When I arrived there I had asked for someone who could give me a nice fade. I am quite particular about my hair, so when I was seated with this girl, I asked her again if she could do an AMAZING fade. She was honest and said she wasn't the best. So she looked over and asked Austin if he could get me in and help me out. He was supposed to get off work but decided to take me anyway. I have never left him since then and I do not plan on ever leaving. Not only is he a great barber and hair stylist, he is also a good man who likes to have a laugh and is very down-to-earth. First time seeing Austin was this morning. He's located within Salon Republic on the second floor of the Hermosa Pavilion that's on PCH. Easy to book an appointment via his web site. Great haircut... detailed, took his time, educated and very friendly and welcoming. Austin has a nice, little single seat suite. Beer available and nice flat screen TV mounted on the wall. $35 for haircut. Didn't shampoo and condition or rinse out but he has the ability too. Accepts credit cards. Parking is free in the parking garage attached to his bldg. It can be hard to find a spot though due to the gym and retail stores within Austin's bldg. He pretty much only does guy's haircuts.
