It wasn't leaking or seeping into the oil - it was going out the exhaust. The car had a blown head gasket. 3 weeks without a car, getting dodged by the dealer and the worthless warranty company. The dealer's last words to me? "If you drive a car hot you will blow head gasket" ?!?!?!? IT HAD A BLOWN HEAD GASKET WHEN I BOUGHT IT. I hired an attorney.

As luck would have it my phone was dead and our OBD reader died while looking at other vehicles . I chose what I thought was a nice fan we gave it a brief test drive because the gas light was on and I didn't want to end up on the side of the road . I am not familiar with big cities had no idea where other roads are wasn't even sure I would be able to find my way back after driving a couple blocks so I was not going to go try to find a big freeway . Everything seemed okay except the Delight was flashing which nobody seemed concerned about . I couldn't google it because I had no phone . I purchased this vehicle with everything that I had saved and borrowed and more . After arriving home I looked up the light and found it was a transmission issue . At that point the dealership was saying they sold me a perfect car and never had any problems they did not want me to take it to my own mechanic . They wanted me to bring it back to theirs . They wanted a single mother to drive a possibly unsafe vehicle 100 miles back to have their mechanic look at it . My mechanic said that it was a transmission issue possibly just the pressure switch or more and then there were some other issues also they advised me not to drive it . So it has sent since May and it is now October. I have recently been forced to drive it but have not taken it past the four miles to the store and work that are close to my home . I do not take it over 40 miles an hour because when I do there is a shutter . But I have special children , School meetings, work, groceries and medical appointments . I have had to postpone several important medical appointments because I cannot make it to them because I have no vehicle that will drive that far . I have avoided driving it as much as possible have only driven it a handful of times for those short distances and now the check engine light is on and it's throwing over 20 codes . When I went to go drive it after it been sitting since May in my drive , I noticed so many dings and scratches all over it . They were not no there was rust showing underneath . I suspect that they had been covered up by the dealership so the van looked better when I bought it . As well as all its other problems that had seem to have temporary fixes just long enough for somebody to drive it and buy it . The dealership refused to work with me , even after being contacted by the Attorney General they refused mediation . I feel very taken advantage of because I am a single mother and a woman . Plus I live far enough away I cannot possibly go into the dealership to speak in person . They have thrown insults at me , they have called me rude and hostile and in my writings to them anybody can see that I have been anything but . I have been totally screwed by the steelership and now I am pretty much stuck with no vehicle and no way to go to work or medical . Do not purchase a car from these people .

I was in and out with a new car in about an hour, drove the car home and they handled everything with ease, I never ran into an issue or problem when dealing with them... I got a GREAT deal as well... Habby and Steven were also great, always greeted me with a smile and I always felt welcomed and happy to be there. I HIGHLY recommend everyone who reads this to go there, I know I will be recommending them to all my friends and family and if the opportunity arises and I want another car I'm going straight to them. You'll absolutely love this place, the people, and the cars they have. They're in great condition and honestly priced. Go to NJ Auto Sales!! New Acura TL Type-S owner, Ligia G.

He took car back and demanded his money in which he paid in cash.. They gave him a check instead of cash . With mixed emotions I write this overall positive review…read more I was looking to purchase a used non-Nissan branded vehicle that I found online and saw at their dealership after passing by. Was almost the exact vehicle my wife and I were interested in purchasing and was mean to replace our current vehicle. The advertised price (in NJ) always seems to be a low price to drag you in and then you get hit with the $3-5k "dealer fees"... that's the game and you should always know this going in! Also, you need to know values, so do your homework, and know what your walk-away price is... Well, this "ain't" my first rodeo and I know how to "ride the Bull-s#%t". Luckily, we met a wonderful salesperson "Corey" who made the entire process tolerable and pleasurable. Due to him, we spent 4+ hours trying to get to a place to review, test drive, and close numbers on the car. Well, bottom line is, we couldn't get there. The entire deal came into play and with all variables, a trade-in, price of the vehicle, CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE, and after market warranties, we were just too far away. Could not close the distance, as I know what values were proper for my purchasing decision, and what other units are available elsewhere. Their pricing was ultimately very fair, just not the deal I was hoping to get. Again, I praise my salesperson, Corey, who was as disappointed as I was that I was not driving home in this new to me vehicle. The 2 major critiques that I am compelled to share are 1) They had this used vehicle for many weeks... it was very dirty... the rims were filthy and never washed for months from previous ownership... 2 run flat tires were at 24 PSI and one of them had a gash in it... no spare tire, that was supposed to be equipped with this car... oil spilled all over the engine cover (this is a Luxury SUV), carpet in trunk stained and also ruined in an area. The rear seat middle armrest cup holder compartment was glued shut! Same with the cigarette lighter in the front tray... could not get either of them to budge. Even the service manager couldn't. Also, a small hole in the leather on the door... None of these things were ever discussed, disclosed, and it was super disappointing to find the car in this condition. Otherwise, beautiful car. SUGGESTION: get some soap, sponges, water, and armor all and clean your vehicle BEFORE you advertise or show it. It costs zero to do that. That's why this place gets the 3, otherwise I would have given a 4 or 5. The above is the main reason I would NOT close the gap on the car. I was concerned there were more "hidden issues", whether known or unknown to this dealership. I wanted to hedge and protect myself... car was 4 years old and 41k. Should not have looked like that, as a luxury SUV. Hope this helps them and anyone considering shopping here. I recommend them. Just do your homework first and stick to your deal.

