Dont go to this place i had issues from day one. First the give me car with empty tank of gas and temp tags that were for three days. I go to get tags at dmv im sent to dealership. They send me to dmv its back and forth for a month. Then there was items they agreed to fix on truck i take to them to fix they had it for 2 weeks i go pick it up nothing fixed im like oh well i ll just fix. Form the experience i decided to pay off car early so i got paid off in 15 months. Get this the car has been paid off for 5 years they still have a lein on my title refuse to remove stating that they need to get interlocking device i take to them and the guy says there isnt one. But yet i still have no title at this point i am working with a lawyer to sue them. DONT GO TO THIS COMPANY!!!!! THEY WILL DEFINITELY TAKE ADVANTAGE. read more

Worst company ever. Had the hardest time buying my car. Took hours with no other people in the dealership! Although, I really do like my new car (got them to knock $400 for the radio not working- turned out to just be a fuse!) But. I'm having tons of issues with the anti theft system they install in their cars. also, that's kind of sketchy. Do they have a tracking device in them??? Idk! My anti theft system goes off when it's just me trying to enter my car! The alarm goes off on full blast, And I can't have a duplicate key made solely because the anti theft system is blocking the new key from being programmed. So I have to take it somewhere and spend more money to get it taken off. I called Auto Action (all of their locations) and I was hung up on. I got ahold of the Avondale location, and this is how the conversation went. Me: Hi I was wondering the brand name of the anti theft system you use! Representative: the brand name??? Me: Yes. The name of the company you use for the Anti Theft systems you install. Representative: uh. I don't know. Me: well, do you know who would know? Representative: No one would know. WHAT? Ugh! My son and daughter in law placed a deposit on a lifted truck over a week ago and was to pick up the truck and finish the financing. Then the car needed transmission work and she was to pick it up on Tuesday , then Thursday then Friday she went down to finish the paper work and pick up the truck they wanted more money down and changed the terms of the loan. Today, Saturday, they went down to give them the additional money and get the truck and the sales people had another buyer in the office and sold it to the other buyer for $3000 more than what my son and daughter in law contracted for and before my son had his deposited returned. SHADY PEOPLE!!!! DON't BUY FROM THEM YOU CAN"T TRUST THEM! We will be reporting and filing a claim on Monday with the BBB and anyone else. read more

I am so sick to my stomach after the purchase of a car from Auto Action. Bought a car in Feb. They were super nice and wanted to get me in a car. Then when I went to make my first payment the guy had no customer service skills. He was so rude. Im so unhappy with having to pay on this car. They made it sound like i was getting such a great deal, however I now find out I cant refinance it because I owe $3000 more than what it is worth. After one day of have this car it started acting funny. One week goes buy and the muffler and exhaust fall off while driving. They finally ended up fixing it after I yelled and complained. I came to this Auto Action location to purchase a vehicle on Saturday 4/12 with a bad taste in my mouth from a previous dealership telling me I was approved with my $500 down and going in for them to tell me I needed $2000. I had previously spoken with Ryan on the phone and decided to take the long trip into the Van Buren location. Once I got there it was an easy process, unlike other places we worked number first. I told them what I had & what I could afford and they told me what cars I could pick from. Ryan took the time to show me all of the vehicles and even took me to other locations to make sure I made a choice I was going to be happy with. Ryan ended up spending nearly 4 hours with me. I decided on a 2003 Ford Focus and could not be happier. Abraham made sure I fully understood what my obligations were and Angel went through the contract with me twice to ensure I was satisfied with my terms. Let me be the first to say dont do it.. I had got a truck about a year ago with this company but at the location on 19th and broadway.. Only reason I went there is because it was my last resort.. No banks were giving me any approved loans do to my credit. When i got to auto action it was a fast process because i had the paperwork before hand. Although interest is extreamly high I told my self its better then nothing... Should of left with nothing.. after having this truck for a year its been more like a project car then a reliable car, everything needed to be replaced.. Goes to show you theyll sell you anything.. Top it all off, I was considering trading my truck with chapman chevrolet.. Come to find out the truck I have had been in 2 accidents so they offered me the lowest trade value for it.. Couldnt make the trade with negative equity so I passed and still am stuck with this truck I do not want. I had a very long conversation with Rick, who kindly took the time to review all of my information and was incredibly helpful with his recommendations. He saved me from making some very bad decisions that could lead me into even worse debt! At the end of the day I did not get a car, and he did not get the sale, but through that conversation alone, my faith has been completely restored in humanity. Bought a 12,000 truck.had nothing but problems.called the service department several times and was told it has to be a continuous problem for them to fix it, as it only did it randomly.9 months later my transmission blew up and I'm a couple thousand miles past the warranty and my trucks been sitting in my driveway 3 months now cause I don't have the 3,000 to fix it. So I'm stuck without a truck and still have payments to make unless I give it back. I wish I would have brought my business somewhere else now. My Salesman, Dennis, was helpful, patient, and very knowledgable about this particular vehicle. I went out of town for work that next week, and while I was gone communicated with him, got a quote, and an idea of what my trade-in value would be. When I came back he put the SUV aside for me....I went in that weekend, bought it, and never had to haggle, argue or threaten to walk away. He answered all of my other questions, and there was no pressure to buy. The financing team, Howard, was fantastic as well. No pressure to purchase an extra warranty, and was clear on what my payment would be, my APR, and who the payment will go through. He was able to match what I wanted to pay, and even got it down a few dollars. I have been to many many dealerships over the years, and this is one of the best I have been too! read more

