After talking with the text that Reviva and consulting with local technicians, we were able to determine that the cars was due to improperly installed copper cups in the head. We had those replaced and the engine ran great. I contacted the warranty department to see if they could cover some of the cost incurred. The warranty department has yet to respond.

I think it is our new auto go-to place for most any automobile needs. I took Lynette's car in for an inspection this morning. She knew it was going to need at least one tire (it needed two) and that the wipers were starting to shred. But there was also a clunk that two other places had not been able to locate the problem, and two days ago the hood latch had broken. Max and the crew did it all. Marylou at the service counter provided friendly and courteous interaction and information. Sammy's began on Tupper St. in 1955 and has been on Niagara St. for the past 20 years. They do collision, towing, inspections, mechanics ...and hood latch repair. The clunk? "Over certain bumps or potholes, the exhaust pipe had been hitting the drive shaft." Can I give this place 0 stars? I'm even hesitant to give them 1. If you can help it, GO ANYWHERE…read moreELSE. If you HAD to use their towing service, you are SOL. When I was in a MVA recently, the police officer waited for this towing company to respond. In the time it took them to get to the scene (and mind you, they're a 5 min drive down the street), two other towing companies attempted to (with no avail) tow my car. Verdict? TURTLE SPEED SERVICE. When I tried to find my car plates (WITH THIS SHOP) to clear things up with the MOT and insurance company, what did they tell me? #1. First off, they didn't even know WHERE my car was. They gave me a phone number of someone who assessed the car BUT DIDN'T PICK IT UP. So they threw me through a loop, leaving voice mails, calling back random numbers for absolutely no reason. #2. Secondly, when I CALLED THEM BACK, they finally gave me the RIGHT name of the company that picked up my car. No phone number, no address. Way to give me NOTHING to work with. #3. When I called back AGAIN (all within 24 hours and in absolute frustration), they told me that they DID NOT take my car plates. But they gave some random person access to my car to pick up my stuff. It completely baffled me how Michael, the owner of the shop, got defensive and insisted that it was my boyfriend/the guy who was also in the accident who accessed my car. Excuse me? How could my boyfriend (who was in the accident with me at the time) pick up my stuff? We only have ONE CAR now (to which I drive to work) because we got into a MVA. You're telling me that my boyfriend walked how many blocks to your car shop to pick up a few things? You're not working with 5 year old children, if you're going to feed me some bull, at least be honest and tell me you're not sure. Now, I am completely distraught. I have to file a police report for LOST/STOLEN car plates because this car shop doesn't know how to do their job. So now I'm under the impression that they gave some random stranger access to my car and my belongings. Beautiful. Just beautiful. Please work on your people skills if you hope to stay in the SERVICE oriented industry.
