They have the rudest counter staff that I have ever encountered at a body shop. All they wanted was my insurance check, and not to work with me. They will never get a dollar from me. Took my 2025 Kia Sorento after I hit a deer at the recommendation of my insurance. 2.5 weeks there and it was "ready," I get there and there's a paint chip not even addressed, the response "they should have fixed that" when I brought it up, had I not, they were okay with that work they did. I had to take my car and come back, I noticed other things not addressed such as a gapped grill. Went back and it took another week. I had went by and told my car was ready but they noticed something else off so they wouldn't release it to me but that the paint chip was fixed already, we saw it and it was not fixed at all. Basically took a paint pen to fill it, but it was still gapped. Like the insurance person at the shop overseeing my repairs had no control or oversight of the body shop staff back there actually working on my car. I finally got it back and it seemed fix, but makes me wonder what I couldn't see and if it had the same quality of repair. Horrible customer service. I wanted my 1994 Ford Bronco worked on and the salesperson took 1 look at my car for 5 seconds and said they'll have to pass. They're too busy. This is after a referral from the owner Ricky who said they weren't busy and would be happy to take a look at it. I called ahead and talked to Craig, who is apparently a relative of the owner. I knew it was going to be a few thousand dollars of work and I was going to pay cash to get my vintage car fixed up, but this guy looked disgusted that I didn't drive a newer car and made me feel very uncomfortable. I definitely won't visit again with any of my cars and I'd tell everyone to stay away from This location. read more

Took my 2020 F250 King Ranch in to get the right rear quarter panel and bumper repaired. Rudy advised me as to what they would do and gave me a finish date . I expected it to be two weeks... nope.. he promised one week and true to his word it was ready today! When I went in and asked for my car to be looked at to fix my front right fender. The guy was very rude would not let me speak and I don't think any human. She talks that way when I couldn't even say what I was there for without him, interrupting constantly. I would never recommend this company. I don't even know how he's open with how he speaks to people. It's really disgusting and I will make sure to put it all over Facebook to make sure that it's know that he's so rude. Went all over Corpus to fix my bumper after an accident and Ricky (Rick) Stephen told me that they would be on it and he was a man of his word. Took it in on a Tuesday and would give me courtesy call to let me know the progress of the work being done. Received a phone call the following Tuesday saying the car was ready. Went to the shop and a final walk down with Rick. Let me tell you, my paint color was EXACT! This man and his team know what they are doing. Highly recommend them read more

I was so disappointed with auto crafters. I called to see if they would work on my sons low profile car they were to replace the bumper and paint. First he told me it would take 2-3 days. I didn't get it back to almost 2 weeks. When we picked it up they did not even put back on the fog lights. Then we had to go back so they can install them then one fog light didn't even work. So in the process of missing fog lights they left the harness hanging to the ground which we did not know it was left like that we drove it home like that. When I called Rick to address the issue he claimed it was already like that so I had to pay for another wiring harness and go through another week of waiting they put it in and the light still did not work. Called Rick and the owner several times to get the issue resolved and kept giving me the run around and kept saying it was our fault and they did not deal with low profile vehicles when they obviously took it in the first time I took it. If they do not work on low profile vehicles and bumpers that were already purchased then they should've have taken the vehicle in. Not even a month later the paint is already chipping off the bumper in several areas! Never again! read more

I bought a brand new 2020 BMW X1 the first part of March 2020. The color is Jucaro Beige Metallic. Mother's Day weekend I was out and about with my girls and low and behold someone decided to kiss my bumper as they were pulling out of the parking lot at a local meet market on the South Side of town. Of course they had no integrity to leave a card. I took my car to Auto Crafters after some recommendations. They were professional and efficient. The repairs which were cosmetic are flawless. The color match is perfect. I am absolutely happy with the repairs. I hope to never see them again...lol...but if I do I will use them again. read more

I'm sad to only rate this place 1 star because they did a good job on my repairs. However upon picking my car back up there were MULTIPLE scratches that were not on my car when I dropped it off. I mentioned it to the guy helping me and he would not help at all saying that they were bugs. BUGS DON'T LEAVE A 2 INCH SCRATCH. I left VERY disappointed. No apology, nothing. I've recommended this place multiple times but will never again. There must be a reason that they were the only body shop that had availability. ALSO, my fog light now does not work on the right side. Seriously so sad. read more

I was referred by BMW of Corpus Christi to get my car repaired here after a minor fender bender. It took nearly THREE months to get my car back, If I didn't have another vehicle I would have been truly screwed. Each and every phone call, if i was able to get ahold of them was a constant run around, followed by new excuses. I just always got a sketchy and shady vibe from the gentleman I spoke with. When I was finally able to pick up my car, the hood didn't align properly and had a paint run on the driver side corner, the front bumper was poorly painted, with visible signs of lack of clear coat in key areas, and they also forgot to reinstall the factory sound deadening foam behind the fender where the fender was replaced. The repair results were almost as if they got some random untrained dude off the street to do the repairs the day before they gave me the Okay to pick it up. With this quality of work, If I was the owner of Auto Crafters I'd be embarrassed to call this my shop. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!! read more

My son took his car there to get repaired and several days later got a call to pick it up. After we paid and he drove off , the car did not sound right so he took it back. They told him that they had forgotten to do the alignment but charged us 90.00 anyway. They instructed him to take it to another shop at which point he proceeded to have a blow out on the new tire they had installed and barely made to the other mechanic shop. Talk about shoddy, negligent work. After inspecting the vehicle it turns out there were numerous other problems that Auto Crafters did not detect and the cost was an additional 1200.00. When my wife called there was no apology just indifference. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Went to this body shop as recommended by Progressive to fix some sideswipe damage done to my vehicle. Said they painted the back bumper, and when I got home, I noticed they only painted part of it. Back 25 miles and two hours later to show them the work they didn't do. Then back again for the fourth and fifth trips to have it repaired the second time. I was cleaning the car yesterday and noticed more damage they didn't repair. Not going back for the sixth trip. I Do not recommend this place. read more

This is the second time that I have used this body shop. The first time I had fairly extensive front end damage. They did excellent work. The paint job came out great and you would have a very hard time seeing any difference in the paint from the original. I also had a shelf fall on one of my vehicles parked in the garage and leave a small but deep dent in the front quarter. They offered to just give me the name a third party that could do the paint less repair; however, the dent was too deep. They went ahead and did the body work and it came out great as well. I was worried about the paint due to the vehicle being black, but again you could not tell a difference. Also had a co-worker have his work vehicle repaired here with excellent results as well. The pricing was reasonable and the work was completed quicker than expected. Everyone was very friendly. Hopefully I won't need to use them again, but would highly recommend. read more
