I took my car to Jiffy Lube in Westborough for an oil change, hoping to become a regular customer since it's close to my home. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. First, they took way too long to finish the service. Second, I also had them do a tire rotation. They struggled with the front passenger-side wheel, though they didn't admit it at the time. They kept saying they were "almost done." Weeks later, I discovered that one of the special lug nuts on my Toyota Highlander's wheel was missing--something not visible at a glance. That's when I realized their "delay" was them struggling with the wheel. When I went back, they refused to fix it, saying if I'd come sooner, they would have. I asked if the lug nut could've fallen off later, but clearly, the issue was from their botched job. Bottom line: they were slow, did poor work, and left my car unsafe. I will never return to Jiffy Lube in Westborough. read more

Be careful. My car was in the bay right next to the waiting area. I was literally five feet away from my car. One of the techs came to me with a big smile on his face with his cell phone out and said look at this. He was showing me what was supposed to be a picture of my car having a enormous amount of animal nesting in it. Lord knows where that picture was actually from but why not walk walk me 5 feet to my actual car and show me??? I went in for a oil change and then they were telling me I needed not one but four additional services!!! read more

Went to the Jiffy Lube in Westborough to get my oil changed and let's just say that'll be my last oil change there. The filter was not put in properly after my oil change which caused oil to leak from my car over the course of several weeks. I only had about 2.5 quarts of oil left by the time my mechanic noticed. If you are looking for a problem free oil change, you may want to go somewhere else. read more

I am writing regarding an incredibly patronizing and disappointing experience I had at your Westborough, MA 01581 location on August 24th, 2018. I brought in my 2012 Honda Pilot for an oil change. Since owning this car, I have always gotten the Conventional Motor Oil for my car. Per usual, I pulled up to the garage and told the man working that I needed an oil change. He pulled my car into the garage and I sat in the waiting room as my car was serviced. When I was called up to the desk to pay, the cashier ("John W.," according to my receipt) rang me up. I pulled up the "Save $8.50 Conventional Motor Oil" coupon on my phone and presented it, to which John W. replied, "Sweetheart, you don't get conventional oil... you use synthetic oil in your car." At this time, the oil change was complete and I felt infuriated that I was charged for synthetic oil when I have always used conventional oil in my car. Of course, walking into JiffyLube as a 20-something year old woman I am, the sales team may be quick to make the assumption I have little knowledge about cars and prey on me as a customer they may take advantage of. I feel completely blindsided and taken advantage of that I was not informed that synthetic oil was being used for my car when I've always received the cheaper, Conventional Oil. Additionally, the language the cashier John W. used with me was despicable. To address me as "sweetheart," was incredibly patronizing. For a grown man to address a young girl like this (as I am being ripped off) is belittling, condescending, obnoxious, misogynistic, and dismissive. I have always received Conventional Oil. I am knowledgable in the oil my car uses and the oil I have bought EVERY single time I've been to Jiffy Lube. To be spoken to in such a manner, one that was evident of sexism, ageism, and disrespect, is completely inappropriate and upsetting. My family and I have been loyal Westborough Jiffy Lube customers for nearly thirty years now and have never had such an upsetting experience. I've gone to Jiffy Lube for the past 2 years and have been really impressed: oil changes are quick, they always top off fluids and even vacuum your car's interior for free. However, the last time I went in, the service was terrible. I asked if they could rotate the tires, which I usually have done in addition to an oil change, and the assistant manager said that he couldn't do it. I then asked if they could change my wiper blades, and received another, "No." I waited about 30 minutes for the oil change and, as I got into my car, noticed that it hadn't been vacuumed. I came in for a simple oil change and was charged $90. This was my first time getting an oil change for my new car and I was informed that I should get Platinum quality without the servicemen showing me any other options. I was charged $90 for what should have been a $40 max oil change. After looking up the other options and learning what I should have been charged, the service men were not interested in helping. This company requires that you exit your car for an oil change. When I returned to my car, I noticed that my $40 pocket knife was missing. I spoke to the manager and he took my name and phone number and said he'd look into it. Don't go here unless you make sure anything of value is removed first. read more

While the oil change was fine, I had something stolen from my car. I called to report it and the gentleman that answered was genuinely concerned. I was told I would here from either himself or the general manager. I had to call back later that day because I hadn't heard from anyone. I don't have the highest of expectations for these types of places...That being said...My car was shifting strangely and I suspected low trans fluid...My explorer doesn't have a dip stick so I went here to get an oil change and perhaps a tranny flush. They told me they couldn't do the tranny flush..So I asked them to atleast check the level. They said it was full. The next day I brought it to a tranny repair shop and they said I was almost COMPLETELY out of fluid and had a massive leak in one of the lines also I had to replace the drain plug (the place where you check the tf level) because it was severely stripped...I honestly believe they stripped the plug and couldn't get it off and just told me "yeah you're full"...My bad I guess for expecting more from a "McDonald's for cars" read more
