Long story short my windshield made friends with a rock resulting in what I thought was a significant chip. I scheduled a chip repair and arrived for my appointment. The service representative took my keys and went to inspect the glass. He arrived a few minutes later and told me that there was no need to worry as it was a just a surface ship which does not need repairing. The owner at Solos Glass (Jorge) was the first to explain the necessary recalibration process for the safety features on my vehicle and answered all my questions easily. He also had a very honest and transparent pricing quote. I went with a Nissan OEM windshield and recalibration, he ordered the windshield and had it ready to install within 2 days. My husband took it in and talked to Jorge while he waited and he found him super knowledgeable and friendly. Also ended up saving $100 over his initial quote. I called right away, was given a great estimate, and was able to get in for service a few hours later. It took about an hour to get my window replace. My mechanic, Carlos, was great! When my keys got returned, they said there might be some crackling noises because off glass that fell into cracks they couldn't get too.
