Last year I had them put a stealthbox in my Jeep Wrangler.. it wasn't enough. So had 4 JL Audio speakers and another sub in place of the Alpine one that was stock... I had to provide the ring that was required to install the sub.. I was told it would take two days.. it wound up taking four days cause all the custom work that it took to get the 4 JL Audio C2's installed.. turns out it's a 70 dollar adapter.. I still thought that it was distorting at high volume.. so I took it somewhere else.. turns out I didn't get a processor, I got something half the price and had all speakers and amps running through the right rear channel. Be careful when buying a voucher on Groupon. I paid for 5 window tint for my car. When I went to get the tint put on my windows, they told me that my car has 7 windows and that they could only put one color of paper on it. If I wanted another color, I had to pay extra. I've taken 5 vehicles here sine I've moved here in 2012 to have windows tinted. They're great, professionally done, I've never had a streaking, bubbling, peeling issue with any. Absolutely terrible experience. Wasn't able to schedule an appointment for almost 2 months. Finally do schedule the appointment and they charge me $114 to cut/program a generic garbage key. Feels and looks junky. Over the course of those two months I can't even get someone on the phone. They literally DO NOT answer. Called every day, multiple times a day. Finally head over to the store and not only can the guy not refund me the money, but he also can't cut the key for me. "The guy who cuts the keys and refunds the money is not in." So there's one guy? In the whole store? Embarrassingly bad service. I finally do get the key cut and when I told her how long I've been trying to get the option she responds "damn." That's all I got. I don't even know where to start. Our experience was so beyond awful, I almost feel like a call to all the TV stations is necessary. We called and got a quote to install a 5-channel amp and two subs in my son's F250. I told the person I spoke with that we had aftermarket door and dash speakers already, but needed the amp installed to these speakers, and then add the amp. When we arrived to have everything installed, my son asked to have his two front windows and windshield retinted. He mentioned wiring for all speakers, and they told him the price we were quoted was wrong, and that they wouldn't honor it. After some battling, they agreed to make it happen for the quoted price. Unfortunately my son did not ask for a price for the tint and paid dearly for it. When we came to pick the truck up at the end of the day, they told him the tint cost nearly $600 for these 3 windows. He paid begrudgingly, and left. When he left it was discovered they never finished the amp install even though they told him they did. So, thus began the half a dozen return trips. Over the course of the next FOUR days, we were back at Auto Sounds for countless problems. Every single time we came back they attempted to uncharge or sell us something. We had a noise problem, due to them running the power cable and the RCAs next to each other. They told me that the problem was our "inexpensive" amp, and that the only fix was a new amp. Told us we had junk, and that we needed to buy one of their new fancy amps if we wanted the problem to go away. When my son sent me pics of the install, I knew right away what the problem was, and had to walk them through how to fix it; of which these solutions they told me they fixed when clearly they did not. Other problems were relative to quality of workmanship. We had damage to the dash, damage to the interior of his truck. Nothing was fastened or screwed down. The amp was wedged behind the driver seat, so much so that my son couldn't move his seat back and could barely fit behind his steering wheel. I called NUMEROUS (DOZENS of) times over the 5 days we dealt with these guys, and spoke to the owner a majority of the time. Not only did he have ZERO idea about what was going on at his business, who was doing what or when or who even worked on our truck, but he defended the poor workmanship and refused to do anything about the damaged dash. Every time I called, he had to get ahold of the rest of the team to "get the story", and every time he promised to call me back he never followed through and I had to chase him around. He was always short and rude on the phone, and never would listen to the input I had or suggestions I had to make things right. These guys completely took advantage of my college aged kid. They tried to take him for a ride, did a horrible job, damaged his vehicle, and did everything they could to get rid of us. This was a $200 install that should have been an easy slam dunk. Instead, it turned in to a complete nightmare and they left us essentially high and dry. I will be telling everyone I know about how horrible of an organization this is. They do not deserve, nor do they want your business and they proved this with how they treated us. Do not allow your child or wife to go there because they WILL get taken advantage of. How sad. Auto Sound has been around a very long time, but honestly I have no idea how. Not sure if they treat every customer this way, or just unaccompanied children. Terrible service made even worse with double speak and confusing sales tactics. I wanted a remote entry key for my Mercedes and after a 2 day runaround they admitted that they couldn't do it. Then, thinking I could trust them to install a backup camera, I got a camera that won't work in the sunshine, which we have a lot in florida. Their solution was to spend $500 more on more a fancy radio with a tv screen, that I don't want. So sorry I didn't go to Best Buy which had the better price estimate. I took my car in to have some front speakers replaced. When I picked up my car I found a base boom box in the trunk. Later I found that the incorrect power source they used closed down the navigation system in my car. I discovered this at the dealership. It cost me $2200.00 to correct, and Audio Sound refused any responsibility. I took them to court and sued them and they did not even come to the proceedings, and got a judgement against them. If I could give a -5 star I would. First he gave us a price for a key fob, apple car play, and a backup camera. But no detailed write up or invoice. But he had no trouble taking a big chunk down and telling us he had to order a very expensive CarPlay (he didn't) and told us when it came it he would call us to get the car installed. Fast forward 2 weeks.. we called ahead to see how much we owed and instead of the 1400 it was now 2,000 and they owed us a backup camera. Oh and he said he never promised a key. The CarPlay was a cheap caperide that we could've bought online for 250. I've heard from other people who were also treated badly when they had gone for key fobs for a fiat. If I were able to use less than one star, I would do so. I am not typically a review-writer, so here goes: I took my car in just prior to Hurricane Ian and was given an estimate for rewiring and hooking up speakers. I then had to purchase a new dash kit as well. Although there was not anything previously wrong with the one I had, I didn't question this... After the hurricane, I took the car back in, and had to re-explain the entire situation because I was informed that the person I had been previously working with had passed away and there was no documentation. It was lucky I had used a credit card for the deposit because they had no record of it. I set up to bring my car in on a Friday and told them they could have it until the following Tuesday as I was sure they were busy/short-handed, etc. I heard nothing from anyone and when I tried to call for an update, no one answered the phone. The one time the owner did answer I got "well, there's no update, it's not done". I had to physically go in several times to check on it because no one would answer when I called. Upon finally picking my car up a week later, the backup camera didn't work. I immediately walked back in and the response was "we didn't know you had a backup camera" which I think is ridiculous since they had been working on that whole area of the car. I had to leave my car for another day. Finally have my car back and it still sounds like the wires are not connected correctly (static when using any input on the receiver) and when they put my dash kit back on, they didn't put the USB back into it's port. It's now just hanging off the side of the media column. The microphone for my calling functions no longer works. Again I am back to calling and calling with no answer. I had a friend call for me and they answered and told them have me call and schedule an appointment to bring it back in... How can I do this when they won't answer the phone and their voicemailbox is full. I would think that with the amount of money I paid, it would have been done correctly. read more

