My mom went to phone hub which is next door to battery source and Laurel the kind sales lady told my mom her phone problem was her battery and to go next door battery source replace her phone battery so she did. She said they handed her phone off to a large African American guy and he took her phone to the back. He brought it back to her and she went home and couldn't charge her phone for 2days so she went back and the same guy did the same thing took her phone to the back brought it back to her and she left. She sat in parking lot trying to charge it from her truck but nothing was happening so she went back to laurel at phone hub to ask why isn't her phone charging she bought a new battery for it? Laurel opened it up and immediately called next door to battery source and told someone over there "YOU GUYS NEED TO PUT A NEW BATTERY IN HER PHONE RIGHT NOW"! She told my 82yr old mom to go back over there and put the new battery in right in front of my mom because there's no reason it needs to be taken to the back of store just to replace the battery.they finally put new battery in and her phone started working again just fine.what bothers me is my mom lives ALONE way out in the country Leesburg Ga(I live in San Diego)her phone is her ONLY communication to her family fire department police department etc nonworking phone could be the DEATH of her AND for 82yr to have to drive all the way to town 2X because SHE got ripped off is horrible! It's a painstakingly job for her to go to town more than 2x a week we all take that part for granted. They should reimburse her for her battery,gas and her time dealing with this crook! In a ELDER ABUSE case they would be ORDERED to pay ALOT more than that! We wouldve never known if laurel wasn't the one that's been helping her with her phones and knew exactly why it wasn't charging! I'm sure she felt like crap for recommending battery source(which could've been a great partnership both businesses recommending each other right next door to each other perfect situation but not if your recommendation turns out to be ripping off your customers) I did a review right after my mom told me on the battery source review page and the reason why I wanted to leave another is because I started reading the reviews today and noticed almost everyone(the ones with good reviews)has gotten responses from battery source but not one response to my mom's horrible experience of being taken advantage of and RIPPED OFF! I will continue to post reviews about this store I guarantee you my mom WASNT the first one and now knowing no one has even reached out to resolve anything with her/us it's NOT the last time so BE AWARE! WORD OF WARNING A year ago I went to Battery Source for a new car battery. less than 3 months…read morelater I was back because it failed. they put in a new (or so I thought) car battery and in less than a year, I was back. The employee didn't even check the battery, he checked my alternator reading and said he was getting a low readout. I said "what does that mean". He says you need a new alternator. I asked him to still check the battery. I could see through the slit in my hood. He didn't. Still claimed my battery was fine. Left and went to an auto repair shop. New alternator $ 944.75. I don't have that kind of money so came home. Talked to a Certified Mechanic, he asked me many questions, based on what my car was and wasn't doing he said it's your battery and where you got it. Go to an Auto Parts Store and buy a "new" battery, they don't sell REFURBISHED batteries. Went to O' Reilly's. They put in a new battery and checked my alternator the reading was perfect 100%. If I would have trusted the Battery Source I would have spent $944.75 for something I didn't need. If you read this review and need a battery, do not go to Battery Source, Go to an Auto Parts store or even Wal mart. Fool me once SHAME ON YOU, fool me twice- shame on me.

I returned the battery to Interstate and asked for a refund on the defective Interstate battery. The store said the battery was good, but they would test it to make sure. Two weeks later, I received a voicemail from the Interstate store saying the battery was indeed bad. Again, I asked for a refund, but they refused and gave me a replacement battery which at that point I didn't need. In addition, on the receipt for the replacement battery, they entered customer "did not like" for the reason instead of defective battery. This store is dishonest, unaccommodating and obviously sells defective batteries. Avoid at all cost.

I described my issue and was told it would be best if I brought the phone in to determine the quote. I take time out of my day to go to store where I am informed they need information from the box or cell provider to order the correct parts because they do not know what the model the phone is. Why could you not tell me that over the phone? If this how the beginning of a business transaction starts I would hate to see the end result. I wasted an hour of my day for a service I did not receive. Tighten up.
