I've been going to this store for years and over time with some of the newer counter people and the piss poor attitude and absolutely lazy customer service i will never come back. i drive 30 minutes out of my way to help the mom and pop type busines. they either need to open their eyes and fire the lazy idiots that don't care about customer service. CSR Gomez breathes heavy in the phone saying he can't hear me. I asked for a price quote and he only gave me one and it was the highest price. Told me it was only one option and one price that's it that's all. I called back and got the three additional price quotes which were cheaper than what he told me. This is not good customer service. Don't come to work if you are going to have a poor attitude when dealing with the public. I explained what I believed to be the issue and she helped me troubleshoot to ensure I had the correct part before they closed. We order from Morris quite often at my shop and they are super responsive. Always helpful when we're looking for parts and always quick to deliver our parts. Driver's are nice and friendly as well! The options that they carry are a wide range and if they don't have something in stock, it's not long before they have the part at our desk (within a day, 2 at most). If you're looking for a local small business with high quality parts and service this is the spot. I've bought many parts from this store years since I was a kid with my dad. Unfortunately on Sunday I did have a negative experience with an employee, eddy. He starts off by using a voice which couldn't be heard through mumbles, jumping to conclusions about their stores policy saying my core exchange was too late to be redeemed. When that gets figured out he couldn't refund the core because I didn't have the card I paid with on me. What really made this experience terrible was that he didn't want to help through his attitude and put no effort into helping. I left pretty upset and unfortunately had second thoughts about the business because he's representing them. However, today I was able to return my core with the help of the manager Randal. Meeting with him restored my loyalty to this business. He was no nonsense with the transaction and when it came time to end he asked if I needed anything else. I knew that I had to speak up for the customers who couldn't or wouldn't. Randal took me serious and made me feel respected, you can tell he's knowledgeable about the product and future of their business. Good value on parts but today they let me down l always buy parts here and today i called in an order but walked in 2 minutes after 5 and all the peole (5) to be precise. My father did me a good favor by traveling here to purchase shocks. I recommended this place to many people for many years so its no surprise for people who know me, to hear me say, "try morris first." Unfortunately, today we learned that this will now change. My father purchased 2 front shocks for around 210.00. He then took the vehicle to our mechanic, of course had them replaced. Immediately my father and the mechanic noticed abnormal sounds and realized a problem with the new shocks. The mechanic removed them and after a quick inspection, it was obvious one of the shocks was defective. Without getting into irrelevant details, my father and the mechanic traveled to the nearest parts store simply because he was 40 minutes from Fontana. He purchased a new set, (from a different parts store, not morris) and had them installed. Abnormal sound went away, so my father traveled back to morris to return the shocks. Here is the real problem. The unprofessional white gentleman with tattoos (didn't catch his name) made my father uncomfortable because the questions asked in regards to the return were rude and seemed more like an interrogation. He basically told my father that it doesn't work like this and he will not help with his return because he doesn't have the original boxes. He also asked for proof of purchase from the other parts store even though he had the receipt for the original purchase. I understand the box situation, but it's not our fault a defective item was sold to us and we do not blame the store for this either. Thankfully, Monica, (a coworker of this ahole) who was kind enough to follow my father outside after she overheard what was going on, offered further assistance to help get replacement boxes from Monroe. I returned from work, heard about the situation and felt uneasy about the service provided by this employee. Since my father doesn't speak fluent English, I felt he was unable to defend himself. I called Morris and asked to speak to the manager. Armando answered and I will say he was polite and professional. He heard our story and instructed I return to the store with the shocks and both receipts and a full refund should not be a problem. We did and I was unaware who the parts guy was that denied my father the first time. (Even after we waited in line, my father did not say a word.) Of course with multiple guys working the counter, we got him. He immediately scolded my father for returning and not waiting for the boxes to arrive. Confused, I looked at my father and asked the parts guy what he was talking about. He said he thought Monica had assisted him and I asked him to explain. He had no idea if boxes were ordered and didn't know where they were being shipped to. At this point I started to get upset because I noticed how unprofessional the guy was being. I told him that I already spoke to Armando and that he was aware of the situation. He told me that the owner said "no to helping my father with the return " and that if he helped us with the return the owner would pull the money out of his check. I could not believe what I was hearing. I tried telling him im only doing what his boss said and he put his hand in my face and yelled "timeout!" What am I a child? He said it twice and I told him it was rude. He said it's how he learned to talk in this business. He told Armando twice that the owner said no. Armando was kind and instructed him to provide a full refund. I worked in the mechanic industry for 16 years. I run a service department now of over 150 pieces of equipment in this area! And know many other shop managers that will know about this. Ive been dealing with NAPA auto parts for over 10 years. I have encountered a handful of bad apples but let me say this guy was the worst! I will never bring my companies business here and as long as Morris defends unprofessional employees like this guy! I will never go to Morris again. We are honest paying customers and chose Morris first! read more