A saleswoman is getting pushy with the woman. Woman wants time to think, saleswoman pulls out all the aggressive techniques, pushing her to sign immediately. Another couple was also waiting around for a customer service issue. (If you have a customer service issue you spend a lot of time waiting. Because that's not where they make money. So they just let you sit around all day waiting.) The husband expresses some support, telling the salesperson to back off and let the woman think if she wants. Immediately, another man, apparently a Payless employee, jumps up and starts lambasting both men to stop harassing the saleswoman! (It was pretty clear that the only person harassing was the saleswoman! Until this guy jumped up anyway.) The son and husband both affirm their position, and this Payless employee gets into the husband's face, asking if he wants to take it outside and settle the matter there! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Neither could the saleswoman, fwiw. She was astonished too. Apparently this was outside the aggressive sales playbook. Anyway, the husband managed to diffuse the situation and the aggressive employee went outside himself. My customer service issue was not satisfactorily resolved. Neither was the other couples. So, all I can say is, be careful going here. You'll get pushed into something you regret and then neglected when it doesn't work.

Payless auto sales aka Trophy Auto Lounge : This dealership's pricing practices are extremely…read moremisleading and designed to lure customers into predatory financing. The vehicle I looked at was advertised online for $11,298, but once I arrived things changed quickly. The out-the-door price for a cash purchase jumped to over $18,500. The reason? The advertised price only applies if you agree to finance through the dealership under their terms. If you want to pay cash, they start piling on non-sense add-ons and fees such as transport charges, warranty packages, and even something called a "finance coupon recovery" fee. These are essentially penalties for not financing the vehicle through them. When I declined all the unnecessary extras and said I was only willing to pay the vehicle price plus legitimate costs like sales tax, title, registration, and their already outrageous $995 doc fee, the total came to about $13,480. Instead of working with this honest price structure (which they argue is their website disclaimer), they came back and said they would "meet me in the middle" at $15,000. That tells you everything you need to know. The advertised price is not a real selling price -- it's simply bait to get customers into the dealership so they can pressure them into high-profit financing agreements where they likely make money from lender kickbacks and inflated interest rates or when paying cash attempt to pad their pockets additional profit charges. Make sure you read the fine print on their website carefully before wasting your time. This dealership advertises artificially low prices that are simply a get you in the door advertisement and have no intention of selling any vehicle at the price unless they can rob you somewhere else during the purchase. Transparency and honesty matter when buying a car, and unfortunately, I did not find either here. Finance Coupon was the funniest additional charge I have come across in a while. This dealership appears to be engaging in the exact type of deceptive pricing practices the FTC recently warned 97 auto dealership groups about. The advertised vehicle prices seem to apply only if customers agree to use the dealership's financing, while cash buyers are suddenly hit with inflated pricing, unnecessary add-ons, transport fees, warranty charges, or other questionable costs. The FTC has made it clear that advertised vehicle prices must reflect the true "all-in" price available to all consumers, excluding only government taxes and title fees -- not conditional financing incentives designed to push buyers into high-interest loans. Advertising artificially low prices to lure customers in, only to change the terms based on financing, is misleading and undermines consumer trust. Unfortunately, they specifically want uneducated consumers to purchase from them. The sales staff was nice but are unfortunately the face of the ownerships deceitful practices. It took a lot of restraint on my part not to interfere with the customers next to me who were getting robbed and had no idea.
