around me & my child who were sick..yes, they are supposed to wear masks but not all waiting patients do that. Even if no one waiting in the lobby is sick & we just happen to all be there for our annual physicals (because we Manor peeps are cool like that) the chairs are just way to close for my comfort.. I could literally touch those next to me..on the side of me..and behind me. I mean I'm friendly but not that friendly! This location for sure could use additional space added to it. New patients are for sure going to keep this ARC location busy. Please know that I do love me some ARC & all that it offers to me & my family and I just thought this helpful feedback should get to those in charge! Disappointed with the way they handled the separation of the best doctor i have had in years I have a very special and complicated case and when the case manager called me to explain something to me after dr Champlain left they had no idea. Dr Champlain went above and beyond she took care of my whole family when others were bias and made rude. She treated us with humanity and treated my condition she treated me. I will follow her. Arc you have disappointed me so much. I am disheartened. After your ale doctor was rude to my daughter because of his own bias dr Champlain salvaged the relationship. read more

While I was a patient of Dr Champlain's, I put up with all of the problems I had with the clinic. However, now that they managed to get rid of her, I have no reason to do so any more. My biggest problem is that whoever handles prescription refills just doesn't. I came to dread refills -- the policy is that you have your pharmacy call the clinic, not vice versa, but over and over I've been told by the pharmacy that when they called, they never got a response from the clinic. I tried again to get a needed med (which still had one refill left) over the past week with the usual results, so I sent them a MyChart message -- while I could see that the msg had been reviewed at least twice the day after I sent it, I received NO communication back from them, not even a note in MyChart. How hard can this be? The only thing the Manor clinic has to recommend itself now is the phlebotomist, who does stellar work. I never felt the needle when he drew blood, and he's also a very pleasant person. read more

I had been driving 45 min out of my way to see Dr Champlain and I had been trying to make a follow up appointment on the app, since my medications have no more refills and there were zero time slots, then trying to message her and she was removed as my primary. Confused, I finally called and was told she was no longer there. I never received any notice, umm what? Extremely unprofessional ARC, I have (like many others) prescriptions that can't just be stopped. Not only that, when I was on the phone with the operator they had zero care that I now had no doctor and they seemed stunned I didn't want to just book with someone else- that's just not how I do things...I searched high and low for a good doctor that took my insurance and because she was so amazing I continued my care with her even now that I no longer have insurance- so no I don't want to just see another doctor without any notice and research. read more

Ridiculous wait times just to talk to ANYONE at the actual location. Usually its' faster for me to physically drive to their office from my home in Elgin just to talk to someone. I went in personally last week and requested a statement of health for my daughter so she could start daycare and they told me a nurse would have to call me that day or the next. I waited and waited and now it's a full week later and no call. Now I'm on hold for over 40 minutes just waiting to follow up about this. WHO HAS TIME FOR THIS? Dr. Champlain was the best doctor I ever had. When I went to her everything was taken care of and done professionally and efficiently. Since she has left it is like this place has gone downhill. I resent having to hound someone for a refill. I had a check up where usually, for the 7 years I have been going here, my refills were renewed. They were not this time & not for the first time in a span of a few weeks I am having to send messages and beg for my medicine. Both times having just been in for an office visit & having had blood work current there is no reason for this. The last message was asking me to list all my medications which are in the computer system and I have been on for years, not to mention I just went over it in my visit last week. I also, in 7 years, have never once had to do something so ridiculous. *Dr. Benun was great with my son as well and I have no idea why he left but this location lost two great doctors.. read more

My husband went for checkup and prescription refill in November. His one medication he really needs every day was supposed to be on a six month refill cycle as it always was with Dr. Champlain. He has had to call every month to get a refill approved and now he has had no refills for almost 3 weeks. ARC Manor said he had to schedule another appointment to get refills. Not acceptable as he is not supposed to just stop the medication because of possible withdrawals. We won't be going back to ARC Manor. They should have refilled his prescription until he could get an appointment. Shame on you. read more

My friend experienced a very tragic death in her family and had to get her young son's second vaccine ASAP so they could get to California for the arrangements. Between the young ladies who answered the phone and the clinic manager, they ALL went above and beyond to allow and help me as a friend to collect necessary documentation and schedule a same day appointment. I wish I were able to remember all of their names to thank them personally, but I hope they remember this situation because they made things a little easier for a distraught family. Everyone here is very welcoming. I see Dr.Hunt as my primary doctor. She is extremely warm and comforting, and she conducted the proper test to finally diagnose me. ( I have seen multiple doctors for about 3 years and no one ever figured out what caused my health issues). I am grateful that this place is also so close to home. read more

We started taking our kids here when our pediatrician moved further south. He suggested we transfer to Dr. Benun here in Manor, and he's been great! The kids like him, he takes the time to get to know families, and the appointments run on time. Dr. Jessica Champlain at ARC Manor is an approachable, caring, straightforward, gentle, personable, kind physician with a great sense of humor and, more importantly, a great bedside manner. She listens to all of my concerns, doesn't make me feel rushed, gives real and insightful treatment plans, and took the time to get to know me. I was hesitant to go to such a small satellite clinic once I moved to Manor, and I have only rarely affiliated with ARC, but all of my healthcare needs are met at this clinic, and the staff are just as kind and caring. Dr. Farron Hunt has shown a complete lack of empathy and been more than unhelpful, to the point of near hindering, my search for a diagnosis. Every single time I have gone to her my concerns and symptoms are dismissed. When challenged for action or any answers she becomes defensive like a cornered animal and begins being condescending in subsequent answers. I will be getting a second opinion and I would suggest everyone to save their money for a doctor that cares for her patients. read more

I am saddened that Dr C. has been removed from the Manor Arc location with out informing her patient. She is a member of our community and so many of us feel she really cared about our health issues and concern. The service she provided was top notch not to mention she trurly cared about her patients. Her patients deserve to have a say in her departure because she was more than just a doctor to us. Removing a Doctor like Dr. C is devastating to her patient. Many of us have health problems that she understands and supports us in dealing with it and feeling better. What happens to us now? I have prescriptions that need to be refilled and can not wait until ARC gets it act together. You are putting many of us in jepordy and I am sure this is not the way it legally is done. We want our doctor C back in our community where she belongs. She is trusted and respected by those she served. We love you Dr. C!!!!!!!!!
