I just moved to the area and found a groupon for a Haircut and blowdry for Christopher David, and wanted to try out a salon before committing to a stylist. Got to say...I'm glad I did. The entire appointment was less than an hour. Which is quite uncanny because I have thick, long curly hair... fastest hair appointment I've ever had. The blow dry was rushed, poofy and terrible. My hair felt like straw when I left. I had mentioned to him that I was going to an event that evening and my hair turned out frizzy and dry. Guess you get what you pay for. This was my first time at this salon and had a haircut by Robert which to fair looks great, but he quoted me $30.00 for the cut which included a shampoo. Not only did he not shampoo my hair, but he charged me $55.00 because I asked him to blow dry my hair. To be fair, he did blow dry it somewhat into a scrunchy natural look, but I wanted it blown dry and said I would pay extra. I don't feel $25.00 to blow dry short hair is reasonable. read more
