Very shoddy work and sold us crappy speakers. Speakers they sold us sound horrible--like coming from a tin can. When we came back to complain about the sound, they tried to sell us another $300 worth of equipment. Broke door clips and didn't bother replacing them. Therefore, both door panels are loose, driver's side door scrapes the door jamb when opening or closing the door. Loose screws found on the floor board when we picked up the car. Found out when we removed the door panels ourselves that speakers they sold us are WAY too small for the brackets. Instead of replacing the brackets or providing additional support, they used only 1 of the 4 screw locations to secure each speaker (another screw was kind of installed next to the speaker to kind of wedge it in place, which did not work). The speakers are extremely loose--wobbling around. One wire had been nicked pretty badly and they cut out the factory speaker connectors. btw, the very rude woman you've probably read about (who is, indeed, very rude) happens to be the owner. However, she doesn't admit to it--she'll blame the owner for not standing behind their work or agreeing to make amends when in reality SHE is the owner! We came back 1 week after original install--they DO NOT stand behind their work (despite their claims), would not replace the speakers or repair door panels and merely wanted to sell us additional equipment. I certainly had no intention of giving them additional money or allowing them to install additional equipment. read more

I think that a lot of people sadly mistake them because they have always given me the most professional service. I got a car sound system and they gave me a great deal on hooking me up and haven't had any issues for almost 6 months until I hit a bump and wound up with a lose connection but even with that they are always open to giving me help when I need it and they always make sure I'm not without my bad ass bass . So far they have been good to me and I think whoever writes a bad review about this place needs to get a life. They are very nice people read more

Last year , the audio system in our Lincoln stopped working . Several dealerships looked at the problem , and said the only way to fix the issue was to replace the whole unit , at a total cost of over $1600 . After checking around , we were told about SoundPlayground and went there . They diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes ( it was the amplifier ) , ordered the necessary part and replaced it within a few weeks , at a fraction of the price , quoted by the dealerships . We were thrilled with Sound Playground! These are some great guys that really know their stuff! They could not have been more helpful! Some of the nicest, friendliest people we have ever met in a place of business. They helped us out when we were in a jam with the radio in our RV that was not even sold by them! When we called them to ask if they could help us they told us to come right over so they could have a look at it. After a good look they carefully removed our radio and replaced a part. It worked perfectly! They saved us a 4 hour trip to our RV dealer to get the problem fixed. They took great care with our new RV and their charge to do all of this was way more than reasonable! They were so helpful and friendly that we actually felt as it we made some new friends! My husband and I would highly recommend Sound Playground.