In February of this year I purchased a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer with 77,800 miles on it for 700 down and 440 a month. In April I had to take it in because the AC Compressor went out which snapped the serpentine belt and all function was lost. Under their 12,000 mile $299 deductible warranty, it was fixed. Then again the same issue happened in July and had to wait a week to get it out. Mind you I'm responsible for the payments as well as the deductible and other bills. They fixed it and everything seemed cool until Saturday. While driving on the highway same issue happened and I almost wrecked due to no power steering and panicked trying to get off the highway and get somewhere safely. It began to overheat badly and the engine shut off. I am very upset and called today to surrender the vehicle. I was told they could fix it and I told them if it is fixed and the problem keeps happening again and again what is the point of keeping it if you will not replace the whole engine or give me another vehicle. The customer Service rep explained to have it taken to True Fix again and they will work on the payments with me. Long story short I know the vehicle was in a wreck before as another mechanic has seen it and had to fix my serpentine belt just so I could drive it to get it to the point the towing would cover it without out of pocket expense. The rep advised me that if surrendered the vehicle would go to an auction and whatever is left over on the high balance I owe on it I will be court ordered to pay off with a 20% garnishment from my wages. Soooooo I will be taking them to court because not only do I feel like this vehicle is a complete lemon, it caused me to have a panic attack as I suffer from extreme anxiety and I felt like I would have hit someone or been hit on the highway with that happening and now they are trying to auction it to another victim that will go through what I have and I am hoping it does not end in an unfortunate accident like I almost did. DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY EITHER WAY WITH OR WITHOUT A VEHICLE. read more

