Came in on a 2017 jeep wrangler unlimited VIN 1C4BJWEG5HL523961, my sales person was Nate. The jeep hadn't been through the shop yet but they offered me to take it out on a test drive. I scanned the jeep and it came back with a misfire in cylinders. Explained the jeep had a misfire, looked at two other jeeps on the lot took one down the road got to 50 mph and the thing shook uncontrollably, brought it back and the sales manager said it needed 15,000 dollars worth of work according to the service department (but they let me test drive it?!?!) According to Nate he is at the top of the list for sales (he'll show you, you don't even have to ask) which if that is the case their whole sales team is a degrace. I've worked in auto sales, and can't believe how he treated me as a customer. Anything I had to say, I was telling him things he clearly wasn't listening because then he would ask me the same things. I just told him he took phone calls. Talked to other people, just handed me the keys and walked away didn't tell me anything about any of the vehicles. When I showed up for my appointment at 5 o'clock walked in the door, I said hi I'm here for my 5 o'clock appointment immediately asked me what vehicle I was there to see, when I texted and called him earlier last voicemail confirming I would be there 5 o'clock that day as we had set up the appointment the day before. The quality of the vehicles is laughable none of the vehicles they have through the shop and yet they were up as a front of a lot ready to be sold. Don't waste your time or money, spend $70 get yourself a DTC scanner at AutoZone and scan all vehicles that you look at look up the codes and see what's wrong with the vehicle so you don't get duped by these Shiesty individuals. read more

Drove 2.5 hours to get a BMW 340i that was listed at 29.9k. When I got to the dealership I test drove it and decided to purchase this vehicle. The manager came to me and said "I'm sorry but I listed this as the wrong price online. It should be 32.9k. I will honor the 29.9k price if you buy it today" so I started to do the paper work and start the buying process. About an hour in, he comes back and says he cannot do the price that was advertised on line and we had to do the 33k price. Needless to say I walked out and am upset that such an easy task could be messed up. (Unprofessional). Such a bad experience today 07/14/2018. I went there with my friends for the BMW 435. The white guy who sit next to the front door with glasses severed me so bad. I ask for the test drive with my international driving license, and he rejected and looks no patience. Then we ask him to drive us around and he said no as well. When we came back, another sales people called back to ask about are we still interest with that car, we told her our experience today but she said we suppose to do the test drive with my international license.We drove 40 miles there from Malden and the sales people was so rude and looks like a racist(We are Chinese). How are you going to sell someone a car for $50,000 on rotted out tires? Idk where to begin with these people. They claim "all our vehicles go through an extensive 128 point inspection, are fully reconditioned and detailed to perfection". They need to add four more points to that inspection then and actually inspect the tires for dry rot and tread depth. The salesman Florian told me the car was in mint condition and the tires and brakes were perfect. Florian is also supposedly their Audi guru yet had no idea that the grille, trim and emblems on this Audi were all swapped out. He tried telling me the car came like that with the black optic trim. It's a 1 of 75 limited edition panther. Black optic trim is not an option. He told me I was wrong.. I was able to find the original listing for this exact car which was sold in Pasadena in 2020.. with photos of it in its original brushed aluminum trim. (Photos below) Autobahn is a McGovern dealership. Audi Schrewsbury is a McGovern dealership. The Audi RS5 I was going to buy had a two year old recall on it which was never addressed. I found this recall on my own and was never made aware of it. I made them send it to the McGovern owned Audi dealership down the block before selling me the car to address the recall which was for the passenger occupancy and airbag system. So you know, got forbid I crash, my son might have a working airbag.. no big deal to them though. While it was there I called Audi and had them do a $380 inspection on the vehicle as I was concerned that this car had never been to an Audi dealer for service in the four years it was on the road. Audi told me that both front tires have complete dry rot and would need to be replaced to pass inspection. The front tires failed inspection on tread depth as well. The rear tires measured 4/32nds. New tires are 9/32nds. All four tires cost $1450 total. the rear subwoofer was blown out and it would be a $400 repair. They refused to take care