Was contacted by Jennifer from Auto Glass Fitters to "schedule a windshield replacement". When I spoke with her, I shred that I would like the earliest appointment available. She told me, "we have you scheduled between 8:30am and 9:30am". I placed that statement in quotes because I take notes whenever I am conducting business over the phone to ensure nothing is lost in translation. I planned my work day based on this information. Day of install: 9:35am rolls around and I have not received a call and no one has shown up at my house to replace my windshield. I contact AGF and shared what I was told yesterday and that I was calling to simply follow up. A supremely unprofessional, rude guy (Jennifer would not give me his name) proceeds to tell me that his boss has worked there for 20 years and he is sure she did not tell me that and proceeds to place me on hold abruptly. I'm appalled at how this guy randomly goes off on a customer who was simply attempting to confirm the appointment and ascertain when I should expect the vendor to arrive. Jennifer then picks up the line. I asked her for the guys name with whom I recently spoke. She glosses over that request and asks me whats going on. I share with her what I told him and she began to tell me that why I heard was wrong. I shared with her that I wrote every word down.....at this point I was over it and I told Jennifer to cancel my appointment. State Farm recommended this vendor and I am going to notify them of my abysmal experience. I will also place a review wherever possible about this business because they are truly horrible and do not deserve a penny from paying customers. read more

I did have a FIRST HAND experience with this company and when I gave them a negative review - they petitioned Yelp to remove it. Well, here it is again since I had the experience and it is still very negative. Auto Glass Van was Creeping around my neighborhood with blacked out windows and parked in from of my house idling for 20 minutes. I called the number in the van to tell them to leave the HOA area and go wait in the parking lot the guy Mike in the PA call center yelled at me and sarcastically said he can wait anywhere he wants and when I said there were larcenies reported in the neighborhood lately and I will call the police if he doesn't move Mike hung up on me. I called back and Chris answered, transferred me to a supervisor named 'Violet' and she was equally rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak with her supervisor or the corporate and she said 'this is as high as you're going to get ". Really? read more

Set up an appointment to replace a shattered window. The morning of the appointment, the tech called to say they did not do residential calls, only commercial. He said no one would be coming to fix the window. Called customer service and was told they would call me back in 10 minutes. An hour later I called again to have them tell me they were sorry and could not help us. Waste of time and unprofessional. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Call Safelite. read more

I am giving no stars on this review. I was a potential customer and desperately needed a new windshield after ours had been smashed during a storm. We had already placed a claim with our insurance company and they gave us the number to call auto glass to set an appointment. The individual on the other end of the phone was completely rude she was agitated that she needed to call our insurance company to verify information shouting over the phone to another employee that this was going to take forever. Then made it seem like I was an inconvenience for her and her morning trying to set an appointment for our windshield to get fixed. Very disappointed in the customer service aspect and I will not use this company! read more

I submitted an online quote at $267 plus tools and tax, but 15 minutes later, the supervisor called me and told me that she was able to find my windshield and parts for $235 total and that she would update my quote! I never would have been the wiser if she didn't do that for me, so I am grateful that she was honest and gave me the discounted price. The employees that I spoke to were all very friendly and efficient. When we set up a date, but it ended up raining, they rescheduled for the next day with no issues. They came to my work and had my windshield replaced in about 45 minutes with no disruption whatsoever. Again, the technician was very friendly, efficient, and my windshield looks great! They replaced my windshield. The windshield was incorrect and the rear view mirror wouldn't attach. They had the new windshield ordered and installed within 48 hours. The tech is very nice and knowledgeable and was more upset than me about the part mix-up. read more

So disappointing that they treat potential customers so rudely. At first I thought it may have been one person having a bad day. After speaking with the same person more than once and then a second person - they really need to re evaluate how they treat customers. No way would I ever use this company. I had my windshield replaced by Auto Glass Fitters last week. What a great customer service experience. They came right to my work. I handed the technician the keys to my car. What a nice guy, he went out of the way to make sure I was happy. The price that I was quoted was way less than all the other companies in the area.
