This time, although that sign was still up over one menu, the rest of them were not. So, I took a chance and ordered it. I asked for half sugar, because I usually ask for 25%, but I figured with matcha frappe, I might need a little. It turned out good, but I think I expected more of the creme brulee to be present, and that was my mistake. It was mainly a matcha frappe (matcha and ice blended together) with a hint of the creme brulee along the side. By 1/3 of the way down, my mouth was numb from the cold. I probably won't order this one again, at least not in 30 F weather- haha. My partner got the same drink as last time, except this time he ordered a large. He got the brown sugar milk tea; 50% sugar; little ice. Add creme brulee topping. That was delicious, just like last time. The people working here are very sweet. I'm not sure if they are a family, but they seem like it. They work very well as a unit with the young woman at the register, and the elder man and woman making the drinks. The inside is cute. There is one small table and two benched areas with various designs on the walls, and the toy machines toward the back. We are planning to come here more often and try other flavors!

Ever since I tasted the matcha fraps from Omomo in San Diego during a trip, I have been on the prowl at home for something similar as Starbucks just doesn't cut it. Finally found this gem. I ordered the "matcha tornado" with 25% sugar. Absolutely delicious, with the perfect consistency. The matcha flavor is not overpowering and has just the right amount of sweetness (for me). I could taste the small notes of cream that is full of flavor. I'm so happy and will for sure be a regular patron. Mission accomplished! Thank you Tea Yard!

It was self seating when you enter in. My friend and I got a table and they quickly brought over the menus. We ordered crab Rangoon, chicken wings, classic bang mi, seafood pho, pho with everything, Thai ice tea and mango summer pop. Out of everything we ate, we couldn't agree on the rating. There's certain preferences so let's break it down. Crab Rangoon was on the sweeter side. Chicken wing was seasoned properly but the sauce on the side is also a sweet and spicy mix. Banh mi... I'm going to have to give this a pass because the sauce was unnecessary and made the whole sandwich red. It was screaming red40. Phos - average. It's about the same you'll get in Chinatown so unless you want to make the drive, this will do the job. Noodles were soft, broth was seasoned. Drinks- my Thai tea and the other table's Thai tea are not identical.. this means that they add as much milk as they want but it changes the taste. Mine was too much milk and it wasn't the orange Thai tea color. My friend said her drink was enjoyable and I saw that a lot of people ordered the same drink. Overall. I would come back if I was in the area. It's nice inside, noodles were hot, and service was quick.

Only downside is I asked for "fatty broth" which I consider is a staple for Viet places, and when I've asked all standard viet spots for fatty broth (aka nước béo) they know what I am asking for and will provide. When I asked the server for fatty broth she didn't know what i was referring to, and when I explained what it was she commented "but wouldn't that make the pho too fatty"? LOL, girl that's the point it makes it more rich, I let it go but was sad they didn't know what it was :(