of either of those problems and told me the car was being sold "as-is". I offered to pay for two of the four tires and the subwoofer and still they said no. I ran the carfax myself and the carfax report I got back included a lot that theirs didn't show. (Make sure you run your own carfax.. don't trust theirs.) Including fourth owner who bought the car from them in December and returned it a month later. This is their third time selling this car in two years. I also ran a Badvin in report on the car and found even more. They try to sell you garbage warranties for their cars but when you look up the warranty company, the reviews are horrible and it's endless people complaining about them not honoring warranties, not being able to find shops near them that take their warranty etc. This whole ordeal was an almost two week process. It took them four days just to bring the car to Audi for the recall and they were pushing me to sign purchase paperwork before they brought it over there. The finance guy Dmitriy told me I had until midnight to sign the paperwork other wise it would expire.. I refused to sign until the car went to Audi. They dropped it at Audi the next day and that's when was told about the dry rot by Audi. Had I signed these papers the night before I would be stuck changing out $1450 worth of tires and a $400 blown speaker. Instead I get to warn you all to not do business here and fortunately dodged a bullet on this one. Gladly taking my money elsewhere. I've included photos of the car, their inspection claim, the listing, their warranty pricing for basic powertrain as well as the same warranty but directly through Audi which was only $100 more. Autobahn came down on their warranty price to $2900 but for $700 more I would rather have the universally accepted Audi warranty and have an Audi repaired by an Audi dealer instead of some janky body shop. read more

I hate buying cars. I absolutely hate it. That being said, my experience here was pretty good. My sales professional was great and allowed me to negotiate fairly and transparently. The overall selection at this place was impressive and will be a place I go back to in a few years when I need a new car. In the end I feel I got a good deal, but only after 2 hours of pretty rigorous negotiation. My suggestion is to remain firm to the amount you want to spend. They need to make money on the car to stay in business, and you need a fair price you can feel good about. I spent the end of last week working out a deal with an absolutely amazing sales guy. We had the numbers worked out, I had a DEPOSIT placed on the vehicle. Then when I went to confirm that everything was locked in two days before my trip down, I was informed that the vehicle that I put a deposit on was actually removed by the management of the company because he decided to purchase it for his own kid. The sales person was incredible, but management of this company is terrible. Undercutting a customer for a vehicle with a deposit on it for your own kid is sleazy. Do not trust this company, even with a deposit on a vehicle, if you are out of state. Management did not reach out to me directly to let me know, or correct the situation, but instead left the sales guy to fend for himself. Not a customer, or employee orientated company at all. consider somewhere else for your next vehicle purchase. read more

Struggling to comprehend what just happened. I arrived in my 2014 Cadillac ATS and began casually looking at some BMW's. The sales guy walked up to me and said, "Which car are you buying today?"...that was his opener. I explained I was just poking around and he then asked if I'm tired of my car yet because "Cadillacs are a f---ing boring car, man. Cadillacs suck." He began bragging about owning 7 BMW's and accusing me of being wrong when I explained my last two BMWs had various problems that ultimately steered me away from the brand. He continued on about how I should go back to BMW because my Caddy is completely inferior. The lack of professionalism and sheer ignorance of this salesperson was unbelievable. I am in enterprise software sales myself and one of the very first basic things we learn in any sales role is to respect and empower the customer and let them tell you what they're looking for. You should help them see the flaws in their existing product/solution (or car in this case) while never blatantly telling them that you think it is garbage. That's just common sense. I've always been impressed by the looks of the cars at this dealership but have heard the sleaziness of their employees and the company's inability to back up or support their customers is their biggest problem. I now see wholeheartedly why this is true. I've told numerous friends and family members about today's experience already and will never return to Autobahn USA. Truly shocking. read more

