This was the ONLY place I called that could not tell me how much a consultation cost - besides the first one is "free"... I'm wasn't interested in free. I was happy to pay for the visit and be worked on then and there and make as many future appointments as needed. What I was interested in is not wasting my time to attend a "free" session to discover that the next appointment is $200 or whatever when everyone else could quite easily tell me exact figures if not a ball park. They even gave me scenarios on if that wasn't the case so I knew what the possible costs were and wasn't too surprised. Of course nothing was set is stone because they didn't know what the issue was. I decided on a good chiro with good reviews who outlined prices before the visit and I'm all fixed for a reasonable price no games, no "free" malarky. Every time I go in, he takes the time to ask how i'm feeling, to make sure the issue is getting better, and not just throwing me on the table and rushing through the adjustments. This office is incredible! I've been dealing with back issues for nearly 20 years now. My spine, hips and neck are a mess and the diagnosis didn't sound good but after 2 weeks, my neck feels much better. I can move it. I started this review 4 months ago and today I'm finishing it. I've been working with Dr Austria and his wonderful office to correct some serious issues with my neck and spine. I have never been to a chiro and i was very scared because people say they crack your bones and that it could be painful. Honestly i have bad back and arm pain I decided to give it a shot and share my own experience. Today was my first time getting my bones cracked and it felt very good it was a great start for my day. Dr Austria was gentle I felt no pain at all. Customer sevice is also great. I love it that they have a perfect schedule that works for me. I am an early bird and so are they. I was skeptical of this place because of all the 5 star reviews. I am a professional dancer, I have a show in 2 days, and my knee was so jacked up I couldn't bend my right leg. I was desperate to find a place to get in quickly. I looked up chiropractic care on yelp and this was the closest place to me. I called and the receptionist Sonya was incredibly comforting and nice. She got me in after hours and once my appointment started, I felt like Dr. Austria really took his time with me. He was funny and confident in his procedures. I've been to a few chiropractors before, he is by far the most normal one of them all. Very personable! I am going in again today to make sure everything is a-okay before I perform all weekend. I went here bc of my GF. She had nothing but praise for Austria so me having intense back issues I thought why not. I did the whole first appointment free consultation. X-rays and advice. Next time I showed up ,w/o the GF, and not only did he give me a regime that would be within a few months, he chiro cracked my neck and back. GAWDAMM. My first time, chiro cherry has been popped. Cool. Afterwards, went up to the receptionist and for some naive reason I thought the second one would be free as well bc of the candor of Austria and how the receptionist didn't bring it up on my first day. No mention of money. But nope. 60 bux. I'm not gonna give Austria one star just bc of the cost but I will delete two just off that. I found Dr. John Austria's office while commuting to work and needed to make an appt. due to pain in my lower back that correlated with a shooting pain that ran down my right leg. I called and made my appt. with Alex who was really sweet and accommodating over the phone. After having a nice yet serious consultation with Dr. John, he requested me to have x-rays done. It turned out that I had not one, but two problems going on with my lower back. Now this is the reason why I knew that he had to be my chiropractor. John is such a great listener and was empathetic to my concerns with my back. He patiently and thoroughly explained the problems with my lower back and the procedures that would need to occur during his course of treatment WITHOUT shots, pain meds and surgery. After 3 days I was noticing a difference and after one week a majority of my pain ceased. I am able to sleep better at night, exercise and stand for longer periods of time. They didn't have any appointments that I could make until after I moved and i asked if she could ask Dr. A to make an exception and do a shorter, not a full new patient appointment, since he came highly recommended by several friends (2 of them were even in the waiting room!) and current patients and since I'm 5 months pregnant and in pain (definitely don't want it to get worse on my flight cross country). Dr. Austria is an excellent Chiropractor. I was suffering from lower back pain. He took some x-rays of my back and saw that I had my spine shifted 18 degrees to one side. I started getting treatment once a week and after a year of treatment, he took another x-ray and saw that I had improved. I was only 3 degrees off from what the spine should be aligned. The pain stopped within a few visits has not come back ever since. I am back to regular exercising like I did before the injury. Basically, the pain came from my sciatic nerve being compressed by the lower spinal discs. My spine was compressed and shifted to the right by 18 degrees. Now its only 3 and counting down. When I first came to Austria Chiropractic, I came in tears, unable to move. I didn't think anything was going to help correct my back pain, after all, Kiaser diagnosed me with mild scoliosis, what could a chiropractor do for me? I have been a patient of Dr. John for 4 months now. I went to him after seeing his great yelp reviews. Prior to beginning my adjustments I had been having shoulder pain/discomfort for over 4 years. At first I was having adjustments 3 times a week and I am now at 2 times a week to try to get my spine to hold its alignment and hopefully get the pressure of my nerves, which has been causing my pain. I really love going there for my adjustments every week. His small staff, consisting of Alex and Sylvia, is awesome and they know everyone by name and always thank you for coming in.
