I traded in and bought 2 cars at the same time from Auto Resource. They gave me a very good deal on the trades and was happy with my purchase when I left. However after a couple days I experienced issues with one of the cars and went back to speak with them. Without any objection at all they took the car to their mechanic and had it repaired on their dime well beyond the point of profitability of the trade in and frankly weren't even legally required to do so. I am more than happy I decided to bring my business here and between how they take care of their customers and large inventory Auto Resource will be my go to lot for car purchases in the future. read more

I could write a book about my horrible experience with Auto Resource. I drove three hours to look at a car only to show up and find spilled milk and trash all over the back seat. There has been problem after problem with the vehicle. They replaced the battery with the wrong size, the owner broke my front seat and is still refusing to replace it after four months, employees have lied and tried to blame us for numerous things. They used to take the time to ensure customer satisfaction, but my last experience tells me that is no longer the case. First of all I made an appointment to test drive a vehicle, they were busy filling out three sales contracts at once I got there and it took over an hour to get to the vehicle, which was in much worse condition than the online listing stated. They gave me the keys without getting any of my information. Then when I finally found a vehicle I liked after multiple visits, they hit my credit report with 3 hard inquiries.. not great for someone who is actively searching for a vehicle in a market that has more than quadrupled in the last 5 years. Was promised that the 4 wheel drive error code would be fixed when they changed the oil. Took the vehicle home and that same day the four wheel drive error message was back on. When I called the shop, they said that it wasn't covered under my warranty... 3 weeks later it started popping when I turned hard, took it back and they said the cv boots needed to be replaced and it would cost 500 dollars total. When I got there they had replaced another part and told me it was 1400. Then when I drove it off the lot of started making a constant grinding noise, which they said would cost an additional 750. I will probably shop around more the next time I invest in a vehicle. read more

A wonderful and easy experience. The car is a champ and was priced very fairly. Salesman (BJ) was helpful and responsive. Finance Manager (Perry) was ethical and professional. Both were also super friendly and went above and beyond. They even delivered the car since it was for my daughter and I was in their shop alone ergo has my own car. I came in looking for a car under 6k, with less than 100k miles, ams i walked to keep my payments around $150. Also, I didn't want any more than a 3 year loan (would've preferred 2 years). Was told by 3 different dealers i would not find a cast like that in my price range, so I came to Auto Resource. They found 2 that met the criteria, had me financed within an hour, and I drove off in my new car by the end of the day. Although I bought the car "as-is", during the test drive, I noticed it pulls to the right a little, and 2 of the windows won't roll down unless done using the drivers window controls. I asked before purchasing, if they would fix these issues. They say they will and I have an appointment Saturday to have that done. The second night I had it, I pulled on the passenger door handle to open it, and the whole thing fell off. I asked if they would replace that also while fixing the other issues. They stated they will do that as well. That really impresses me since I bought my daughter a car last May from another used lot in town, and they wouldn't even detail it. It was covered in animal hair and stunk to high heaven. The owner just kept saying, you bought it as-is. He even has a detailing shop on his car lot! Sold me a lemon basically. Straight up admitted that they don't fully look over their cars before they sell them. All they do is delete codes. Bought my car January 17th and within 3 weeks my car lost power while driving several times. I brought I back to them and told them my problem. The owner said " if it's something minor like a battery we will cover it" he then proceeded to charge me 95 dollars for just spark plugs. Anyone who knows anything about cars knows that 4 spark plugs don't add up to that. Which I'm not petty about 95 dollars but still went in there and told them that that was a bit extreme. The salesman working then proceeded to slam my car key on the counter and said " we'll take care of it." Not even an hour later the owner called me and threatened to send me to collections. So I went in there and gave them the money and was treated like I was stupid and told "if you have any more issues please come back".My car still had the same issues after they "fixed it" and when I brought it somewhere for a second opinion turns out it wasn't even the spark plugs it was the throttle body needing cleaned and the mass airflow sensor. read more

Let me start by saying, I was on my way back from Wyoming 1/24/15 and noticed a car on craigslist. It was listed for $4,999. I was very interested, and actually willing to buy it-as the trip to Wyoming was to buy a car and it didn't work out. I called the listing and it was a friend of the Dealership who happen to list the car for him. On Auto Resource's website, it was listed for nearly $6,000, so I called and was told oh we sell it to people who saw the craigslist ad for $4,999 and everyone else for $6,000. I kindly said we would be there around 4, which is 2 hours before they close to be told "I will stay until 6 but not any longer because people have plans- it's a Saturday night" I should have gotten the hint there that the guy was a complete jerk. I told him I had an auto shop set up for a pre-car purchase check to be told "Ive never needed more than 15 minutes to look at a used car but ok". I arrived to the "dealership" which is a little cabin in the middle of a parking lot. I took the Ford Focus to get a pre-purchase check and was handed the Car-fax. I was handed 1 out of 6 pages. I knew something was up. When I was waiting for it to get checked over at the other, shop I bought my own car-fax online which was 12 pages long. There was several things wrong with the car so I got quotes to show Kyle (the name of the rude owner of this dealer). I showed him the information I had, knowing I did not want to buy this car but trying to show him it was clearly misrepresented. I was cursed out, told to go F myself and did not know what I was talking about, so I left. Not 5 minutes after I left I received over 10 text messages from Kyle, which Is still have stating I wasted his time, cursed at me some more, I was "kind of stupid" and told me " I was a dumb POS who didn't know what I was talking about" and was glad he didn't sell me the car. To finish that text he said "Thanks for the laugh". I was horribly mistreated and I went there with cash with the intention to buy the car. I took it to another shop and paid for a pre-purchase inspection, and I also wasted my own money on a Car-Fax to be yelled and cursed at. Do not buy here if you have a conscious for how people are treated. read more
