(BUYER BEWARE) If I had to do it all over again I would not buy from Autobahn Porsche Fort Worth. I have agonized at writing this review but the final straw was sending an email earlier this week, and when before I would receive a response from Finance (Frain Salazar) or the General Manager (Jim Morrison), now it's nothing. Purchased a CPO 2021 Porsche Cayman T from Autobahn in Oct 24. When I received the car in Virginia, purchased it from out of state, it had body damage that the shipper noticed but Autobahn didn't. Called and after 2 weeks of back and forth they agreed to fix the issue at a local body shop of my choosing. Fixed it and all is well but I was without my new Porsche for one week. Additionally, the dealership has failed to provide the CPO checklist that I have requested numerous times. This leads me to believe it was either not done well or not done at all. The CPO process and package comes at a premium and is the only reason I bought this vehicle from the dealership...(Buyer Beware) I've been waiting for my registration now for 3 months and have not received it yet. Temp tag expired on Dec 17, 2024 and since then I've been unable to drive it or risk the possibility of getting ticketed. I have called the dealership and they have stated they can't issue a new temp tag as it may delay the registration process, mind you they don't know what stage the registration process is. The dealership, GM included, have now stopped returning my messages or emails. (Buyer Beware) Please be aware that once you leave the dealership and they have completed the sale you may or may not getting the Porsche experience and customer service we all pay for and hope to get. Finally, I write this review knowing that it will undoubtedly anger the dealership and most likely increase the lack of inattention or care to my situation but I feel morally obligated to inform other individuals who are deciding on whether or not to do business with Autobahn Porsche. BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought a 2018 Macan S from this dealership (Certified-Preowned) and they provided a clean carfax report. A while later, I was rear-ended at a stoplight. Once the vehicle was repaired, I talked to my insurance company about filing for loss of value. The insurance company came back to let me know the vehicle had been in TWO other accidents and a separate claim involving a rodent getting into the electrical. Me and my wife decide to purchase a new Macan so we decide to visit this dealership which is like 10' away from our home. We visited the location twice, cause the second time we were ready for the process. We never moved forward cause at this location the "Sales Professionals" as they have the title on their business cards, are young kids that because they "work" at a Porsche dealership, they think they own the world. The first time we spoke with Julio Echavarria, the "Sales Professional". Not sure what was his thoughts but we felt that we will jot move forward wjth the purchase. The second time, we spoke with a blonde "professional", also kid, but I don't remember his name. We didn't told him that we were there to place the order, but we told him that we have some questions regarding the configuration of the car. He wasn't interested to answer in detail so within 5' we were out. If you want to be treated nice, go to Porsche at Grapevinne. We place our order there and whole experience is in another level. The sales representatives are very nice and very welcoming. During those 5 months, our repr was in contact with us very often letting us know about the ETA. The location at Fort Worth is very sad, very small and I guess they cannot find the right people. Very sad to be treated like this when you ready to do a purchase of almost $100.000. Started off on our purchase with a reference for a sales person form a friend with Our Country Homes - Brian. Shane was recommended and he was the best of my all my past car buying experiences. We decided on a car Friday and Saturday around noon I was driving away in a fabulous unbelievable car. Had not been to the dealership all was done on the phone so communication was exceptional. Was there for about an hour going through all the operating functions which was mind blowing with all the technology. One thing I need to locate today is the release for the gas fill. All the other functions will take time to learn. Porsche Cayman S sounds good VERY GOOD and switching from auto transmission to manual and speed shifting like a race car on the steering wheel is a thrill and lots of g force.
