We also wanted a lookover just to see if the old car was worth putting the money into. C&C was great. They said they could do a courtesy inspection if I could leave the car. I did and in less than a week they were able to do all the work necessary by just squeezing me in. The entire staff was great. I think I will begin using them as well. There prices were better than where I had previously taken my cars. Again, they were great and I felt they really bailed out my daughter.

There is a whole system set up to drop off the car, leave the key in an envelope, put a message on the envelope, and then drop the whole thing into the mail slot so it is locked in the office. I fully expected a multi hundred dollar estimate, with a new part and labor, but it wasn't that way at all. The estimate was $70 (including $20 for the state safety inspection). It was of course a simple fix, but kudos to this shop for being honest about it and not trying to upsell, up charge, or do anything other than what was needed. I wish more auto places would be like this, but until they are, Arlington Auto Repair on Four Mile Run is the place to go!

The window switch purchased at Driven Autorepair was under warranty and the manager wouldn't give me a refund on the defective part. I was the part could only replaced. Advising potential customers of their policy and you have no choice other than to use their services when a part is under warranty. The manager would not take fiscal responsibility for the potential faulty part they purchased and/or the potential faulty installation they provided on my car. I lost over $800 dollars trusting the integrity of the services provided by this company. Buyer Beware!

Mistakes happen, so I came back and asked to redo the alignment, showed them their own sheet and said the wheel was crooked after the alignment. They said (1) they don't do rear alignments on Toyotas (???), (2) the car has unspecified issues that don't allow it to be aligned, (3) they would need additional payment to do the steering wheel correction. When I pressed them on what the issues were, they refused to commit to anything. Nothing was written down. Truly baffling that these people are running a real shop. I asked to talk to the alignment tech and they said he can't speak English. So how can he understand anything? Is he just guessing? I'm willing to bet they don't have anyone trained and that they're just winging it on each alignment. I talked to Rose and Arbor (blond ponytail man). They kept pushing for more money, and they said I already got an alignment so I shouldn't be greedy. Very rude while I spoke very politely. I went to Midas down the street and they fixed it. No issues with the car were identified, perfect alignment, 45 minutes. The before measurements (after Firestone's alignment) were way off. Extremely unprofessional. I noticed that the rubber trunk weatherstripping had been lifted off and left unsecure/was not secured back in place. According to the paperwork, the technician who worked on my vehicle was Seung Lee. This was a waterproofing treatment, but leaving an unsecured rubber seal could become pinched or damaged, potentially leading to further issues for the customer. Last year, their technician left a greasy mark on the side door panel after a scheduled oil change. There is an inconsistency in their service quality. I am very disappointed with the quality of the inspection and services.

I dropped the truck off at 9:30 AM and clearly described the rattle, including that it occurs over bumps and speed bumps. This is documented on the service invoice. I also requested help removing a previous owner's user profile from the media unit. After keeping my truck all day, I picked it up just before 6 PM. The invoice shows the only action taken on the rattle was "unable to duplicate customer concern." No diagnostics or repair attempts were documented, and the infotainment issue was not addressed. More concerning, the invoice shows that 0W-16 oil was installed, even though this Tacoma has a turbocharged engine that requires 0W-20 oil. Using incorrect oil viscosity on a turbocharged engine raises legitimate concerns about lubrication and heat protection. The only service actually performed was an oil change already included under ToyotaCare, and it was done incorrectly. I'm disappointed that after an all-day visit, none of the concerns were resolved and the vehicle was returned with an oil specification issue.
