These guys went above and beyond to help us when our car stalled in our apartment parking garage while going up the ramp. They met my husband at the parking garage, pushed the car into an open spot where they diagnosed and fixed the problem (after getting the needed parts from their repair center). I'm feeling so blessed to have found them, and to know our cars will be taken care of no matter what they need. My husband found out they do A/C work as well as body work too. I was recommended to CAR GUYS by a neighbor that previously worked or heard of him. I trusted that...I had my car towed there (225.00) due to I live in Conroe they are in spring tx. Car got there around 6/7 @ 1220 through text I found out. I had previously been texting him on the phone to let them know the situation. Quickly 6/8 1042am I was contacted for a payment; I told the person on the phone that it was never confirmed it was the alternator no one contacted me with an update or confirming that was what it was. I paid that 590.00. On 6/13 @ 931am I was told that the alternator was installed (after I had texted for an update not them giving me an update) but they poked a hole in my radiator!!!! Literally was told that part wouldn't be here until 6/15 I explained this means me getting a rental car and was very upset about this. Was told that it would take 3 days to get part; I asked if by change in some credit I could get a sensor for my tire replaced was told no but we can do it for 65-85..i said nevermind I will find someone cheaper. @ 245pm I had to text for an update on the car yet again. 6/13 @ 311pm I asked about the part being installed (yet again no update) they told me that the radiator was boxed incorrectly @ 338 was told that they would be getting another one within an hour or so and would get an update. @730pm was told to get my car in the morning that the part wasn't there and they were going to be working overtime to get it fixed...6/14th @ 358pm I had ask for an update ...6/16 @ 954 was told after I had to asked for an update that they part arrived they were catching lunch than working on the car. That the mechanic or owner whoever I was texting had to take his daughter to dentist than they would finish up my car. @ 1150am 6/16 I was told it was finally completed. I arrived quickly and mentioned that due to their error of putting a hole in radiator I had to get a rental which costed me 250.00 and maybe they could pay a partial of it. I got told no we don't do that. I said really because I would not have had to get a rental without you mistake and was told we are only obligated to fix our mistake it is not our responsibility to make sure you have a ride. NOT ONCE DURING TEXT OR IN PERSON DID I GET I'M SORRY YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL THIS. ....with the guy knowing that I had tire issues when I walked out and my tire was nearly flat I was very upset putting air in a tire after I just spend 550 for alternator 250 for a rental (I wouldn't have had to get if not your mistake) is not that much to ask for! This "company" does not care about customers they care about money...they have no compassion or ownership or amends for making a mistake. I was told they paid for radiator and labor well guess what that's what you because why wouldn't you pay for that. For future customers I hope that you actually have compassion for people in a tough situation that YOUR COMPANY puts them in. I had to spend 250 extra on a rental that I did not plan because of your mistake and no cares on your fault really ticks me off more than the money spent. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this company ; you need to learn to actually give updates instead of just saying I'll keep you updated and waiting for the customer 5-6 hours later to ask you and also to try to fix what you caused. Yes you fixed the radiator as you should have but some kind of help would have been nice and adult like but being told I was being unrealistic just annoyed me. You as a company have insurance that covers things for things like this and if you don't you need to. read more