Not sure what's going on with this place now. People don't know products something as simple as what type of oil. Three different times i've come in the past two weeks for three different vehicles and no filters in stock for any of them. Given the wrong brake pads. Just too much chaos over there. I bough some parts for my auto back in January, I finally have the time to installed it last month. The story goes like this. After taking my assembly apart I found out that the bolts doesn't fit in the new assembly. When I went back to the Morris auto to get the bolts. Sale person said that they don't sell the bolts, and didn't wanna go extra mile to help me. It took another person to help me out.actually another person tried to help me out. So that person found out that the sale person sold me the parts back in January gave me the wrong assembly. And that's why the old bolts didn't fix. It check out that the correct assembly was in stock. But only for one side. I waited for 2 hours for the other assembly parts. After 2 hours Nobody has call me. So I dial the Morris Automotive Supply and ask. The person on the phone was rude. He keep asking me who I talk to. I told him and keep asking him that if he can check under my names and the assembly parts I order. He put me on hold until another person answered. Luckily or just maybe the person I talk to on the store earlier was the same person. Let's just say I got the run around. Before I got a real help. The parts cost more but I have no choice my car was taking apart, I don't think I will shop at Morris Automotive Supply again. read more

This business is a "small business" so you get what you pay for. Owner(s) is/are more interested in making a buck, than making customers happy. Without any clear explanation of what their return/exchange policy is, I now have experienced first hand how soft spoken (Shy) people will give up on requested a refund on a faulty product. Well they seem OK as long as you don't want to return something. When I tried to return something new in the package the salesman began slamming the register drawer, speaking to me in a condescending ,manner, grabbed my receipt crumpled it up in his fist and threw it away. I mentioned this to another parts store I frequent and they mentioned that they weren't surprised by this based on what they had heard. I actually go here for all my auto parts, and I live in Highland. My dad recommended me this place and I can't thanked him enough. For the most part, they have what you need. If it's not in stock, they'll get it for you within a couple business days. Their prices are very competitive and way cheaper then any other auto parts shop around; yeah even against those well known auto parts places. Their staff, for the most part are very courteous. You might get once in a while one that just has a bad day, but their service and availability is always a delight. Oh, and the FREE popcorn is sweet! Haven't seen that coffee some people are talking about, but you can count on me going back one and several other times for my car parts! I definitely recommend this place, no doubt!!! read more

I am not one to often leave a bad review because I believe that everyone makes mistakes. I figured I would warn people about my circumstance. Everything went smoothly when I first bought a power steering pump from them. The first time I went to return it I was given the information by the associate helping me that even if I broke it I could still return it. I wasn't able to return the piece that day due to having something attached that I had forgotten to take off and they lacked the tools to help me remove it. I decided to return it today and I had a different associate let me know that they don't do returns since the item wasn't new. I was confused considering that I was told two Saturdays prior that I could return an item even if I had broken it. The associate said nothing could be done and now I'm stuck trying to sell a part that had only been placed inside just to be removed because other parts of the power steering were also broken. I wish there was better communication and continuity among staff because the one of the two associates was obviously lying to me. I understand that I stuck the part in my car but at the end of the day I never ran many car with it attached and I immediately took it out after learning about the other issues with the power steering assembly. Please work on having your associates not give false information to not make other associates be the ones to give correct information to upset customers. read more

Best place to buy just about anything you need for your vehicle. We have used Morris and only Morris for the last 4 years. The prices are competitive and reasonably priced to the point that Autozone and and other chain automotive stores won't price match to them. We do occasionally get an employee who isnt the friendliest or nicest but when we're saving so much money on our parts it's not something we give to much thought about. The owner is the nicest guy and super personable. Hands down Monica is the BEST!!!!! She has sat at her desk and gone to work for us when we needed a difficult or hard to find part. We've never had any issue with returning parts that we ended up not needing or not being the right part, never been given the run around and if they don't have it in stock they can usually have it same day or early the next day. Unlike autozone who wants you to drop what you're doing and come in and pay Morris just orders it and bam it's there. read more
