You already know that. In a moment you'll hear the REST OF THE STORY. We own a 1995 Honda Civic. This is our "back up" car. My wife had it when we married. I have never driven it. I don't do stick shifts! I noticed the inspection decal was about to expire. The inspector said it failed due to the muffler. The Minute Man folks were awesome. They informed me that they could fix it to pass inspection but advised getting a new muffler before it has to be inspected again in one year. They did the work. It passed the inspection but the inspector told me pretty much the same thing as the Minute Man guys did. Yes, it passed but over time the internal filters in a muffler (certainly one from Long Island NY as old as this one was) rot out from moisture. We will get the new muffler installed by these great guys. They were one of the lowest cost folks out there in the Schertz Cibolo area. We left the car off and it was ready by 9am the next day.

My vehicle has very low mileage, a great economical vehicle that has been well maintained. However, I only had liability, high probability the insurance would not cover my vehicle. The other vehicle, which came into my lane, left the scene. I was attempting to avoid a head on collision. No witnesses! Four days passed and my adjuster had not been in to see the vehicle. The local junk car dealer told me Eli's would be charging me a daily $20.00 storage fee; he was deducting that amount from the price he was offering me. With that information, I quickly decided to move the vehicle to a friend's house and wait for adjuster. When I arrived at Eli's, to meet the tow truck driver, I couldn't see my vehicle. I went inside looking and asking for my vehicle. I was very impressed with the staff. Even though the staff knew the vehicle was going to be totaled, they had moved my vehicle to a covered area because it was raining. The staff was protecting the interior of the vehicle. When I went inside the office to take care of the bill, they did not charge me for storage. All I paid was the wrecker fee. I was quite impressed with the staff. My truck looks AMAZING! It looks like a brand new vehicle. I got my vehicle wrapped in a Deep Matte Black with my rims powder coated shiny black and I had my calipers painted red. After a minor fender bender in the Creekside area, I needed some bodywork done to my truck…read more Down on my luck with transmission problems with my wife's Suburban, and much lighter in the wallet than expected, I was very stressed out on getting my truck fixed. After getting an astronomically high quote from another body shop in the area, I was feeling pretty hopeless. A friend of the wife had friends recommend us to CPR. Told us they knew a guy who was very honest, and determined to help folks out in my situation. The wife took my banged up truck to CPR and met with a nice fella named Raul. He looked at my truck, listened to our needs, and gave us a very honest assessment. Our truck is a 14 year old truck, and some of the repairs were not required. The other previous body shop was not hearing anything we said, and also refused to let me bring my own parts which they were gouging me for. Raul listened to our needs, and got right to work on our badgered Sierra. Raul did a good job, and overcome some difficult obstacles on the way. At times, also dealing with a hard to please customer, yours truly. Raul had my truck a week, and had me back on the road quick. Raul saved me over $2000 on my repairs. Raul will be my new go to guy here in New Braunfels. He is honest, works hard, is honest, and is just a nice guy. Raul also does mechanic work as well. I had no idea this place existed, and was very impressed with the friends of the wife. I feel obligated to sing high praises and pay it forward by posting this review. I highly recommend Raul and CPR. I have never enjoyed writing such a good review as I have this one. I cannot praise Raul enough. Please give this man a chance at your business. You will not be disappointed. Also, just a note, forgot to mention Raul works on all vehicles. The signage suggests he only works on RVs, but Raul works on ALL vehicles, big or small.