This is a disappointing and cautionary tale, that not every business cares to retain a customer following, and that, well...humans are greedy. Sometimes places really DO stay true to their stereotypes. - Autobahn has ZERO interest in appreciating or retaining returning customers. My first purchasing experience there was a few years ago, in which I recall everyone seeming warm and decently organized. I looked forward to coming back when I would be ready for a new vehicle transition and was assured that my purchase would have great trade-in value when I was ready. When it came time for my revisit, it was made clear to me that my returning business was in no way appreciated. I support local businesses, especially in the area where I reside, but this place feels like a set of revolving doors with staff only interested in their bottom line: LESSON #1 I had expected to be welcomed back and cordially "taken care of" to at least some degree--rather that is not what you can expect here on a revisit. Heartbreakingly, I was told that I was not worth their time, and a vehicle they sold me only a few years ago (and had assured me would keep much of its value) was completely unwanted and unvalued as a trade-in. So, in a nutshell, they do not sell you anything they would ever be interested in buying back someday: CAUTION: LESSON #2. - The salesman was very nice and new--on his early days at the location--he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly...with no shticks or pushiness. He was patient, quick, and accommodating. It's really too bad that his manager lost him a sale. - After a few test drives (on vehicles that would have all needed a few repairs before purchasing--Not a good sign), things took a turn. I gave my initial figures that I would like to pay monthly (which of course was a bit low), and a manager arrived to sort things out--he quickly came over and essentially told me to go kick rocks...wrapping up what was a pleasant shopping experience in 2 rushed and curtailed minutes. I was clearly seen as a waste of their time...they had ZERO interest in negotiating the starting sticker price or even talking about financing options with me. I gave the manager several opportunities to talk me up on a monthly rate or counter-offer, but I was shut down and pointed toward the door. When I asked about trading in the vehicle I had previously purchased from them, the manager pulled a number completely out of the air in terms of what they would offer for it...which was over $4,000 LESS than the lowest KBB value that the salesman and I had looked up. It was clear that the manager did not do any research on the actual value of the car and pulled an insulting figure out of the air just to put me off and get rid of me as fast as he could. Again, in this conversation there was ZERO demonstration of appreciation that I wanted to become a repeat customer (other than a half-empty "thank you for coming back BUT..."). I almost think they dread having customers return, as they do not want to see cars they have sold before again and they do not want to put any energy into how we are treated: LESSON #3 - I don't like clichés, but this place is stereotypically dishonest. Their website and sales room are plastered with posters boasting that they always offer fair value on the KBB worth for trade-in. This manager's offer was in complete contradiction to that boast, so make sure to lower your expectations and take that promise from them with a grain of salt. Look up your vehicle on KBB before you go, and DO NOT expect to get anything close to that figure from them--even if you select on the KBB site that your vehicle is not in the best condition (mine just needed a thorough wash and an oil change): LESSON #4 - From this experience, I think I have been turned off from car dealerships for a while. I'm going to keep my current beloved vehicle, finish paying off her loan ahead of schedule, and enjoy her as I most likely stand witness to her drastic devaluation--which Autobahn had assured me would not happen. I came here to purchase a relatively inexpensive used car, though most of Autobahn's inventory seems to be BMWs and other more luxurious cars. The salesmen were easy to work with, not too pushy, and personable. Their cars are all serviced and detailed well, even the cheaper ones. After my test drive, we were able to negotiate down to $8,000 from the $9,000 list price. There was one minor problem that I noticed quickly (squeaky upper rubber strut bearing causing noise but not affecting the car's driveability) and they were kind enough to overnight the parts and have the problem fixed as soon as possible. read more

