My Tesla Model Y looked absolutely spectacular after the installation of the Paint protection film (PPF, also called clear film or clear paint film) is a thermoplastic urethane often self healing film applied to painted surfaces of a new or used car in order to protect the paint from stone chips, bug splatters, and minor abrasions. This protection is good for at least 5 to 10 years. After close inspection, I can't even tell where the seams starts or where it ends. I had an impromptu consultation with the Aegis team this morning, and while they were super busy for a Friday leading into the holiday, I was promptly greeted by Giovanni. I came in there inquiring about certain image customization processes, and while I had a vision of what I thought I had in mind, Giovanni was so kind and gracious enough to help me ""preview" what I wanted to do. Damn Pinterest messed my world up because in real life, my vision of what I had in mind flew out the window and I was mildly dejected. However, Giovanni took the time to explain other great services they offered which would help address the concerns I had. Needless to say, I was very happy with Giovanni's professionalism, presentation of options, technical expertise, and comprehensive consultation before we decided and scheduled a service package that sounds a lot better for my needs. The previous reviews by the rest of the communitah are legit. I also concur that not only do they offer a vast array of services, but it is especially true with the staff being attentive, professional, and great to deal with. I am looking forward to the service to be performed in a couple of weeks, but I was supremely impressed with how Giovanni took care of things for me today. I just got my Tesla 3 and been so busy with work and home life that I have been neglecting to get the ceramic coat on it and been putting it off due to time and pricing. A week ago I noticed a paint chip from Rock damage on my hood and thought ok that's it time to get the work done! Marvin and Yvette were great to deal with as we got PPF for the full front, doors and quarter panel of our new Tesla Y. The car was done a day early of estimated time of completion and when I did notice a very minor bubble and some PPF folding on my right rear view mirror, Marvin immediately fixed everything when I came by again super quick. Katheryn was very polite and helpful in selecting the 3M Crystalline window tinting 20%, PPF hood/bumper, and 5 year ceramic coating. Katheryn gave me a great deal for the total package. Katheryn sent me text messages with updates and videos showing a few of the minor defects they found on the paint and window. When I picked up the car, I met with Marvin. Marvin showed me all the work they completed including the ceramic coating of the white seats which I didn't expect. Finally had an opportunity to take my car into Aegis and get my car paint corrected and ceramic coated! I had to have my car repaired at a local body shop. They did a great job with the repairs but it looked like they washed and dried my car with sandpaper - the paint on my hood specifically had so many swirls and water spots. I knew I had to get my car professionally paint corrected and ceramic coated and I decided to go with Aegis because of the stellar reviews. I took my car in and expressed my concerns with my car and the work that the previous body shop had done. They were super friendly and attentive to my concerns. They are great with their scheduling - I scheduled my drop off and pick up with them and they were always very organized. I did have a slight issue with the ceramic coating after the 2 week cure period - I noticed a number of water spots after leaving my car in the garage for 2 weeks away from all of the elements. I did some research and I read that oftentimes the heat from the curing process brings very old paint defects to the surface. I didn't think it was an issue with the application because the car was spotless when I picked it up. I reached out to Aegis and told them about the issue and how I'd kept my car undriven in the garage for the entire cure period, and they took my car right back and made sure I was happy. At no point did they try and blame me for the water spots or anything, they were so friendly and understanding. I believe the true indicator of a business is not necessarily how they treat you when everything is going right, it's what they do when something goes a little south. Aegis went above and beyond and I could not be happier. I will be taking all of my cars here! read more

I needed a car wash due to all the fires we have in Northern California ashes everywhere. Search on Yelp and found aegis with excellent review and figure I give them a try. I called and they were pretty much booked for the day but he manage to go over the schedule and squeeze me in for the morning if I was able to bring it in within the hour. Drop off my car and about 1.5-2 hours later... And sure enough no let down. Car came out perfect and even got a scratch I have removed with paint correction. Just terrible. A friend recommended this place to me in July of last year as I purchased a brand new 2020 BMW M8 Competition Convertible and wanted to ensure it continued to look great. I paid to have PPF installed and coated with Ceramic Pro across the entire front of my car and the rocker panels; the remaining of the car, including the wheels, coated in Ceramic pro, and to have all my windows tinted using their 3M Crystalline film. Overall it was more than $7k that I spent with Aegis. One of the reasons I chose Aegis was their ability to work on my car more quickly than the other shops, but really they were just able to allow me to drop my car off earlier. It clearly sat in their garage for close to a week before they started to work on it because the day before I was supposed to pick it up I got a call that it wouldn't be ready - after an ENTIRE week - because they needed to order wider film because the hood of my car was above their normal size. This is when the oddities started. Eventually I arrived to pick up my car and immediately noticed a ton of bubbles all over the PPF. I was reassured that I could bring it back for any issues and so I left intending to come back. Most of the bubbles didn't go away, and I noticed SO many more over the next week that I was quickly back in there. They scheduled another day to work on my car and kept it for close to another week, supposedly redoing the hood 4-5 times because it so such a "hard hood." I was initially satisfied with them fixing the bubbles but continued to notice more the more I analyzed my car. It was just a terrible PPF application job. Terrible. And this was after multiple attempts. These guys clearly have no idea what they are doing with PPF. And the window tint - even the sections where I had nearly clear window tint it wasn't applied properly. All sorts of bubbles showed up in the tint! In the darker parts it looked terrible. I brought back the car and they fixed most of the tint, but the rear window was missed. I bought it back again for bubbles on the rear window and Marvin started rolling his eyes and saying he was sick of seeing this car. Look Marvin, I paid over $7k to have my car serviced by you. I expect a little bit of attention when paying this much, especially for a car with an MSRP over $180k, but not from Aegis. I was actually considering bringing my Wife's car here but this last visit completely deterred that from ever happening. I decided I was done with Aegis. To top all of my experience off, I decided to add PPF and coating to my doors recently and brought it to another location who I have more trust in. I also asked them to check the coating on the wheels because they have seemed very hard to clean ever since the beginning. The new location confirmed that not only did Aegis not treat a single one of the wheels WHICH THEY PREVIOUSLY CHARGED ME FOR, but they also failed to coat the ENTIRE DRIVER SIDE OF THE CAR! Upon notifying Aegis they now are asking to fix the issues but I am not bringing anything back to them. I shouldn't have to bring my car to another location to verify their work. This place is a scam. Stay away. Use your hard earned money elsewhere. read more
