I have been a client of Mia's for almost 10 years. Absolutely every single time I go in, I leave happy, confident, cared for and excited to show people the new cut or look. Mia is mindful of all of her clients and is in touch with them personally. Outside of her sheer artistic skill with color, her ability to connect with clients may be the most unique and special part of her work. She is also conscious of the products she uses and their impact on the environment or how they might interact with me (and others), staying up to date on the best to use. When she shares information about new products, it's out of pure excitement and not ever trying to push a sale. The products they use are cruelty free, paraben, sulfate, phosphate, etc.-free. I have eczema so I appreciate having her reliable insight and not have to do all this research on daily-use products! Personally, I have black, thin, wavy hair that I keep medium length. She has done balayage with me to get to nice chestnutty tones, at times ashier tones and knows how to frame those strands so there's something new to see every time I do my hair. This was our first time seeing Mia and she was kind from the very start with getting us an appt. when for good reason she is super booked! To texting back and forth in detail to set my daughters mind at ease, who has long and untouched hair to reminder texts leading to her appt. I would recommend Mia to anyone that wants to feel and look like a million bucks! The salon is small and quaint but there are big comfy chairs outside and lots of hallway space to walk around and chill, if you need to wait. This busy mom of 3 teens, got to catch up on phone calls and quiet time! So nice that she works beside her husband and adorable dog! My daughter is still smiling almost an hour later and said she feels like a different person and before the haircut and sitting with Mia she was having an awful day with school and left the salon, forgetting it all.