Been waiting for unit to arrive for over a month and a half and upon arriving today was met w/ attitude and confusion by associate working. Never was I told until the associate finally found the unit that it would take 45 minutes to program the remote. Ask for a refund based on lack of professionalism and satisfactory explanation and was told it wasn't possible. Avoid this establishment if you appreciate customer service. read more

JEEPERS BEWARE! I purchased an entire new stereo system from them last year after shopping around at several places. When I got my estimate from them I clearly expressed weather concerns as we were getting ready to go into rainy season. The salesman assured me it would be weather proofed by wrapping everything and there would be no concerns if I got stuck with the top down. I assumed since they do boats I could trust that they would handle everything properly and I chose them even though they were more expensive for that reason. I had the salesman put together the system so it would be perfectly just what I wanted. I asked for wireless CarPlay and waterproofing ad my main concerns. When I got it back initially I was upset because it looks like it doesn't fit, there's actual gaps and the esthetic is bad but it sounded great so I didn't complain too much about it. Two days after I got it back we got caught in the rain with the top down, but no worries because they were going to weather proof it (or so they said). The screen completely shut off and no sound immediately. Till we got home it was sunny and I left it open to dry in the sun. Eventually the screen powered back up and only some buttons didn't work. My husband called them and took it in where they took it out to look at it. The radio was actually laying in water that leaked in from gaps between the head unit and the dash. They said it wet and can't be in water. They not only had hot weather proofed it they didn't even know what the salesman was talking about and said it was my fault for getting it wet! So I've spent the last year with the top up and door on to protect this 3k mod because it can't get wet. So basically they turned my Jeep into a car and I spent 3k to not be able to utilize it the way I want. Flash forward to this week. We have Saharan dust so I'm safe right??? We had that tiny squall the night of the 4th. Till I got the top up it was over but so is the radio. Second time in the rain and it's completely dead! read more

This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life I bought a Groupon for window tinting for my little 2017 Nissan Sentra. I paid $89 for all five windows with a three-year guarantee. I hope it was not the owner who I encountered it was a gray-haired gentleman in his 50s. I use the term gentleman quite loosely. He was rude. On the phone when I arrived no iContact completely rolling his eyes at me and just telling me to return my Groupon if I don't like it. He was trying to man Splaine to me that the computer Hass to cut 24 inch oval's so I have to pay $25 each for each overall.I have to pay this because "the computer cuts it anyway. Wow! Do I really need to be stupid to not understand that you do not have to pay your computer any extra money to cut two tiny ovals along with the giant window films for my car.
