Especially when you are a female (I have heard many times AND experienced personally). Because most assume that you won't ever know you were being ripped off in the first place. So we seem like easy pickings for scam artists. The elderly also get targeted often. These creeps think their chances of being found out, and exposed for what they are, are slim to none. Unfortunately, they DO get away with an unfathomable amount of lying. Mike was originally recommended to me by Andy, over at Caliber Collision. It's the body shop my family and I use. And they're right down the road from each other. So the 2 reciprocate lots of jobs back and forth. Because, it's a fact that many cars that are in accidents, also have mechanical issues as a result. The two go hand and hand. Anyway, I'm SO grateful for the recommendation..!! I've been coming here for 4 years now. I even moved to Queens in the interim, and still make the drive. I won't go to anyone else. I've been taken advantage of too many times, since I first started driving. I'm kind of traumatized by it, to be honest. Which is why Mike's felt heaven-sent. I know I'm always getting the best possible deal.. and I know I'm never being lied to, or cheated. That sense of security is PRICELESS..!! My family ALL bring their cars there too now. Everyone has only great things to say. Fast, cheap, and always gets the job done right the first time. Boom.. perfect Trifecta. Friendliest staff too..!! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. After basically giving up hope for the day, I spotted Jimmy's (which I had never previously noticed even though it has probably been there most of my life). I believe it was Jimmy himself who was kind enough to give me an inspection on the spot, even though it was about 5:30PM at this point.