The sales person I was dealing with was generally too busy to speak with me, and the sales manager gave me an earful when I tried to gain possession of needed documents to get my new to me car registered and on the road. Bought a beautiful car from here, only to find that they don't know what they're doing with paperwork for out-of-state sales, and then when their incompetence shows in this area, their great customer service disappears. Managers and sales people don't know how to call customers back, nor how to own up or apologize for effin' up paperwork. On a good note though, they hire smart people to deliver their cars, which I'm thankful for, as it was him, not the car dealership, that figured out how to fix everything and get the car registered. Autobahn USA sold me a damaged and defective vehicle. I purchased a 2019 BMW 330i from them and found out after the purchase that it had documented accident history. I also can't access any of the ConnectedDrive functions that were advertised with the vehicle as it was a fleet vehicle (also not disclosed) that was never properly set-up. They use CARFAX and this vehicle didn't have a CARFAX history. Yes, I signed off on the report for the vehicle but no CARFAX history is different than a clean report. They were deceitful and took advantage of a buyer who could easily not understand that. After I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the dealership did offer to purchase the vehicle back from me but at a disrespectfully low offer. They had a chance to make this situation right but instead chose to be condescending in their responses and disrespectful in their lowball offer. There are some areas of concern in the report and in your email that I would like to address. Inspected underbody and found scuff on Stiffening plate- This is undercarriage plate installed and design by BMW for the protection of engine and axel in the car, and scuff marks on this plate by any means do not indicates any defect on the car. Rear Wheels are bent-Knowing that 90% of all aluminum wheels on used cars have some degree of imperfection, we do not repair bent wheels that do not cause vibration or visually look fine. We did not notice any vibration in our inspection but respect your opinion and will share the cost of wheel straightening with you. Checked operation of PDC system and find inner sensor not working- We respect the opinion and will share the cost of replacement of the faulty sensor. We replaced the passenger side seat cushion due to scratches on the old cushion, this replacement part is separate from heating element in the seat and has no bearing on heated seat function or warranty of the car. In conclusion, the warranty on this car is the remainder of 4Years/ 50,000 miles which is exactly the same as any other 2015 BMW, Canadian or US and there is no Maintenance coverage since BMW does not offer Maintenance on 2015 model year neither in US nor in Canada. This factory offered warranty is honored by any BMW dealership in US and Canada. Additionally, in contrast to your claim there is no mention of the factory warranty being voided anywhere in the repair order from BMW in writing. We will pay for wheel straightening and sensor replacement at the retail cost of $75 per wheel and $200 for sensor for total of $350.00 and guarantee that your factory warranty is intact. One of the worst experiences I have had at dealership. I took an appointment and later on when I went there I had to wait for an hour before they showed me a car. The next time I went in without an appointment. They told me that the average wait time is 30 mins and could take more than that. After an hour of waiting I asked them if they will let me test drive as it was 5,30 and they close at 6. The representative told me that they serve customers after 6 as well and they don't kick out like other dealerships. I decided to wait. At 6 finally my chance came up and the representative took me into the parking space and told me that I can seen the car from inside but cannot test drive. After asking him to open the car to check it he told me that the cars get automatically locked after working hours and he cannot open it now. (bullshit). He then asks me to just look at the car from outside and come in tomorrow for test drive. I wasted 2 hours and ended up looking at the car from outside. After we completed the test drive & I parked the car, sales rep asked me how my husband liked it. I reminded him that I was buying the car so not sure why he inquired about my husband's opinion first. I have bought over 20 vehicles over the years. I recommend people spend a lot of time combing through the reviews. Don't believe all the 5 star ratings. They delivered a car with damage they promised to repair before it was delivered, then offered cash that was less than the cost repair and have not made good on that 2.5 months after the sale!!! They took over a week and half to get the paperwork correct and close the sale while making all kinds of excuses that made no sense at all. We have been lied to more times than I can count by this dealership. STAY AWAY unless you want heart break. I bought the car for my wife for her birthday and it was one of the biggest mistakes I have made in years. And enjoy reading the responses they make to customer complaints. They are garbage. My wife has been asking them for 