This company did pretty well on sheet rock repair but the painting was sloppy and incomplete. They were messy as they thought it would be okay to scape off the popcorn ceiling and leave the damp, stinky material on the floor. We cleaned it after we were sneezing from the dust and smell. They did not even cover all the trim with paint or prep the surfaces. If you use these guys, be sure you really check for quality as you go. They offered to come back again to fix things but we decided we could do it ourselves. read more

We had a terrible leak from an a/c drain pipe that to get fixed the wall and part of the ceiling had been torn up. Ray's team fixed that giant hole in my wall, textured and re-painted. You would have no idea there was ever a problem. I was able to leave the painters in my house alone and felt comfortable about it. We will definitely be calling Ray again. read more

We wanted to get some accent walls painted, some cracks repaired and our kitchen cabinets restained. I contacted 5-6 contractors and Austin's Paint Guys was the contractor we chose based on their price, thorough communication and turnaround time. They did an incredible job and was even flexible in adding on additional work as we went along. They were even willing to work around other contractors we had at the house, which was very much appreciated! In the end, we love the work they did. It was immaculate. Their project manager, Jason, was great. He stopped by often to check on the quality of the work and to make sure I was satisfied with the work that was done. He even came at the very end to do some touch up work himself that he felt was sub-par although to my naked eye, it looked great. That's the quality of service you'll get with this company. Called a few painters to paint some iron railings on our back porch. Austin's Paint Guys wasn't the cheapest, but they were available soon. The first painting left a few unpainted spots so Jason had the painter come out to touch it up again. Then there were still unpainted spots so the painter came out another time. Ray and his crew did a wonderful job and I couldn't ask for more. I decided on Austin Paint Guys after contacting several other paint companies. Ray was the first to send me his quote, after telling them all I needed a ceiling repair and formal dining room painted within the week because we had wood flooring scheduled to be installed. He answers his phone and promptly responds to emails!!!! Dallas and the crew were very professional and polite and did an excellent job. They started on a Monday and the flooring was scheduled for Wednesday. It all worked out perfect and Ray was there several times checking progress and did a final walk through. Special thanks to Dallas too for going out of his way several times, like returning to add extra coats of paint to the front door. I spoke with Ray the owner of Austin's Paint Guys on a Thursday afternoon about my project. Ray and his team showed up Monday morning at the time he promised. He painted 4 rooms in my home with two different color paints. His team did an awesome job and was extremely clean and professional. Towards the end of the day, Ray added two additional painters to make sure the job was done before I got home! WOW!!! This was an outstanding experience and totally painless. I felt the price was very affordable for the amount of trim work and taping that had to be done. At the end of the day, it amounted to over 26 hours of labor that I did not have to do myself! Ok, these guys are called Paint Guys but we were given their name to re-do a leaking shower. Basically the entire shower needed torn out and replaced. Ray showed up on time but his estimate was over twice what it should have cost for the repairs (based on insurance etc). We questioned the amount and even had a few suggestions on how we could cut some of the costs. However our ideas fell on deaf ears as ray promptly stop communicating. We wasted way too much time dealing with this company. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they are just paint guys, maybe they really don't know much about installing a new shower....maybe....so then maybe they shouldn't have agreed to give us a quote to begin with. read more
