Transmission was done fairly quickly. Starter went out on vehicle and they were super helpful in me…read moreordering it and they installed it so they could test the transmission to see if it was working properly. Then they stated they couldn't keep vehicle running. Wouldn't idle. Instead of waiting on figuring it out I decided to have it picked up so I could diagnose it and fix it. Was running fine when delivered to shop. Upon me getting truck back, opened door and truck had such a strong smell of cat pee. Seat cover on drivers seat was folded over. I unfolded it and surprise was waiting for me in the seat, cat crapped all over seat. Pee all over the floor board and more cat crap all over the seats in the back of truck. This should not happen. This is what I'm most upset about. Besides transmission being fixed (can't test) experience as horrible mainly because of the exposure to cat everything inside my truck. Now I have to clean it.

These people are straight up crooks this only place I've been where I took it in and got it back…read morewith more problems than it had before it went in. I have no idea how these people stay in business. When I got my truck back my battery was dead, alternator was done, my blinkers weren't working anymore and my overdrive still doesn't work considering that's why I brought it there in the first place. They make shade tree mechanics look good. All this after they convince you to finance for 6 grand. If you care about your vehicle don't allow them to touch it.

I had a great experience with Tyler and the crew at Brown's Auto Repair. From the moment I walked…read morein, they treated me with honesty, respect, and professionalism. Tyler took the time to clearly explain the issue with my vehicle and the options available, which gave me confidence that the work being done was truly necessary. What stood out the most was their integrity. It's not always easy to find a mechanic you can trust, but Tyler and his team operate with transparency and fairness. The work was completed on time, the pricing was reasonable, and the service exceeded my expectations. It's refreshing to see a business run with such strong values and work ethic. I highly recommend Brown's Auto Repair to anyone looking for reliable and honest automotive service. As the Bible says: "The integrity of the upright guides them." -- Proverbs 11:3 Thank you, Tyler and the team, for doing business the right way.

I brought my Jeep in for a diagnostic because the clutch pedal dropped. Brown's Auto Repair kept my…read morevehicle for two days and never communicated what tests were performed or what they actually inspected. When they finally contacted me, they provided a $1,403 estimate claiming internal transmission issues such as "shift bushings needing replacement," along with clutch and slave cylinder labor. Diagnosing internal transmission components requires removing and opening the transmission, which they did not do. They also did not perform any of the standard hydraulic diagnostic steps such as checking the master cylinder, slave cylinder, push rod, fluid level, pedal travel, or engagement point. No explanation was given for how any of the listed issues were identified. The real problem turned out to be hydraulic and was repaired elsewhere. The Jeep is now running perfectly, which confirms that the issues listed in Brown's estimate were not based on proper inspection or testing. I would not recommend this place.
