Thoughtful amenities:*In the area with the vacuums and pressurized hose, they had ShamIs (shamers?) and Windex, which was a nice touch for quick touch-ups. Convenient location:*I live about 20 minutes away and happened to be in the area for a nail appointment. It was totally worth the stop. Overall impression:*Extremely impressed by the quality, efficiency, and value. On my last review I asked them to get there act together because a new car wash is opening across the street (Spark). Well they still have on going good issues with the equipment. I just canceled my two monthly passes today and now I'm a Spark customer. All new equipment along with a matt cleaning station. Just a FYI lov employees are great i will miss them, good luck to all.

I opted out since I am out of state, but I come home often and have passed the word around to many of my friends and family. I think it is $30 for as many car washes for the month, but I am not 100% sure on that. Their pricing is comparable to many other car washes in the local area. There are bays available for people to wash their own vehicle. I know it can take sometime, but I personally appreciate the availability to use the bays at my own leisure especially for those who may not have access to a hose hook up or a driveway to wash their car. If you are in a rush and prefer to wash your own car, I would plan well. The employees have always been helpful and considerate. They guided me well to get my car lined up, and they had great communication. This business is locally owned and operated. The owner is a great support of all things local. He has supported various fundraising needs for the schools and local sports teams. He is very generous and so willing to help out.

I approached an employee who said they would eventually work and inserted a token, punched in a code and it started and said let him know. He asked for my tokens (7) and I gave them to him thinking he was going to exchange them. When asked for them back he gave me two and confiscated the rest saying that they were his property. These tokens have a monetary value and have no markings saying whose property they are. He refused to return them to me unless I was going to use them all. This will be the last time there. There are other newer car washes around who I will patronize.

I thought that I'd finally made some headway, as shortly after filling out the form, I received a response with a list of their services and their prices. But it turns out that was merely an automated system response. Where it gets worse is I responded with the service that I would have liked. . . But crickets. Even though Yelp showed that my message was "Read". I gave them a few days, assuming that they were just busy. But I can't believe that a business can be so busy as to not provide at least an acknowledgement. My final communication was reaching out to thank them for their initial automated response and mentioning that I assume they have no availability. And again. . . crickets. The final straw was the notification that my message on Yelp had indeed been received and "Read", yet still ignored. I really wanted and tried to support this women-owned business, but I am extremely disappointed in their lack of communication. Reply to Business Owner's Response: A quick search of my cell phone's call history shows that I did in fact call the correct number. The screenshot below shows that I have been trying to reach out to you since May 2025. And if you look closer, you will see that each of the icons are outgoing calls. Not one call back was ever received from you, despite the voicemail messages that I left. Additionally, I still have my landline, so a couple of calls were also made using that phone number. However, I don't feel that it's necessary to provide a screenshot of those call records. After my last call of October 28, 2025, I finally reached out to you through Yelp in November 2025, which leads us to this review. This place must have changed ownership because it's not what it used to be. I had been coming here…read moresince 2012 to get mini details for all my cars, but they stopped offering that service due to staffing issues. The last couple of times I got the deluxe wash, it was decent. However, on my most recent visit, the staff seemed rushed and did a poor job with the pre-wash scrub. I specifically came in to remove bird droppings from the roof of my car. When I pointed it out, the employee glanced at it and said, "It's clean," until he took a closer look and saw that there were still a dozen spots left. The staff seemed irritable and eager to leave, not customer-focused at all. I felt bad for the one guy was drying all the cars by himself. He had more customer skills than the guy at the cashier. It's disappointing to say this after so many years, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

As to not give anyone hassle of hassle I would travel to the Malvern location as names changed. Mind you the phone numbers and everything else remained the same. Eventually the Malvern location shut down, putting me back to Wayne. Because they do not call themselves Gentle Touch they refuse to honor the prepaid tickets. The District Manager (Pete) appeared amenable to exchanging the tickets for updated tickets however stonewalled by the local manager. Left messages in person, called, emailed - nothing. Yes, Pete, this is me still trying to get ahold of someone. The tickets aren't getting any newer. Large investment and then the company flipped names w/the shell game. They kept everything but the name (and the responsibilities) - these tickets should be honored regardless of age...they are 100% legit and debt was purchased w/the rest of the company. Nothing fancy... basic simple car wash.
