Omg this place is terrible. I did not have an appointment but I did call ahead to see if they were slow enough to take a walk in and she said yes. I walked in and was immediately startled by the old lady hiding behind the oversized desk. I asked about the foot reflexology massage as the website describes it attends to much more than your feet. Yesterday was my second visit to this location. This time I brought my wife because I felt it would really help some of the chronic pain that she has been feeling. Back in 2002 I attended Thai massage school in Bangkok after having my first Thai massage experience while living in southern Germany. It was a game changer back then, and I had to learn more about it. Thai massage is about energy flow and balance throughout the body. A true Thai massage will do just that. This isn't the regular idea of what a typical massage can do for you. This is a very different approach to massage, and at Authentic Thai Massage, they employ the highly therapeutic methods of working the energy Sen lines of the body with a variety of thumb pressure, foot pressure and stretching the body. After receiving the authentic massage, there's a blissful feeling of well being. This was the first full Thai massage my wife has had (since my skills of giving the massage have waned since 2002), and she said it was the best massage she ever had. For the rest of the day she didn't feel any of the pain she's been living with for some time. I know they offer Swedish as well as Thai, but I highly recommend getting the 100% Thai massage. I just returned to Arizona after living in Thailand for over 5 years. So needless to say Thai massage was at the top of my list of things I would miss about Thailand, being that it's the only thing that keeps my migraines at bay. I had an amazing experience at Authentic Thai Massage. Classic traditional Thai massage (although I did the headache remedy massage it was still Thai style which is what I did in Thailand.) The owner is very nice and friendly, my masseuse Naren was lovely and did amazing (migraine gone completely), and the place is very clean and welcoming. So I'll definitely be coming back regularly. Seriously wow! The hubs and I did the 90 min couples massage with thai/Swedish and hot stones option which doesn't cost any extra. It was our first time trying Thai and it was life changing for sure. We just bought our first home and it's been super stressful packing up our current home and kids so we needed some major self-care/TLC. We didn't know what to expect and my husband panicked when we walked into our room and saw 2 double beds in the room. I don't really want to go into detail about everything because you should enjoy the experience yourself - I purposefully avoided reading any of the long reviews before we went so we could just enjoy something new together. We definitely won't forget doing this together, felt like new people afterwards and felt completely rejuvenated afterwards. Everything was clean. Professional. And we can't wait to go back again! This is a very clean and sanitized environment. Very professional therapists and you never feel awkward. I was given oversized scrub top and a pair of shorts to wear during my session and she had excellent technique walking on my back and stretching me. I never felt unbalanced or uncomfortable. I have been coming here about once a month for the past about 2 and a half years and usually have a great experience. I have tried almost all of the various services, my favorite being the headache remedy. I have never felt the need to request a particular therapist because up to this point they have all been great (some are PHENOMENAL like Gida Wan and Vicy) but I had not gotten a massage I DIDN'T enjoy until last night. I went in for a headache remedy and for the first probably 15 minutes of the massage there was hardly any pressure basically just hands set on my back so I said to the therapist I'd like a bit more pressure - nothing changed - so I said it again - at which point without asking she stood on my back full force - I'm not a very big person and always decline body walking as I have a very sensitive stomach - I told her I didn't like body walking so she got off and at that point I just was quiet because I didn't know what to say to make the experience any better and she didn't respond to anything I said at all. The massage did not at any point get better or more relaxing. I asked her name before I left to ensure I would not get her again. read more

I have had many massages in my life but The ladies at Authentic Thai Massage do an excellent job. My massage therapist is Ae. She is terrific and will walk on your back if you want. I am a big guy and Ae is able to stretch me more than anyone else and gives an excellent deep massage. She is also a very nice person!
