I have a 13 year old car with over 150,000 miles on it and it still runs great because of these folks. They are awesome. They treat you with respect and make you feel like family. I had a friend, who moved from up north, trying to get his vehicles inspected elsewhere and was getting the runaround at another place. They told him he needed to spend a couple of thousand dollars before they would pass it by Texas standards. Josh and Liz looked at the list of things they said and told him that they were trying to put one over on him. He got his vehicles inspected with no hassles and passed with flying colors. Take my advice. If you are worried about being screwed by automotive shops, bring it in here and they will make you feel better.

Then they suggested buying it from me if I wasn't willing to keep paying for repairs. A week later, I found out they sold the truck and claimed it was fixed. It's clear I wasn't the only one -- turns out other customers have had similar experiences. This feels like a bait-and-switch: quote high, claim they can't fix it, then flip the vehicle for profit. Completely unethical and dishonest. Avoid this place at all costs.

They wanted to put dye in to check where the leak was and said it was leaking everywhere- had to replace all the hoses and may have to get a new compressor, etc. the estimated cost of repair to the AC working was $1800. They claimed to have put in several hours tracking down all the leaks. I told them I couldn't afford that and they would discount the hours to generate good will, etc. I think they charged me around $500 which included an oil change but did nothing for my AC other than an expensive diagnosis. When my regular mechanic came back from vacation he looked at it and said it was a minor problem he sees all the time. He replaced some seals and charged it up with Freon (it is still working) and told me there were no leaks in the hoses and compressor was fine) he charged me $186. So great to work with an honest mechanic! These guys are not honest and prey on people who trust them. Don't trust them and take your vehicle to another place for a second opinion. I think you'll find it doesn't have the problem they said and it will be much cheaper. I saved over $1600 by just saying no thanks.

Took my daughter's car to Quality for engine light a couple of weeks ago. Previously, another auto…read moreshop had replaced the gas cap in hopes that that was the issue for the evap system engine code from the diagnostics. That shop said that most of the time, a poor sealing gas cap is the problem for that system code, but to find out for sure a smoke test of the evap system would be required. Well, we hoped that the problem was solved so we passed on the additional cost for the smoke test with that shop. Soon after, the engine light came on again. So that's how I ended up taking the car Quality for the engine light a couple of weeks ago, so they could run the smoke test. Daniel ran the test (the same diagnostic code for evap system) and to my surprise, they called me in the shop area and showed me the smoke spilling out of the gas cap connection, which obviously was not fixed by the previous shop the first time. So we're happy with a new gas cap, but then a short time later the engine light comes on again - how aggravating! So, I took it back to Quality this morning and Joe remembered the car and me from the recent, last visit. Diagnostics showed an issue with the evap system again, but this time using a higher pressure system test on the evap system, they isolated the additional problem canister and completed the repair. Thinking this through, once they found the poor gas cap seal previously with the smoke test, (which I came in asking for at the suggestion of the other auto shop) replaced the gas cap and the engine light went off after test drive, it would not have been prudent at that time to try a different costly diagnostic (in this case, the higher pressure test.) I learned that the smoke test is a low pressure test, which perhaps would not reveal the problem with the evap system canister issue - at least that's how understand it (might be wrong.) Fair pricing for part and labor. Excellent service and personal attention to me - kept me in the loop on the issues regarding ordering the part (GMC problem with part number, not Quality's.) Miguel test drove the vehicle to ensure that the engine light was now no longer activated and I was good to go! I've used Quality for years for all of my vehicles and after using many automotive shops in the Spring area since 1990, Quality is the one I trust most. Mike and his team are good, honest people - just what one needs in an auto shop.

This review is more about the experience I had when calling to ask a question. I had my check…read moreengine light pop on, stopped by Auto Zone to have it scanned and it told me the issue was my VVT Solenoid. This was for a 2016 Santa Fe Limited. I called Hyundai, 3 week wait just to get an analysis, a couple other places gave me 5-7 days before they could analyze it and told me it would be north of $400 to fix (minimum). Then I talked to Tyler at Christian Brothers. He was willing to set up a time to check out the SUV but he also asked me a couple questions. He told me the Hyundai was known to be an internal oil burner and asked when I had my last oil change. Ironically, it was a little overdue but no warnings or anything. He said if it was a little low it could set off that solenoid issue and he advised me to get a good oil change, drive the vehicle a couple of days and see if it resets itself. If not, they would be happy to look at it. Guess what? He was 100% accurate. I changed the oil, the check engine light went off. I even had the vehicle scanned again to check and there was no code error. Imagine that, a company giving sound advice to help you and not keeping their knowledge for profit. Thanks Tyler for being inquisitive, helpful and saving me an expense that would have been unnecessary. That customer care alone made me a loyal customer.
