I SINCERELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP…read more I own Honda Accord 2021 Sport. I started getting a bunch of warnings on my car such as TPMS, Breaking System, Sensors, Lights etc... I went to them, and explained the problem to them very thoroughly. They made me pay 250$ to run a FULL diagnostic on the car to figure out the cause of the problem. Once it was done I got told that I needed to replace the tires in the back IN ORDER to fix the problem presented to them. So I approved the repairs and paid 1375$ adding the fact that i got charged an extra 200$ for some whit locks. Once the tires got changed the car was given back to me and I was assured that the problem has been resolved. I drove the car for about 0.3 miles and got the same warnings as before. I bring the car back they run another test and I'm being told that when they ran the diagnostic a second time and found out that my gas pedal was faulty and did not show up on their computer... So they told me that it needed to be changed in order to fix my initial problem, cost me about 422$. I was initially promised a reduced price at 250$ but the next day I was told that the charge would be 422$ because of the cost of said gas pedal. They replace the gas pedal, and give me the car telling me the car is fine now and all the warnings have been fixed. I was guaranteed that the car was tested. I drove the car once more and encounter the same problem. As I'm typing this, I went back to their shop today to ask for a refund, due to their inability to fix my problem and being charged for repairs that have NOT FIXED my problem whatsoever. I was denied my refund under the guise that they have already done work on the car even though they have not fixed my problem. Long story short, I've been charged for repairs, been guaranteed that those repairs were going to fix the problem made aware to them. Just to end up back to square one with the my initial problem and spending close 1800$ on useless repairs. I'm sharing this story in hopes that other people NEVER go to this shop. Predatory business, overpriced estimates, no guarantee that your car will be fixed after they have worked on it.

I was in Knoxville when a piece of small equipment fell off of a flatbed transfer truck right in front of me and busted my tire. The driver did stop and put my donut on. It was a Sunday and I could not find a tire shop open. I did finally find a shop who showed me the rim was also busted and they did not have one to replace it. I drove from Knoxville, Tenn to Christiansburg, Va. when I felt I could not keep going. Late at night so I stayed in a motel and Monday morning started calling around for tire place. I first needed a rim - I found Bill's used auto parts who had a rim for me. Shawn was so helpful and had me to go Quality Tire and ask for Jack. It was right down the road which was perfect. Jack and his crew were amazing. So kind, so helpful and quality says it all. I had been through so much it was nice to take a deep breath and feel I was in good hands. All was put on perfectly and I headed home. Funny thing did happen. I stopped near Lynchburg, Va. to get a bite to eat and my Jeep would not start when ready to hit the road again. I could not find my Fob anywhere. I called Jack at Quality Tire Tire to see if it was left there because it was already running when I got in it to leave. Jack was so kind and helpful looking around everywhere at his shop, etc. He had me look around the car and then suggested looking on the top of the car. There the keys were - by the luggage rack on top of the car. Shocking the keys/fob stayed on the top of the Jeep for over 90 miles !! Jack was my savior/hero. I contacted them on Tuesday January 21st and told them the issue I was having, Misfire in #2, #5…read moreand #7 cylinder. They told me to bring it in on Thursday January 23rd. We live out of state but my son goes to college at VT and I know nothing about any of the local repair shops. First let me start out with the good... They did get me in quickly and due to my employment at a local auto parts store I was able to bring in my own parts. I carried in 8 spark plugs, 8 ignition coils, fuel filter and fuel injector because I really didn't know what was causing the misfire. Got there Thursday morning about 0930 and they had a nice lobby for me to wait in until I could get an Uber ride. Later that afternoon, after not hearing from them all day, I called to get an update. This is when the problems started. They told me they replaced all of the spark plugs and ignition coils but still had a misfire in #2 so they did a compression test and I had almost no compression in #2 and I needed either a new engine or get it rebuilt. They then told me that the #2 spark plug was missing the end of it and the strap (pictures attached) and it is more than likely the cause of the damaged the #2 cylinder and loss compression. My question to them was (and of course no answer was given) and still is, with the #2 spark plug damaged that bad, why didn't they do a compression test on the #2 cylinder before they did a complete tune up on a damaged engine??? Seems like they are just parts replacers instead of being able to diagnose a problem or problem solve. I know have a freshly tuned up, $600 for parts and labor, damaged engine that will probably have to be rebuilt. Had they done a compression test on the #2 cylinder as soon as they saw the badly messed up spark plug, I would have told them to just leave it and had it towed back to NC instead. Be careful that they dont just replace parts and you pay a lot of money and still have a messed up vehicle.

When they called me back, they told me they couldn't find anything wrong with the tire, even after they took it off the vehicle and everything. Since nothing was wrong, they didn't charge me any fee or anything! They even replaced the valve on the tire for free for me incase it just wasn't reading right. They even checked things like my break pads and battery. Thankfully, they found out my battery (less than a year old) was almost dead! Thank god they checked or I could've been stranded somewhere. Update: 4 months later and during my state inspection, the mechanic found my coolant was extremely…read morelow. After a pressure test, the issue was the exact hose Firestone replaced... Come to find out, the heater hose that had been replaced wasn't even on correctly!! It was sliding on and off and would not click into place. I don't know if the gave me the wrong size hose, a faulty hose, or just didn't care enough to do it correctly, but there's no reason why it should break within 4 months. The reason I didn't fully dump coolant was because the hose expands when the car runs, so it creates a good seal. When it cools, since it wasn't on right, my car slowly leaked coolant over several months. I'm so glad that I ended up only paying 220 for this hose, because the original quote was over $600. If I had paid over 600 to get a hose that would break in less than a year, I'd be furious. I am still pretty upset because my mechanic thinks that Firestone just forced the hose to fit on there when it shouldn't have been. I will not take my car here again, that's for sure!
