I showed up and they don't have a premium car and they want to give me a Toyota Corolla for $5 less per day. They said they couldn't call to confirm my rental because I booked through Expedia. I let them know about my awful experience yesterday and how frustrating this was. I booked the car online as it was about $5 cheaper per day (despite not wanting to drive a full sized car after booking a premium). The manager, ZUBAER, told me he wouldn't rent to me now and to go to another car rental company. Because I said I was frustrated. I am not going to be extremely late and had to book at $80 uber one way to my destination. I will spend $300 today min on Ubers as I don't have time to stop to book another rental somewhere else. The manager could've taken the poor experience I had and them not having a car and made it way better but chose to tell me to "call an Uber". This is absolutely awful customer service. I have worked at enterprise and we valued customers business and their experience and I am never renting from an enterprise again after this experience. Things have gone extremely downhill for this company. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

I got scammed by Economy Rent a Car at Fort Lauderdale airport that wanted to charge me three times of what Booking quoted me when I reserve the car. Rafique Z. not only found a car for me on a short notice, but the car was a brand spanking new BMW at a price of a compact car. Next time I only renting from him.

    Proceed with caution - I booked a rental car thru Turo in advance of my trip to Orlando. I never…read morereceived location instructions thinking that I would receive instructions once I arrived to the airport since the host (or affiliate) would be bringing the car to me personally at the airport. After booking I left a few messages thru the Turo app that went unanswered. I was able to check in 24 hours in advance by submitting my license and selfie, which I did so the only thing I would need to do was check in once I arrived to the airport. I was expected to meet the host with the car on a Thursday at 9:30pm when my flight landed. I received a cancellation due to a blurry license once I landed at the airport. I didn't board my flight until 6pm the night of pick up. During that entire morning/afternoon I never received a notification of a blurry license or the need to resubmit until after 6pm (after business hours) during the time I was on my flight because I never got the notification until after I landed at the airport. I then re-submitted my license after (when the first submission was clear as day) and the host immediately cancelled my booking at the time of pick up. I was stranded at the airport, no other rental companies had rental cars available and I ended up ordering an Uber (a larger expense I did not budget for during my trip). Very unprofessional and unreliable experience!

I hung up on him and then notice he terminated my contract shortly minutes after. And to make matters worse I am now fighting charges that I'm sure he hit me with to retaliate. The vehicle itself was fine, but the manager at the Avis location in Aventura Mall, Florida was shockingly rude and unprofessional. We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived, there were no cars available. That part was understandable since we were late. However, when we politely asked when a vehicle might be ready, the manager raised his voice and dismissively said, "Whenever they arrive." After insisting for some clarity, he finally said 1:30 p.m. When we returned at that exact time, he immediately shouted from across the parking lot, "I still don't have a car!" and when we tried to ask a follow-up question, he cut us off and said, "If you don't like it, you can leave." While waiting, two other customers told us they had also been mistreated one even said the manager had locked them out of a vehicle. It's deeply disappointing to see this kind of behavior at an Avis branch. The car was fine, but the customer service was unacceptable. Avis corporate should seriously review how this location is being managed it reflects terribly on an otherwise reliable company.
