Shortly after getting back on the highway, my "check engine" light came back on. I was debating whether or not I should go further, but pulled off the road at the next exit, which was Mattoon. After stopping at the first auto shop, which did not do transmission work, I was referred to CIT. After getting there, they quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me several options. I had to leave my vehicle behind and come back for it later. They did excellent work, and I was extremely happy with the quality of work done, and how they helped me. Very trustworthy people. Although I live several hours away, if I needed something done with my transmission, I would consider going the distance, knowing that it would be done right.

I had know Idea and was just happy to have my tire fixed. But... When my husband needed an oil change, they remembered the mistake, gave him a 5 dollar credit and sent me a hand written note apologizing, who does that??! The second incident you ask? I dropped my car off on a day they were closed (as in not open and no expectation that I should receive service) so what happened? Well they know my car, and called me to ask what I needed to have done, and made arrangements to have my car repaired first thing Monday morning. The lady told me Bob's did all of her services and told me how to get there. The mechanics showed up before they opened, and I told them that I was six hours from home and needed to get back. I told them what was happening, and they immediately had some ideas of what could be wrong. They gave me an estimated time they would be able to look at it since they had an existing appointment. I waited in my car, and they got me in before the estimated time. They diagnosed the check engine light and gave me an estimate of cost and time to repair. It was very reasonable for both time and price. The mechanics were able to get me back on the road, heading home faster than I expected.
