Well you could call the guys that 'repair or replace' and have the fancy jingles (and pay to find the next commercial) or you could visit a local business and save a few dollars. Quick easy and responsive describes my experience. Called on a Sunday and repaired on a Monday. I'd have waited at least a week longer for the 'big guys' and paid 30% more for the privilege. It's a small shop so that's geared to deliver a fast no frills experience. Who needs frills? You just need unbroken glass, right? Lake Auto Glass (AKA, Nations Auto Glass) was a huge life saver for me today. Someone broke into my car overnight, busting my rear driver-side window & slightly damaging the exterior to my driver window. This place popped in my Google search for repair shops. I called right away, was given a great estimate, and was able to get in for service a few hours later. It took about an hour to get my window replace. My mechanic, Carlos, was great! He kept me updated throughout the service and reassured me that he'd get everything fixed. When my keys got returned, they said there might be some crackling noises because off glass that fell into cracks they couldn't get too. I'm glad they were honest with me and did their best to get everything cleaned up! Carlos even repaired the exterior damage. Definitely recommend giving this place a call when your worst window fears come true! read more

Have called at least 5 other places to get a front windshield replacement for a large rock crack. EVERYWHERE else I called asked for at least my license plate number or my VIN so they could give me an accurate quote. First the girl was not friendly then just asked for my year/make/model. I asked her if she needed VIN or license and she just said no and that my windshield wasn't in stock. Period. I asked her how long to get it and she said 3-4 MONTHS??? They clearly don't need my business. Read all the negative reviews on Yelp and then judge for yourself. Everyone else I called said could get the windshield in 2-3 days max (after looking up my VIN). Wow is all I can say. Please listen to the other reviews about the owner being a complete jerk. My wife had a rock crack her windshield, which is necessitating it be replaced. We got a quote from a competitor and found this company. Their quote was over $100 cheaper, so my wife called to schedule an install. When she spoke to the man on the phone he was very rude, yelled at her and was completely unprofessional. All she did was try and schedule an appointment and he was just a complete jerk from the moment he answered the phone. She did make a reservation, but we will not be going here due to the very rude service just in scheduling an appointment. Price was $60 cheaper than anyone and got me in the next day of quote. Was told 1 hour but done in 45 min. 2 months later no leaks or anything to complain about. Just two guys. Guy on phone has an accent and I think that's why people mistake him for rude. Maybe. Not much of a waiting room. Two thrifts stores near door so that will eat up some time. Great prices. In my experience, only use them if you need side door windows. I've had quick easy service with that. If you need Windshield or back window glass, they will continuously reschedule. So far so good! Matt and his team replaced my rear windshield two days ago. I submitted an online quote inquiry on Thursday evening and Matt responded promptly - via email and text - with a quote and a guaranteed fix on Friday. His quote was the lowest one I received when compared to three other glass companies. He was also communicative on Friday morning after I dropped off the car regarding work that they do not complete (I.e., windshield wiper motor replacement and installation) to give me the opportunity to let him know whether or not to continue the work. I feel comfortable knowing that the glass and installation come with a lifetime warranty. Two small suggestions I have for the company would be to make sure to clear the parking lot of ice (I know winter came a little early this year but it was quite slick out there!) and have some patience with questions from customers who are less familiar with the replacement of auto glass. I called up and needed a 1/4 window for my 2023 Rav 4 hybrid. The girl that answered said that because of the year is was a high demand and that it would be almost $800 for the small window by itself and they have the last one in the area. I did some research and the 2023 uses the same rear 1/4 window as the 2019-2022 models and there is no shortage as she stated. In fact, I got a brand new one for $43.15 online from Andrew Toyota and picking it up on Monday when they open. The girl that answered is a liar and scammer. When I called back I played it cool asking her if she knew they used the same window as a 2022. She said yes. I asked why she said that they have the only 2023 glass in the area which was not true if the glass is the same for a 2022? Well, she started yelling at me saying they have plenty of work and do not need this crap and hung up. read more

My car window got broken at 10:30 at night on a Thursday, I messaged them right after it happened and they got back to me at 7 AM with a quote and an appointment. They let me drop off my car and they called me as soon as it was done. They also cleaned the glass out of my car. Great service great job. Idk cheaper prices are NOT always the best route to take. My window was fixed but it's rather loud when rolling the window up and down.. I think the glass is too thick (should have just went to the dealership) for some odd reason I was charged TWICE and the owner was being a jerk about the situation asking me " I have to have your card to charge you" well something happened... but he was no help, told me to stop yelling at him when he was yelling at me then his excuse was he's hard of hearing well that has nothing to do w/ya smart a$$ mouth of yours. Unprofessional is an understatement. Lied to me on the phone and said they had replacement glass. Had me come all the way over there only to say they didn't have it and couldn't get it until the next day. Told them I was gonna go elsewhere so I could get my car fixed same day. I took my vehicle to have 2 windows replaced. The when my back window was replaced the installer broke my door to where it would not open. The owner hollered and told me he was too busy to fix my car and to take it to a body shop. The owner told me I paid a cheap price $420 for window replacement and I should be happy. I contacted Lake Auto Glass on Thursday, August 27th to replace my windshield. I set up an appointment the next day for 9 AM. As I am walking down to my car at 8:30 AM to leave for the appointment, I receive the following text: "Hello this is lake auto Glass. We were just prepping the windshield that we have for your rav 4 and we noticed that there is a crack in the windshield. So we are going a new one today. Since it's the weekend the glass won't be here until Tuesday or Wednesday." I reply and say "ok, keep me updated. Thanks." By Tuesday, I have not heard anything back so I send the following text at 11 AM: "Hi, just checking if you think the windshield will be in by tomorrow morning. I would like to get it fixed tomorrow if possible." I wait 8 hours and still get no response so I call them. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. He made it seem like I was an inconvenience for calling him. I introduced myself and said I was just wondering if he had any updates since they said the part would be in on Tuesday or Wednesday. He replies "you do understand you aren't our only customer, right?" I was shocked to be treated that way. I said "I understand that. I was just curious if you heard anything since it has been a few days." He replied "your windshield will arrive from the manufacturer by tomorrow (Wednesday) between 10 and 11 AM." I said "sounds good, thank you" and I hung up the phone. I should have just found another company to replace my windshield after being treated so rudely on the phone by this man but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wednesday goes by with no phone call. Keep in mind, I waited around for their call and used my PTO from work because I WAS TOLD the part would be delivered that day. After not hearing back, I decide to schedule with another company. They had availability right away. The next day, I received this text message from Lake Auto Glass: "We have just heard back from our suppliers. Due to the co vid they don't know when your windshield will be in stock since they are having a glass shortage. We would highly recommend you go somewhere else that has your windshield. We are sorry for inconvenience." This would have been helpful information on Wednesday, or Tuesday, or Monday, or Sunday, or Saturday, or maybe even on Friday! I hope this company and the man who answered the phone invest in customer service training and do not make any future customers feel the way they made me feel. read more

Zero and I mean ZERO stars. Went in for a front windshield... this place is HORRIBLE! I now have a missing piece off the hood of my car, 4 huge dents around front windshield, black tar crap slopped all over the top and blue painters tape holding it in place under the hood! When I went back the owner completely berated me and called me stupid. Dropping F-Bombs on me and refused to take responsibility. I now will be spending 5K to fix my car. RUN FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! When the person answered the phone I didn't hear what he had said and I asked if it was safelite... well that set him off and turned into the biggest asshole and started the biggest tantrum I've heard from an adult. When I arrived, they started on my car right away and less than an hour later it was done. After checking around, the price was competitive as well.
