Matthews Motors did a great job on my truck. Everyone in the service department is extremely nice…read more Back in June I took my truck in Spark Plugs replacement, Fuel injector cleaning, Oil Change, State Inspection, Thermostat replacement and Oil sensor replacement. After picking the truck up the first time, I discovered the thermostat wasn't working as the coolant fan never turned off and the oil sensor notification was still dinging. I took it back and Matthews Motors offered me a loaner vehicle while they looked at and worked on the truck. When I picked the truck up the 2nd time the truck has been working great. Thermostat and oil sensor issues both resolved and they didn't try to stick me with any additional charges. Overall I'm pleased. I would definitely go back. I left a 4 star instead of 5 only because while I'm happy with the end result, I was surprised the truck was returned to me without being fully fixed; and also, they did have my truck for about 3.5 or 4 weeks in total. I think they may have been understaffed when I took my truck in. But stuff happens right? It's how a company reacts to hiccups like that that separate the good ones from the bad ones. Turns out Matthews Motors is one of the good ones. If you need to have your vehicle repaired, I think that Matthews Motors will do everything they can to make sure your vehicle is fixed up and that you're happy. Seems to be a good company with a friendly and capable staff.

They were quick despite having to order parts and Frank B. the service manager, was excellent to deal with. He kept me informed the whole way by text then surprised me much earlier than expected due to a part on backorder... with a phone call telling me my car was ready for pick up! Hands down the best car purchase ever for me and the best customer service standing behind their warranties. Thank you Matthews Motors and Frank B.

We wondered why they didn't fill the tank like most companies do at purchase. We did know there was no warranty, but they said they had a thorough safety ck done on the car. I would think gas tank/lines would be included in a safety report.

On 12/17, the car blows a head gasket and is inoperable. They have it towed to a mechanic to determine exactly what's wrong and notified the warranty company. The warranty company informed him that the cost to repair will not be covered because it's determined that the condition existed prior to the sale of the car. Of course it was. He calls the dealership where the salesman, Chad Burgess puts him through to the alleged manager's voicemail a number of times. The manager has never called him back over the course of a month. Not one time have they taken the opportunity to make this right for them. Fast forward to 1/16 and they go to the dealership in person, he talks to another salesman who brings him to the back, gets the story yet again. God forbid other customers hear of their shady practices. Of course, the manager is not there. He's dismissed again and told to call back Monday. He calls back and is put through to the original salesman Chad Burgess told they're working on it... after a month??? Clearly, this dealership cares far more about money than the customer. Now they're out $17k with no car and a newborn. I looked to see if they're on the blacklist of forbidden businesses from Camp Lejeurne and MCAS and surprisingly they're not but it's only a matter of time.
