I wish I could give this store no stars! I went to swap a battery, which I believed was under warranty. The test kit at the store wasn't working so, GM Gabriel told the gentlemen assisting, to check it in the back. The gentleman returned to the counter sharing it needed to be charged to discover the status. I insisted on swapping it. Gabriel chimed in and yelled, he was the general manager repeatedly, and that policy was to charge it and check it. However, he was confrontational and abrasive. I asked for his manager, and shared, in the past, it has always been done with no excessive questions at other professional stores. I noticed Gabriel whispering to other workers about my concerns; then, he stepped away to allegedly call his manager. I heard him yell on the call that the customer, she doesn't want me to follow policy (repeatedly), but I told her I have to follow it. Although he was initially whispering to workers prior. Obviously, in shear shock as to his behavior, when he returned, I asked him to be professional and expressed, there was no need to put words in my mouth if he was indeed on a call. I attempted to show him my receipt of purchase, and a swap receipt from prior (another time they gave me a hard time during warranty) and he refused to look at it. He insisted his system was different. I told him the system reflects the transaction and should be the same as my receipt. He started to argue whether or not I was asking him if the system was the same as the receipt. I advised him to stop his conduct, be professional, and shared; I didn't have time for his snarky remarks. He turned the screen towards me and shared, the warranty expired. I told him to sell me a battery then. He brought a battery of his choice and never asked me what I preferred. I flagged him about it. He then asked me for which vehicle but the profile was already pulled up and the vehicle had already been confirmed. I insisted he look at the receipt, and finally he did. I walked out and thought, I need to get his manager's info. I returned for the details, and he did provide it, but I noticed him speaking loudly to the gentleman who was initially assisting me, about me. I retrieved the info and expressed that he could have at least apologized for his unethical behavior. He shared, "have a nice day, and GOD bless you." It is concerning that he refused to apologize after I shared my concerns as a customer but included GOD in a sentence. Of course, I ignored him and walked out with no desire to ever enter that store again. The gentleman who initially assisted me was sincerely apologetic, which I appreciated. Went on 05/25/22 to get help with break issues. Im a dark latina who fluently understands spanish and as i walked in , a man in a white tshirt BEHIND the counter made a racist comment. He said in spanish "here they come in to rob me again" and i then responded in spanish "good night gentlemen" . You could telll him AND the people that worked there were surprised to hear me speak spanish. The young gentleman helping me was nervous the whole time because he knew I understood what they said. I'm a brand new gal to fixing up her own car. When I found autozone, I was super excited about all the great deals they had and how helpful they were when I needed new parts that I knew nothing about. Another bonus, lifetime warranties. However. What they tell you is far from the truth. I was persuaded to buy my own rotors and was guaranteed a lifetime warranty. He even showed it to me on the computer screen. Now, about 2 years later, something is wrong with the rotors and I'm trying to swap them out, only to find out from the rudest manager I have ever met that the warranty only lasts 2 years. Despite my efforts to explain what I've been told, his only response is "I dont know what to tell you." And just gives me the price. No efforts to actually be helpful, or find a solution to this issue. He lacks compassion and basic social skills, and from what I saw, is also very cold to his employees. 3 years of loyalty to this store and company is gone. Everyone I recommended this company to will get new recommendations and warnings. Always take pictures of the warranties they claim to give you, because they will change them later on. read more

My car and credit cards were stolen and used at this autozone. When I contacted them to find out what was purchased on my credit card, the first manager I spoke to was very nice and understanding. He told me that he needed to speak with his supervisor about getting me that information. Marcus got on the line and was immediately rude to me and dismissive. I have just had my car stolen and thousands of dollars in credit cards used in my name and he was treating me like a criminal! I told him that the other guy was very helpful and understanding and he told me, in front of him, "he's new and doesn't know what he's talking about." All I wanted to know was what was purchased! This is why identity they and credit card fraud is so easy!! It needs to be tough on the criminals to get away with it instead of tough on the victims to find the culprit and stop her from doing it to someone else! read more
