After a short conversation we left our vehicle and went to lunch. I received texts, emails, and a phone call about the inspection with recommendations on what should be done. Most of the items on the list actually needed servicing and maintenance. One thing that stood out was the tires. The set of tires on the vehicle are high mileage tires that are not near the rating. They kept texting and making sure I didn't want new tires. Other than the back and forth about tires, everything went well and the price range was right around what I expected. This is the dealership where we purchased the vehicle new in 2012. Between here and Jacksonville Toyota all the vehicle maintenance history can be retrieved if needed. I would recommend this dealership for vehicle maintenance and service.

We spent a few evenings cruising car lots in the evening after they were closed. We wanted to avoid the flock of car salesmen vultures that tend to descend on you before you even get out of your car. We decided to bite the bullet and stop by Bruce Cavenaugh's Automart during the day to check out a van we liked. To our surprise there was no flock of vultures, not even a lone vulture. We were able to give the van we liked a thorough once over before we even talked to anyone. Right at the point when we could either drive a way or go find someone, Matt came out to meet us. Instead of the high pressure dodge-ball game I was used to, talking to Matt was like talking to an old friend. He asked about our goals and budget and then offered a test drive. After a drive we sat down and got right to the bottom line, no theatrics, no messing around. Matt got us down to our budget and even gave us more that I expected for our junk. The next morning the check engine light came on in the new van, it showed a fuel vent problem. I took it back and Matt sent me right to the shop. They knew I was leaving town and could have appeased me for the day but they went the extra mile and replaced $140 worth of parts to make sure it was fixed right. All this to say that I'm extremely impressed with everyone at Bruce Cavenaugh's Automart and Matt will be my first call next time I'm looking for a vehicle even though I live 700 miles away. Oh, and Matt even checked on us to make sure we made it home without any more problems from the new car.
