Dealership: Stykemain Chevrolet Individuals involved:…read more* Jesse Renollet - Sales Manager (claimed to be General Manager) * Brad Davis - Salesperson * Jim Stykemain - Owner Today we drove two and a half hours to look at a 2022 Ram 2500 diesel. I contacted the salesperson (Brad Davis) when the dealership opened and was upfront that we would want to negotiate in person. He was friendly, responsive, and professional throughout. When we arrived, the truck started and we were allowed to test drive it. Less than one mile into the drive, the truck lost power and began throwing warning messages. We were forced to pull over just off a busy highway in actual -10°F temperatures (not wind chill) with traffic flying by. The truck would not restart, and we were left sitting on the roadside with our hazards on in dangerous conditions. We attempted to contact the salesperson several times with no answer. We eventually reached the receptionist, who tried to transfer us to service, but no one answered. We explained that we were stranded, unsafe, and could literally see the dealership from where we were sitting. After some time, the salesperson and a service employee arrived and brought us back. The truck ultimately had to be towed back to the dealership. They suggested the diesel fuel may have gelled due to low fuel, which is plausible. Despite this, we were still willing to move forward with the purchase if the dealership was willing to work with us given the circumstances. That's when the attitude from management became the real problem. I approached the sales manager, Jesse Renollet, respectfully to discuss whether there might be any flexibility on price given that we had just been stranded in dangerous conditions after driving five hours round trip. His response was cold and dismissive: "The price is the price." No apology. No concern for safety. No acknowledgment of the situation. When I asked if the general manager was available, he said he was the general manager. I then asked about speaking with the owner. He asked, "Would you like to speak with him?" When I said yes, he turned as if he was going to call, then turned back with a sarcastic smirk and said, "Oh, I forgot, he's on his way to Florida." The interaction was condescending, dismissive, and unprofessional. To be clear, our salesperson was courteous and professional. This failure falls squarely on management. After everything that occurred, the dealership offered not a penny off the advertised price and even stated they would be raising the price the following week. Based on this experience, I strongly encourage others to read the reviews and take them seriously. This dealership does not value customer safety, customer service, or accountability. I will not return, and I will be sharing this experience publicly.

I bought a 2005 Ford Escape from Anrew and when I had it looked over by my mechanic, they showed me…read morethese photos and said it was not safe to drive. I went to pick it up from the shop, and it had to hammer on the solenoid to get the car started, and then I couldn't get it out of park. Had to have the mechanic manipulate the mechanism on the shifter console. I tried reaching out to Andrew for help, a resolution for the next 11 days without a call back or response to my text messages. I drove to Sturgis to talk to Andrew and it was clear he had seen and heard my messages, but had no intentions of rectifying his blatant dishonesty. I would have no problem if this had been a mechanical issue, but this is NOT FIXABLE. I asked about a trade and he refused. Which tells me he didn't want it back. I would have given this zero stars if possible or negative. In my opinion, he's about as shady as they come. Yes I understand I was buying as is, at a used car lot, but shouldn't they be SAFE??? He asked me how long I expected it to last. Seriously? More than the hour or so it was on the road before I had to park it. All I can do is part it out at this point. NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND this business or Andrew Hamilton. He knows exactly what he's selling, as proven by the fact he won't return calls.

This is within 2 to 3 weeks after purchasing! Then it started making weird noises and stalling. My son needed a dependable vehicle to transport his children safely and he trusted this dealer. I recommend never ever stopping and dealing with this guy and make sure you pass this message on. Now it is sitting in the yard totally unusable and possibly may need a whole new engine according to another mechanic. He wil not respond or answer calls or texts to my son. Do not go here unless you want to support someone who takes advantage of people's trust. Save yourself and stay away from this crook!