2.5 months to make good on their promise. We will be happy to escalate this matter as this behavior by a business is completely unacceptable. Made a deal over the phone to purchase a car I've gone back and forth with them for a few weeks. Dealer called me on Friday and took down my credit card for a $5k deposit and told me they would be sending me the paperwork. Got nothing later that day or during the weekend. Monday I text my contact and ask for the paperwork. A few hours later I get call from the GM saying they never processed my deposit and the car is gone. Very stereotypical experience found here. They do things pretty much by the textbook of used car dealers when it comes to trying to justify why their car is worth so much and your car is just not worth anything. The sales staff are good at sticking to the script. They booked my car checking off it had scratches all over (which it does not, EASY to prove) to devalue my car. Then try to tell me how they used to be asking $2000 more on their "internet pricing" so how good of a deal their car is NOW!! However, CarGuru's has their car as "overpriced" by $1626 after they reduced it by $2000, so it used to be overpriced by $3626, now you get a special deal and it is ONLY $1626 overpriced!!! WOOHOO! Then they valued my car $1,652 under KBB trade in value. That instantly packs the deal $3278 before the doc fee (which if they exceed about $75 are a scam). They will represent their car as a premium to play it up, your car is a dog, play it down, stereotypical and old school. The owner says in previous reviews she replies to how "internet cars fall off after 2-5 days" and are sold, yet this car has been listed for sale for 70 days as of today. If you are looking for a fresh experience...it isn't here. It is the same old same old. I notice they reply to most reviews with the same rhetoric and am eager to see what the response will be to my review. But I hope it isn't "we strive to make every customer happy, your satisfaction is our only goal..." Lets call it what it is, maximum profit is your primary goal, cars are your widget; buy low sell high and try to convince the public its low pressure sales, follow the script, call in a manager when it goes off the tracks. My review is intended to give you insight and tell you what you can expect from a very experienced buyers point of view. Do your research, know what your car is worth, know what theirs is worth, take the difference and add some for them to keep the lights on and don't get sucked in with shuffling numbers by them or ANY dealer. I'm conflicted as I write this. To start on a positive note, the staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and communicative with me. I had a great test drive with a salesman who wasn't pushy. That's rare. All that said, I didn't get the car I wanted due to internal communication issues. I test drove a car this week, and thought it was great. Low cost, low miles, drove great. I told them I was going to buy it and started my financing application, which I was told was great. They told me there was a hold on the car since I was at work and work 9-5. I had an appointment after work to sign papers and possibly take it home. Due to traffic it took me over an hour to drive in, but I was excited to get my new-to-me car. Partway there I get a call that the "internet department" didn't know about the hold i was promised and told someone else two hours away they could come look at it. By the time I made it in, the car was sold to someone else. There were no other cars of similar price and style available. I wasted a lot of time on this, thinking about it, deliberating, and traveling there. But apparently a 2 hour drive trumps a 1 hour drive. Overall, I'm pretty mad about this situation as it wasn't an easy decision to make and then I had the rug ripped out from under me. Very unprofessional and ultimately I don't think I can trust them again. read more

I went to Autobahn USA knowing exactly which car I wanted. Tiffany was great and showed me exactly what I wanted to see and worked with me to get great financing. The negotiating processes was quick and painless and I got exactly what I wanted for my trade. The only frustrating part was having to wait for new tags from the Mass RMV, but that has nothing to do with Autobahn USA; it is due to the stupidity of Mass not allowing temporary tags. Autobahn also didn't push gap insurance, lot guard, and other expensive extras on me, which I really appreciate. The best part? Autobahn didn't put any obnoxious dealer stickers on my new car. read more

I had a positive experience with Autobahn. Alex Montes was my salesman and he was helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend Alex if you're in the market for a new to you car. The selection is excellent and I did find the perfect car for me. I'm giving 4 stars, not 5 because I would have preferred to pay a bit less, but I think I did pretty well overall.