Please take the time to read this in its entirety .... I would give 0 stars if I could....... I have a 2007 GMC Acadia that I purchased from them ( I-17 van buren location) in may of this year 2015... After Ruben promised me that my last experience was a fluke ( I purchased from them in 2013 nothing but problems with the vehicle until I finally wrecked it) and he guaranteed this unit was inspected, fixed up, and a quality vehicle.. I agreed and signed on the dotted line... On the way home (about 25 miles) the engine light came on ... (apparently the 100 point inspection included resetting the engine light and lying about it*) come to find out it needed a transmission swap... Ouch that isn't something I want to here 1 day after purchase.... After 2 weeks of NO CAR or LOANER to get back and fourth from work I got it back :) !!! YAAAAY right? ...WELL Not so quick... the next morning it wont start without pumping the gas ferociously.... and about 24 hours later the engine light comes back on .... about this time I get a call from there "thugs" demanding payment on the vehicle ... I told them about not having the vehicle for weeks and I would not be paying for anytime I was without the vehicle..... They stated non-payment would result in repossession "you see why I call them thugs" I paid reluctantly and took my car to a mechanic .. "Worst mistake of my life" come to find out ... the car needs a fuel pump.. some engine balance switch.. new brakes... new tires... new struts... new shocks.. "NEW" transmission still throwing code "fishy"!! .... and it didn't even come with a spare tire :( .... all this included my quote (JUST TO BRING THE CAR TO SAFETY STANDARDS) was $2,700--- When I told the THUGS about this they stated and I quote "We can pick the car up if you like..BUT... You will be responsible for the balance due" ............ That's all I get after buying 2 cars from you!?!?! ... If you are looking to buy a working vehicle that will safely transport your family I suggest another company ... If you are an employee or a manager and you are reading this and you actually care (doubtful) ... you know who I am and you can contact me at anytime if you would like too work it out somehow ... most likely you will tuck your tail though and run as you have been doing now for 3 months..... I will be copying this and posting it on all sources of consumer feedback I can find EVERYDAY until I see it at the top of google.. and everytime someone types in Auto Action into a search engine all you will see is my post exposing them for who they really are!! I bought a truck from these clowns, my first payment was due on feb 16 I made the payment through their third party payment center on line. The payment place charges $5 for you to make a payment. so add $5 to your car payment every 2 weeks. Next they didnt take the money out of my account and didnt call me for 2 weeks to inform me then told me to wait why they investigate why the payment was returned to me. In the mean time they report to the credit bureau im delinquent now my credit score is effected. so finally they call ask me to make the payment while im at work told them i didnt have the check book on me this is when they started telling me im irresponsible even though they screwed up I told the woman I will mail the payment so my wife mailed a check. an hr latter Karen calls me and asks for a payment I tell her I talked to the other girl and mailed a check..she tells me they dont except checks...REALLY?? now she want my bank INFORMATION ROUTING NIMBER AND ACCOUNT NUMBER TO ENER AND CHARGE ME ANOTHER $5 to make a payment even though i have a check in the mail to them I told her no way she got rude and nasty telling me their gonna repose my truck. i would give no stars if possible! DO NOT GO HERE, THESE LIARS DO NOT DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! worse place to finance ever! bought my car back in January, thankfully havent had any issues with it BUT these people did rip me off! they sold me a car when i didnt even have a license, that should have been a huge warning sign for me but i went ahead with it. anyway, i showed up around 1 oclock, it took me about 30 minutes to decide on a car, the beginning wasnt frustrating at all. after choosing the vehicle, i proceeded to fill out a few sheets regarding work and references, no big deal. afterwards. i was left waiting until 7 OCLOCK, to fill out the rest of the sheets, by that time i was already aggravated, the sales man had walked past me several times through out the day and was visibly doing nothing as there was nobody else there that wasnt already being helped. i believe they do this purposely so that they can easily rush you through paper work thinking you wont take a look. so anyway, we had made a verbal agreement BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING, and i even asked him TWICE to confirm that with my down payment and everything else taken into account, i would only be making payments of $189 a month. as we were going through the paper work the sales man was reading everythign off and just telling me to sign, of course i decided to look before i signed to make sure what i was signing, and he seemed to be getting frustrated that i was looking so i decided hey what the heck, we have an agreement and you should be able to TRUST SOMEBODY WHOS SELLING YOU A CAR so i just began signing and passing on. i left finally at like 8 oclock, everythung was fine. lets fast forward to about a month and a half, i get a call from the dealership saying im late on my payment? i was confused as hell, being that i just made my first payment 2 weeks before that? the person who called me tells me my contract states i have BIWEEKLY PAYMENTS OF $189!!! i was furious! i went over there right away, and attempted to raise hell, but the manager was so rude and inattentive he said it was my fault for signing the paperwork before reading and if i wanted to take them to court then i would still be at fault because my signature is there. i was basically assed out. anyway, mad as i was i could do nothing but accept it. lets fast forward another 2 weeks, i go in to make my biweekly payment, and get told im short that i owe an additional $42 for CPP. first off, wtf is CPP and why am i paying for it?! again, i was mad as hell and confused. so because i dont have full coverage insurance im stuck paying them an additional $84 a month for collateral protection that they NEVER EVEN SAID A WORD TO ME ABOUT ! with all the cash im forking over to them for a used 2008 ford fusion that had 92000 miles on it i could be driving a NEW CAR! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! i was 20 years old, didnt have a great job when i bought this car and am a female and they took advantage of alllllll of that. screw this place! read more

This financing company has very poor leadership. Very unprofessional with their existing customers. They will process contracts without consumer authorization which will end in consumer credit report as delinquent. This company will charge late fees to their clients to which clients already preempts notifications to process payment changes within a reasonable timely manner. After months of putting in the effort to process these payment changes, this company will then threaten you for not paying "late fees" and will not take consumer money for this reason. Making their clients interests rates increase by them not taking the payments and making it even more late as it is.This company will find these loopholes to make it hard for their clients to make payments towards their vehicles to increase interests rates. Please reconsider choosing business with this financing company, it is unorthodox. I am appalled on how they conduct their business. Very disgusted at the customer service line for their unprofessional-ism. I strongly recommend reconsidering business deals with Auto Action. read more
